Did you think Donald Trump's candidacy would last this long, and might roll on to the Convention?

Although, it is very hard to take him serious, he may give the rest of them a good run to the White house. He is a successful businessman. America needs someone to help bring us out of debt and make people understand more about how we got into this mess in the first place.

I have read about this and looked at it from many  angles and I've come up with one conclusion; the American people don't seem to comprehend the importance of the job of president. I don't think people know what is important when it comes to choosing a leader.  Most people I speak with don't seem to even comprehend the Constitution. It doesn't seem to matter if a person even has a history of success or loyalty to the country.  Maybe the current holder of the office of president has set the bar so low, politicians believe Americans only care about how they make them feel rather than what a candidate can do for the country.  Good feelings with bad results lead to disaster.  I think with the current mind set in the U.S., Trump could win the nomination.  He'll do so without my support.

First, I can't say I ever liked Trump, just not my kind of person and so crude and so rude! And that hair! (looking much better lately) Yet Trump was the first man to stand and say what many real God loving Americans are feeling. He took those words right out of our hearts and made them visible; what we really think about things and what our fears are and how sick we are of we the people coming last! How we distrust this government who has turned America into something we do not recognize anymore!
Now maybe he is pulling one; maybe he is getting paid by Hillary to win the Republican side right til the end and pull out, I mean since he use to love her, could it be a trick? I guess we just are not sure what to think but so far I am glad Ben Carson is so close beside him. Ben would never spew out cold fact like Donald does though so we like to listen to Donald and we like it being said by anyone! If the others want to catch up they better get down off their political horses or arses, whichever, and start seeing what true Americans want!
I would not know what to think of someone like Trump being President and how he would act representing us but you know, it has to be better than what we have! Maybe he will be President, he just might be. Could I vote for him? If it were to prevent more of the same. Yes, I would have to.
