Why not change the presidential campaign?
Why change it, because it is a waste of time.
Lets make the presidential campaign like a test election where both parties vote for any of the candidates regardless of their party.
First, no campaigning is allowed until after Jan 20 of the election year.
Then instead of having primaries and caucuses, which this year have not done anything but waste time, we have all the candidates on a ticket. Just as if it were election day. The democrats and republicans can then use the results to pick their winner for their party.
So Sanders, Clinton, Trump, Rubio, Cruz, Kasich would all be on the same tic
But then the poor media will suffer without all the campaign spending. Sniff sniff
Suits me! But unemployed would rise because pundits and pollsters would have to find real jobs.
