Who is most likely to say "You have to drink the cool-aid to find out what is in it."?
If they were alive today, who do you think is most likely to say such a thing? Would it be someone from history, or someone from modern times?
My guess would be the persons first name would be "Nancy" and she has already had more than her share of the cool-aid.
Yeah, I forgot about the botox. Well as long as she stays on her meds we may be OK.
If I get enough variety of answers, I'll write an article on it.
Mike the woman has been off her meds for decades as have her constituents.
Easy question - the answer is from history
Jim Jones
I know that was obvious, but if you go back in time a little more it could be Herod speaking to the baby Jesus, if he found him.
But go back to the beginning of time when cool aid was fruit of the tree it would have been Satan speaking to Eve.
I guess in the end, past or modern times, it is still Satan.
Merry Christmas!
Jerry Garzia of the Greatful Dead? He is historic, but from modern times. What was more modern than the 60's and 70's.
Nancy Pelosi comes to mind as the chief proponent of drinking the cool-ade. President Obama wants us all to drink the cool-ade 24/7 and every single Dem in Washington would serve it day in and day out. They need us to have a constant infusion of the stuff in order to be devoted serfs.
Pelosi is from San Francisco and they drank lots of something before she became rich and famous.
{And my guess would be any Republican in Washington.} Let's try to be bipartisan for a change folks. There is enough back stabbing going on without adding to it here on H.P.
The most probable candidates for making such a silly comment, or asking such a silly question, would be the modern day conspiracy theory enthusiasts.
It is an innocuous statement that could be taken in both directions.
1. Those doing the poisoning saying it to those they aspire to poison
2. Those afraid to drink from the cup of their enemies for fear of being poisoned
There is not much substance here for a hub, if fear.
Since this is an opinion question and not a Hub your answer makes little if any sense.
The point about conspiracy theorists is well taken. It is, in part, how the phrase originated. But there is also a point to be made (from history) that the phrase is also about violated trust. Hence, the question.

How likely would you date or marry outside your own race? This question isn't meant to put anyone on the spot. I am just curious how people feel about this subject in the 21st century
