What makes women a threat to some men, making the latter always viewing  and treating women as an

    undercaste in their respective societies?

Religion (especially the Abrahamic ones) tells men that women are inferior. But, when men see that this is clearly false, that either means their religion is hilariously wrong or those uppity women are clearly messengers of EL DIABLO and must be put down swiftly.

Most religions are inherently sexist towards women including Christianity. King Solomon had 700 wives and 300 concubines. Women were never equal. In the bible only (men) were allowed to initiate a divorce. Even now women can't become priest.

Its about removing competition. As a rule, men are more ruthless and cut throat. They are ego driven and carry much more anger and hatred. They look for more fights than anybody to prove their toughness. In ancient times they could easily physically dominate women, so that immediately pushed women to a lower level. Control always comes down to war. Whoever wins the war writes the rules. If women could win the war, they would run the world. But they have too much love and caring about others. Men have more of a "me first" attitude. When it comes to being first, or on top, they don't really care about others.

Most men are not threatened by women. The media over-exaggerates animosities between men and women because it riles the public and increases viewership. It's all a lie.
