Bergdahl = 6 Dead Americans + 5 Terrorists?
Was the trade worth the price?
Pointless war = 1,000s of dead Americans + 100,000s of dead Middle Easterners + creation of 10,000s of new terrorists, so who gives a flipping crap.
If you vote for war, then guess what? You get war. Soldiers die. Sometimes soldiers are captured. Sometimes soldiers die trying to get back captured soldiers, and sometimes prisoners are exchanged. This has been true of every war ever fought and every war yet to be fought.
Bush would have made the same deal, and if he had, FOX News would be out waiving flags and saying how "no soldier is left behind".
This is simply more ridiculous partisan nonsense from the we-hate-Obama-but-don't-have-anything-constructive-to-do-or-say-club. It's really just embarrassing.
Certainly not worth It as it will give encouragement to Islamic terror groups to kidnap more Americans. As far as Berddahl , he needs to be court martialed as a deserter and a disgrace.
“The United States has always had a pretty sacred rule, and that is: we don’t leave our men or women in uniform behind,” Obama said in Warsaw, Poland. “Regardless of the circumstances, we still get an American soldier back if he’s held in captivity. Period. Full stop.”
Any prez who doesn't feel the same way does not deserve the job.
