Why do you think the happiest people in the world live in northern Europe?
According to the World Happiness Report 2013 released by the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network
I've kind of wondered this myself and I've heard the same thing. I've never been there, and most people believe it's cold, dark, and snowy all the time and since taxes are so high no one should love it there. I believe since taxes are so high and they get a lot for them. When a family has a baby both parents stay out of work for about a year or more to take care of the child. Schools are completely free, they don't have to pay for lunch. Children don't usually start school in those countries until they're around 7. So I think it might be their lifestyle in general. I'd like to go there someday and find out myself in person to see the real reason though.

“The happiest people in the world are those who feel absolutely terrific about themselves, and this is the natural outgrowth of accepting total responsibility for every part of their life.”
