Will the democrats parody Clint Eastwood's chair at the DNC this week?
My best guess is that Joe Biden will do it. But he'll get confused about who he is supposed to be talking to in the empty chair.
Biden won't be the mystery speaker, however, but what he says might be a mystery.
Oh no, the mystery speaker will be someone more like Bill Clinton. Not Bill Clinton, of course, since he is the keynote speaker. But someone with Bill Clinton's moral values.
If they do, it will be an acknowledgement they have lost the initiative. Aping your opponents is the highest compliment.
I hope not. I don't want anybody making fun of Clint Eastwood. Period.

It seems funny to me that a man can be judged by his own ghost. Every President in the history of this great country has promised the moon and stars and given us some of what they promised and more headache and angst when they leave. But this President seems not to be fighting to keep his job...
