Why is there so much apathy from world leaders to stop genocide?
Genocides are occurring in Iraq, Nigeria, and mass murders are occurring in Mexico. Why is the UN so slow in taking action?
Because it isn't profitable to stop the conflicts here. Most of today political superpower's existence is based on outside conflict/enemy and because of that their leaders unofficially support those conflicts, they give military powers reason to exists.
