Once a stranger found my purse in a parking lot and returned it to me. This was right after my son was born. I was tired and kind of a wreck. I put my purse on the roof of my car to get my keys out then got in and drove away. I had even realized it was gone before it was returned.

Should read, "I had NOT realized it was gone before it was returned. Also the couple who returned it (the wife had found it)refused a reward. They said doing the right thing was reward enough.

That is so great  when we took the kids out to breakfast all 4 of  someone secretly put 50 dollars towards it and when we found out the waitress said
      The couple was already gone.
i've left stuff on top of car too. Including my husband's iPhone.

When I was queuing up to pay bills, a couple of times, a kind stranger would give me his ticket, at least I don't have to wait 5 people before me. That saves a lot of time

I got my food and went to pay for it. The guy at the cash register said my food was already paid for. I never found out who bought my lunch.

The nicest thing a stranger has ever done for me was paying for something for me in the grocery store. I was a young kid and was not that great at math so I did not calculate properly how much money was needed. I was about to return the extra item when this nice, older lady behind me paid for it. I thanked her like a hundred times and went about my merry way.
