Today is India's Independence Day . What is the meaning of 'Independence Day' for a country?
We are proud to be independent throwing away foreign rulers and their tortures and atrocities . But is 'Independence Day' meant only to hoist country's flag. Civilization accepts the ruling form of democracy. We are democratic ,we are republican, we are independent. How can these terms be defined?
We were freed from European colonial power and sovereign nation to decide her own fate.
