The fat man deserves it although I don't take pleasure in it. Here is a guy who said that drug abusers should all go to jail yet didn't volunteer when he was caught.

Here is a guy who said that the housing bubble was a figment of the imaginations of the liberal drive by media and cost many of his listeners their shirts when they realized too late that he didn't know what he was talking about.

Here is a guy who covered up for the Taliban going to Texas in 1997 and refusing to build a pipeline through Afghanistan, giving motive to his neocon friends to yearn for a "new Pearl Harbor" in 2000.

This man and his neocon friends run government to this day for the ruthless bankers and his neocon friends are evil.

It was bound to happen.  What does he weigh now, upwards of 300 lbs?  So many obsessions, so much vitriol--something was obviously always wrong with him.

Neocons are the opposite of enlightened progressives?

      1. bgamall profile image71
bgamallposted 13 years agoin reply to this

No neocons are the opposite of those who want the Fed abolished and the banks to not be bailed out and the war in Afghanistan to end. The head Democrats are not the opposite of the neocons.

I understand the Fed and the banks but whats wrong with a good war?

          1. bgamall profile image71
bgamallposted 13 years agoin reply to this

The Taliban went to Texas in 1997. They refused Unocal's offer to build a pipeline to Haliburton and Bush daddy investments in the Caspian Sea. The neocons wanted a new Pearl Harbor. They allowed 9/11 to happen and they were facilitators of this murder of Americans. They disguised their real reasons to go into Afghanistan with the new Pearl Harbor they created and facilitated.

So this isn't a good war. It is an illegal, and immoral, and arrogant war. And our soldiers are being lied to and have died in vain. Easy to sit and say it is a good war. It isn't.

The only thing I can appreciate about Rush Limbaugh is he brings issues into the public eye.

I believe he is a hypocrite.

But I do not revel in delight when anyone is suffering from a life threatening illness.

I'm not a fan of Limbaugh, but just because he disagrees with you is not reason to enjoy his troubles and make fun of him.  He is just another traveler on this spaceship Earth like any other.  If you do not like him, fine, ignore him, that will do more than the vitriol being spewed here.

I think wishing ill to anybody is not a road anyone should take.  That is a less than classy way of expressing yourself.

The problem with just ignoring Limbaugh is that he is a propoganda expert and does it under the guise of entertainment self admittedly.  There are a number of people who are persuaded or disuaded in the process by whatever rhetoric or dillusion that developes from it.

Do we really need someone to further divide us and make understanding and compromise less likely?  And he does this to make a living.

Sure you have the ability to turn him off with a flick of the wrist but characterizing him as just another traveler in space on Earth is dangerous and foolhearty.  The harm he does is not easily measureable.

I don't think giving his opinion on politics and politicians is hate-spewing. I would say that the things said about GW Bush/Dick Cheny/Sarah Palin and her children is hate-spewing! Democrats do it and get away with it, I guess thats because they never bring anything of substance to the table and its expected that they will whine and spew hate.

But, I'm sure you will disagree.

The difference is that the left has an issue when the tools they have used, with success, are turned against them, they can not deal with it.  Freedom of speech is great, except when it is Fox News or Rush.  Community organizing and protests are fantastic except when they are Tea Parties etc.

Rush is a hypocrite. And he is a demogogue. Had the housing bubble occurred on the Democrats watch he would have been the first to criticize. He is like Glenn Beck in that respect. Here at Hubpages there are many of us who know that both parties suck and that the diversion of right versus left hides the real issue, banksters versus the rest of us. Read my hubs about the new world order and the like. You will see that the central banks and the BIS at Basel thought up off balance sheet banking, which was the root cause of our ponzi housing scheme. Rush was silent. I have no respect for him at all. Because of politics he denied the ponzi housing virus that hurt millions of Americans. He is a pig and I would say that if he were skinny as a toothpick.

And btw, you get a bad Rapp. Just kidding, had to say it. I knew a lady who had the last name of Rocket. Weird huh?

Just a quick note about Limbaugh's weight:  He was a guest on the Jay Leno Show a little while back (maybe a month ago, no more than two), and until I heard him talk, I honestly didn't recognize him.  He was NO LONGER FAT at all.  No kidding.  He looked really good, but definitely not like the Rush I'd come to expect.

Maybe going cold turkey off all those calories did him in?

I do get a little puzzled about the "spewing hate" part--regarding both Limbaugh and Beck.  Haven't heard anything I'd call hate during their radio broadcasts lately.  Guess I'll have to start listening harder; wouldn't want to miss that!  lol

Beck and Limbaugh have both made hateful comments about minorities.  Beck is actually worse in my opinion, and he believes the imagery at the Rockerfeller Center is Communistic, which just sound a little wacky noodle actually.  However, I would never wish someone ill will just because they have a propensity to say ridiculous things.  For that reason I take neither of those shows seriously, and really implore people to realize neither of these men know much about the reality of politics.  They are both entertainers looking for ratings.

    2. bgamall profile image71
bgamallposted 13 years agoin reply to this

Ghost, I agree with Beck about the banking system and he has Ron Paul on and that is educational. But the problem is that his party allowed the ponzi housing scheme with the help of some Democrats like Barney Frank and Robert Rubin. But the need to finance the Iraq oil war was the motivation of the Fed. Read Greenspan's book. He told Bush to secure the oil ministry first. It was about petrodollars. And then in Feb 2004 he told people to buy adjustable mortgages. The Fed allowed the ponzi bubble too.

Greenspan basically admitted to the real reason we went into Iraq. I don't see Beck telling the whole story. Rush doesn't tell the whole story when it affects  the Republicans. Again, both parties are bought by the international banker cartel. Shadow banking was thought up at Basel 2, right under the watch of the Bank of International Settlements who now wants greater capital requirements.

So this is what happened. After Japan's bubble, the BIS in Basel 1 tighted the capital requirements in Japan, giving them deflation which allowed the carry trade. Then they allowed loose capital requirements (lower) in Basel 2 along with shadow banking. Then in Basel 3 they are increasing capital requirements. You do know that they are controlling how the stock market reacts every time they do these things. It is fraud and manipulation and the middle classes and poorer classes get screwed.

And both parties are a part of it. Even healthcare is a further bailout of the financial system, the insurers.

It really is a shame how Americans believe in the American story and turn a blind eye to the corruption.  The same old bravada and puppet platforms are presented with each new administration and we the masses are suppossed to believe that these slime bag politicians are looking out for our best interests.

People who report these things are called alarmests and conspiracy theorists yet no none listens. You just have to follow the money and it leads you right to the causes.  The last ten years have seen the largest transfer of wealth in the history of the world.  That is a pretty hard reality to turn a blind eye to if you have the intelligence.

The funny thing about the far right and the far left is that they are so extreme they are almost meeting on the other side.

I also find it amusing how INTOLERANT of other viewpoints many of the so-called "enlightened and compassionate" liberals tend to be.  Disagree with them and you are automatically a racist, sexist homophobe with the 12 IQ....even as they rail against the "white man and the military industrial complex."

Any assertions that any of the crap we are in is one partys' fault over another are crap.  Last time I checked both wars were APPROVED AND FUNDED by BOTH sides....just as all the deficit spending and bubble creating financial policies were created and approved by both sides.

Here is one universal truth,  about 90% of politicians are scumbags.
