I  think that America will come to know this president as a divisive , intolerant , even a racist  liberal intellectual who  amounted to absolutely little in accomplishment towards positive  influence , especially in the curing of our many social ill's.    He is a  bait and switcher in political rhetoric,  he certainly isn't a listener but one who is so used to dictating in a classroom .
No president ever accomplished anything  without at  least secretly compromising  behind closed doors .

President Obama will be known for negative divisive activism in the social discussion  and rebirth  of the  race  debate  ,  I say debate , because there are no  , or very little , race issues in America ,, except in the minds of those who need there to be a race issue -for personal gain.

His foreign policies have set back  real accomplishment thirty years or more , yet in a new direction ,  we are now weak in the eye's of the rest of the world .

Social entitlements  are the new norm , more of  all systematic" welfare "programs for  everyone seeking them .

His disdain for all things military is obvious ,   he simply dislikes our heritage of national  strength . Much like his positive advancement of welfare programs his disarmament of America  is a plan , an agenda. Including the second amendment .

Probably the one true accomplishment is the creation of an interest in politics for younger America .  Having used  Howard Deans internet campaigning  creation .

For years Jimmy Carter was known as the accomplisher of very  little !  President Obama   has surpassed  that reputation by far .

Quite clearly showed us that our "government" is not about governing. It's about a one- party-line agenda. We saw first-hand that the Republican party refused to work with, meet, vote on nominee's, show respect or acknowledge the dignity of the President of the United States of America, duly elected by a majority! As a consequence, all the hopes the voters had on this election were nullified and doomed from the start, when the goal of the Republican party was to "make him fail".This sets a precedent that won't soon be undone.
I think the Obama presidency has shown us that the intelligent thing to do is separate America into 2 blocks: Red and Blue. Choose which best suits your character.
That way--we can avoid another 200 years of fighting, and just live our lives as we see fit! Life is way too short to allow politics to ruin it. If some cannot give up controlling others, the only way to survive is break away.

The intelligent thing to do is separate America?  The country needs to be united, not headed towards a freaking civil war!  Is that what you want?  Do me a favor and actually think about this for a change! Unless, of course, you are being sarcastic.

I think it makes perfect sense. You all can live without taxes, abortion and gay marriage. We can have freedom to live and let live for all. YOU follow your narrow-minded rules. The rest of us don't have to! Since you can't let us just be: Move on!

Obama's legacy is that he is the one president who will be the undoing of America.

I beg to differ, and feel that Obama's legacy will actually be stronger than people think....After 10 years, folks will recognize a lot of what Obama accomplished...including the raising of the Minimum wage, a greater education system, and even more equity in Health care....but that's just my opinion...also they will see that actually the National Debt went down significantly during his tenure...

Yeah, but they'll never admit Obama did it. They'll give credit to the Tea Party congress. Watch! Or they'll say it happened because of programs Bush put in. Tellin you! Their ego knows no bounds.

I still have trouble with the unsubstantiated hatred that Republicans, and Right Wing nutters have shown toward our President and the Democratic party.
Obama has reduced the deficit, restored most of my lost retirement fund that G.W. Bush nearly destroyed, greatly reduced our military casualties in Iraq and Afghanistan, supported marriage equality, increased jobs, dropped the unemployment rate to below <5%, fought against police brutality, killed the man responsible for the 9/11 terrorist attack on our country, and many other things.
He has done more with less than any other president in history. How anyone with a brain can see Barak Obama as a failed leader is beyond me. I can only assume that they can only continue to whine and complain because the world is not perfect. They certainly aren't doing anything to help advance our society.
Obama haters will NEVER be happy people, and I feel sad for them.

There is only one explanation. Its rooted in racism. And if Hilary wins, she'll face the same kind of bigotry, only in misogynist form. If you're not white, male and Republican you can basically eat rocks with this crew. Legends in their own minds.

It's hard to talk about legacy this early.
It was easier to see George W. Bush's legacy as it was much more immediate. His handling of Katrina, 9-11 attack, initiating the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, and ending with the "Great Recession". In fact there are many who would argue that it is because of Bush that we got Obama and ISIS.
We won't know the real outcome of Obamacare and the Iranian deal for years to come or the recent climate change initiative signed.
When FDR introduced Social Security it was a hotly debated program and today it's seen as a "sacred cow".
Right now "marriage equality" is still a hot button issue but who knows where the public will be on it in 50 years. It wasn't until 1967 that the Supreme Court struck down all laws that forbid "interracial marriage".
Today "interracial marriage" is not nearly as controversial as it was.
When history looks back on the Obama administration it will probably be a "mixed bag". He'll be given credit for overseeing the climb out of the "Great Recession". Key performance indicators will show the stock market went to new highs, gasoline prices fell below $2 per gallon in a lot of places, unemployment dropped.....etc (That's all "numbers" stuff)
Another moment he will cherish will be the killing of Bin Laden.
However none of that matters today as many people (feel) unhappy with the way things are! There is too much "uncertainty" about the future and a lot of folks (feel) like we're on the wrong path.
In fact many people are more nervous about terrorists attacks than they were after 9-11. Nevertheless time and distance oftentimes is kinder to past presidents. Bill Clinton was scandal ridden and impeached. Today he is considered the most popular living ex president.
Ironically no matter who is president those years they are in office will be "the good ole days" for many of the children of that era. With maybe the exception of children in the "Great Depression".

    The Obama Legacy should be...

    Fast and Furious Scandal

Massive misinformation about the Affordable Care Act

Indecisive actions in the Middle East leading to creation of ISIS

Mistreatment of vets and mismanagement of care at the Veterans Administration

    IRS scandal

    BEHGHAZI

Obama administration's Justice Department snooping into the phone records of Associated Press reporters

Misuse of executive authority on immigration

THIS is just the short list.

Yes, he is a failed president.

Did I mention Nidal Hasan killed 13 people and shot 30 others yelling Allahu Akbar and his administration called it “Workplace Violence.”  His lack of action on terrorism have killed many Americans. Any good things are VERY minor compared to the bad.

Did I mention the Solyndra scandal?  A Silicon Valley startup that collapsed, leaving taxpayers liable for $535 million. After bankruptcy, the government was expected to get $27 million. No money was ever recovered.  The owners were big Obama donors.

The owners were Republican! And Obama was trying to give USA a foothold in global solar business. Outbid by China because of Obama Derangement Syndrome!

The family foundation of billionaire George Kaiser, an Obama fundraiser, was Solyndra's biggest investor. Democrats dismissed auditor’s concerns about Solyndra’s solvency. Obama interfered to speed up the loan approval process.  These are facts.

Did I mention this president referred to ISIS as the “JV Team.” This president traded five high level terrorists for an American deserter.  This president said ISIS was contained and next day 130 people are killed in Paris. These are facts.

BHO is the one who ruined everything and nullified our Constitution.  Those who commit Treason should face a firing squad.
Time is like a river You cannot touch the water twice, because the flow that has passed will never pass again.
Franklin Graham was speaking at the First Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Florida in January, 2015, when he said America will not come back. He wrote:
The American dream ended on November 6th, 2012 in Ohio. The second term of Barack Obama has been the final nail in the coffin for the legacy of the white Christian males who discovered, explored, pioneered, settled and developed the greatest republic in the history of mankind. A coalition of blacks, Latinos, feminists, gays, government workers, union members, environmental extremists, the media, Hollywood, uninformed young people, the "forever needy," the chronically unemployed, illegal aliens and other "fellow travelers" have ended Norman Rockwell's America.
You will never again out-vote these people. It will take individual acts of defiance and massive displays of civil disobedience to get back the rights we have allowed them to take away. It will take zealots, not moderates and shy, not reach-across-the-aisle RINOs to right this ship and restore our beloved country to its former status. People like me are completely politically irrelevant, and I will probably never again be able to legally comment on or concern myself with the aforementioned coalition which has surrendered our culture, our heritage and our traditions without a shot being fired.
The cocker spaniel is off the front porch, the pit bull is in the back yard The American Constitution has been replaced with Saul Alinsky's "Rules for Radicals" and the likes of Chicago shyster David Axelrod along with international socialist George Soros have been pulling the strings on their beige puppet have brought us Act 2 of the New World Order. The curtain will come down but the damage has been done, the story has been told.
Those who come after us will once again have to risk their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor to bring back the Republic that this generation has timidly frittered away due to white guilt and political correctness.
WRITTEN BY FRANKLIN GRAHAM, BILLY'S SON. NEVER SAID BETTER.

Listen to what Franklin said...Basically that America was at it's greatest when Racism was widespread, the acknowledgement of other cultures was not even done, and that Worker's had no rights and women and others were treated as second class citizens

Actually the labor unions were in their heyday from 1955-1975. Black people used to work harder than whites and actually got married too.
