I had three question posed to me yesterday
1:do I believe in abortion.
2: do I believe in Euthanasia
3; Do I believe in Gay Marriage
I'm not sure any of these issues will have an answer to make everyone happy
Unless the person asking is looking for the reason to judge someone by their response
I do believe very often when these questions are asked, the author of the question already has an opinion on the subject and will "call out" anyone that disagrees with their opinion. With that being said, these are all hotbed issues and will have proponents and opponents on all.
I don't mind discussing controversial issues with people...because sometimes you come across an intelligent person who actually makes the discussion more enjoyable...and possibly even teaches you something new and/or helps you see things in a new light.
On the flip side to that...I also enjoy the idiots...who have nothing of value to add to the discussion and just want to hear themselves talk...because they are fun to mess with.
Some one said I like to push the envelope. I do but I don't want to.
But yes I do get fired up.
What's wrong with pushing the envelope...it's a great way to get a rise out of people...and to make them think.
So....what's your question, exactly? It doesn't look like you've asked one.

Why ask a controversial question of others whom you do not agree with?I'd like to know what the point of this is? Do you want to learn, cause arguments or claim persecution? There have been quite a few from a number of people, like this. I'm confused, particularly due to the responses of the...

What if this happened today. All the news networks, all the world leaders, all the scientists, all the leaders of churches announced that it was proven that God does not exist. Proven beyond any reasonable doubt whatsoever. What would you do? How would society and the world react?

What would you say when someone tells you "Have you gained weight?" in front of others? It was full of people and I would not say the comment was really welcome. Yes, I did gain weight, I have to admit, not that much... She did not mean to insult, but I would not consider it to...

It appears to me that the torture issue, as Frank Rich observed in today's NY Times, is "bigger" than Obama. Rich's Op-ed provides a concise summary of where the issue currently stands. In my opinion, Obama had better get out from in front of the train! Here's a link to Frank Rich's...
