   America on shutdown because of the budget close down. Is shutdown affecting you?
   
   News Reports around the World say American agencies and government services all face shutdown because the republicans and democrats could not reach agreement over budgets with Obamacare the main point of disagreement. Can you tell us readers a little about how Obamacare is affecting you?

   Our family health insurance has gone up a third just this year. Many many in my area have lost full time jobs to part time jobs. My child's preschool is losing attendance due to inability to pay. Foreclosure or defaults are climbing due to cut in pay for part timers. Already waits for appointments appears longer. Smaller companies are downsizing below 50 employees.
   I saw and worked with one company that fired two people and hired me as a consultant to do their work. Another that fired everyone. they had 120 employees then split the company into three companies and hired every body back at maximum part time hours.
   Weird laws cause weird reactions

      There will also be another wave of things being moved off shore. Businesses will do what they have to too survive. Most aren't giant fat cat operations that can just pay more, but small with limited profits. This may be the end of middle size bus...

   It's hard to say how Obamacare is affecting anyone, considering the main part of it hasn't started yet. It was supposed to start on October 1st, but in a convenient turn of events, the government shut down. There is some quote floating around where republicans are saying that they can't let people get their hands on Obamacare because they might like it, at which point it would be impossible to take it away. The only question now is, how long will they drag out this shut down? I'm not personally affected, but I sincerely feel for those ground level government employees who will be struggling with the bills during this. It is particularly despicable because those in congress will be the least inconvenienced by shutting down the government. I've been frustrated with politicians before, but the people working in this congress are lower than dirt.

      While I agree with most of what you say and Obamacare won't affect me the fact is that there are far too many government employees with too high a cost for employment. I would like to see much of it either eliminated or privatized for less.

      We Americans need a grassroots political movement in this country.  Both the Democratic and Republican parties are politcs as usual and totally way beyond repair at this point.  Just fire these incompetent congresspeople and start FRESH!

   Its too soon to tell how it will affect me. Obamacare won't affect me and the shut down is only days old so its too early to judge.
   Doing anything that forces yet another rise in the debt celling is a bad plan.
   As the old saying goes; "When you are in a hole too deep to get out the first thing to do is stop digging." something Washington doesn't understand is basic math.
   Obama in particular has never taken a math class in his life. Before being president he was one of the biggest spending senators in all of Washington superseded only by Feinstein and Boxer.
   The country has to stop electing idiots who haven't a clue, which can be translated as Democrats and Republicans if we want to see any positive change that can save the country from the total financial meltdown that has struck Greece and others.
   Its time to beat the budget like a rug and knock out ALL of the pork and everything that isn't in America's best interest. Let the world take care of itself it is America that is dying.
