Much of what we hear about brutal subjugation of women comes from Muslim countries, but they're not the only ultra-conservative culture that uses religion as an excuse to treat women as sub-human.
Power over others, by position, should be no excuse for maltreatment of others. They are the ones that should be removed
The world is full of "wrongs" and the United States needs to recognize this and quit trying to be the World's Police and focus on issues at home.
Our Moral Responsibility needs to be at home. And yes again, this is "wrong". But History has proven that you can not change a religious cultures mindset with force.
Clearly throwing money at the "Problem" is not a solution.
