   Do Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton believe that "hate crimes" only apply to minorities?
   
   Where is their huge public presence that they displayed in the Trayvon Martin case? This double standard is ridiculous. Get these two self-serving hypocrites out of the public eye.

   Yes...They are race hustlers of the lowest order.  Read this link below of this poor man that was killed today.  There will be no hate crime charges.  There will be no protest marches by Jackson and Sharpton.  Eric Holder will not intervene either to bring hate crime charges himself.  This poor man who risked his life to serve his country will be another forgotten memory in the laundry list of double standards that go on every day.  Sadly, there is little left of the nation this man risked his life to protect.

      What does it mean that there were witnesses?  Were they elderly?  We had a similar case in my state where witnesses watched while a man was left for near dead in the street.  Witnesses stood around videotaping or stepping over the body.  Hartford, CT

      I give the cops a lot of credit when they catch these guys. If I had them cuffed in an interrogation room, I don't know if I could stop myself from blowing their brains out with my service weapon.  I don't how my Dad did for so many years.

   They don't care about white people or any other minority outside of blacks for that matter. When I was 16 years old me and two other girls were attacked by a group of black males. If it had been 3 black girls attacked by a group of grown white males it would have made national media. However we weren't black so Mr. Jackson, who is from the state I live in, didn't show up.
   These men aren't for equality. They aren't for fixing injustices. They are racist drama queen bigots.  Martin Luther King Jr. would be ashamed.
   I hope one day there will be a leader who fights for justice for all people. Sadly though every group has people they don't fight for. For some groups it's gays, others it's whites, others it's blacks. It's all quite sad.

   I remember when a young man was tortured and beaten with inches of his life.  I wrote to lawmakers and people that fight against hate crimes.  The perps got life in prison when they would have only gotten a few years if it hadn't been for the public outcry. 
   
   In my letter I stated, I had never met the victim but this case should set an example.  As my son has special needs and I've seen it time and time again where people with disabilities are often victims of hate crimes and yet it rarely makes the news.

   As you say they are only there to serve themselves and will only show up when a case makes the national news in a big enough manner that it will guarantee them publicity, otherwise they probably would care less.

   They are solely interested in self aggrandizing and could care less about anything else. They will tell you that only whites can be racist, though they might be reluctantly willing to say that any race other than blacks can be racists.
   They will never say that blacks need to own their own issues, such as 12-18% of the population being involved in over 75% of crimes.
   Just as they screamed about Mr. Zimmerman acting in self defense but never even whisper about Mr. Martin attacking him.

   I think the short answer is a resounding yes. If Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson wanted to make themselves credible, they would address ALL crimes on this order, not just the ones that affect minorities. In fact, in addition to addressing all of these kinds of crimes, what would add credibility as well would be to finally address the many issues plaguing the minority communities such as drug addiction, the high rate of out of wedlock pregnancies, high crime, and especially black-on-black crime.
   
   I think what these two clowns achieve is simply to cause sensible, reasonable thinking minds to tune them out.
