Should every American see "The Sole Survivor"?

Freedom isn't free and every one of those who protect our freedoms everyday is a volunteer.  To understand exactly what that means, see this true story and share with your fellow hubbers what you've taken away from the experience.

Every patriotic American should to remind themselves of what others are sacrificing and have sacrificed.

Some gave all, Frog, and you are right: we should not forget them.

I suspect you are talking about "Lone Survivor". Yes, it is a movie about sacrifice, but for it to be a movie about securing freedom, you'd have to actually believe our actions in Afghanistan are in fact doing such. Which I don't. In fact, I believe the opposite. Our war has harmed the Afghans, the world, us, and our freedoms. I'm sorry for anyone to sacrifice themselves, but we are wrong.

You may well be right, but that does not diminish the motivation of those who have served and made the ultimate sacrifice.  I'm sure you'd agree.
