Canada’s high court ruled that sex acts between humans and animals are legal - how do you feel?
As long as penetration doesn't occur it's OK - mean having oral pleasure at the hands of your pet is just fine for the Canadians.....but your dog still can't pee in the men's room even if it's wearing a pink collar.
This is another example of where the feelings of the person doing the act trump all rights of the victims and standards of society. Transgenderism is another, where the feelings of the person trump the privacy and protections for everyone else.
What's odd isCanadian outrage isn't over sexual abuse of children in the case but the now legal sexual abuse of the animals! get this http://www.dailywire.com/news/5190/5-ti … stigiacomo
Why no matter what the controversial subject, human children are always brought into the equation. Why can't you stick to the subject?
What is the world coming to? Canada of all places. What can I say, other than...CRAZY??
All they did is state what the law says. Beastiality is defined by penetration. That does not mean anyone condones sexual activity with animals. It just means they have no law to punish someone for the non-penetrative acts. Correcting that matter is an issue for the lawmakers (parliament).
Incidentally, there are a number of states in the US who have no laws at all against beastiality and several which also define it as requiring penetration.
Thank you! It was a case of saying "the law states one thing and it's not our place to redefine the law". Seems ppl are having a field day twisting it to make some social commentary & overshadowing the horrific abuse of minors in this story. Sad.
My state has a law against it. I'll have to go look it up. I do know that one of the reasons here was because a man was caught having intercourse with his German Shepard and he was also charged with animal abuse, I think.
MzB. I am sorry but I simply cannot take this topic seriously. In fact, it's beyond ludicrous, hilarious & hysterical. The idiot w/ the Shepherd..I assume he was charged w/ a sex crime & then the cops talked 2 the dog & they added "abuse!
Do we really need a law to make sex acts between humans and animals morally wrong? How can anyone justify these acts?
Paula, if the dog said he enjoyed it, I'm sure they wouldn't have charged the guy for consensual sex. A witness turned him in, may have been a cop even. Too many years ago to remember.
Brad...EXACTLY! The only psychos who need a LAW 4 insane behavior, don't give a rat's butt about laws at all anyway! They're just crazed lunatics at large, behaving WORSE than animals! We only need a law 4 permission to SHOOT these nuts on sight!
And we can add pedophiles to that list ! Pedophiles deserve nothing less than an immediate bullet straight through the forehead. They are the absolute scum of the earth. I have ZERO tolerance for a one of them!
Hi Paula - I'm a big fan of torture for pedophiles - long, painful, ending with castration via hammer or baseball bat
I think you could probably also argue that only psychos want to go around shooting people on sight and torturing them.
I feel horrified. Does that mean animals can perform acts on humans, and vice versa? This is beyond disturbing.
It's vile, but not surprising. I knew it was only a matter of time before something as insane as this made news. God only knows what we'll hear about next.
Have you forgotten the outrage and rebuttals of: "who are you to judge them?' or "don't push your morals on us" and " you are intolerant". This is the express and direct end result of subjective morality or none at all. In some cultures its an act of respect to cannibalize their enemy, so immorality can be rationalized, as is the case already as we speak. Welcome to a godless world Mr. Schwartz. Isn't that what you wanted?
I don't think 'God' and 'morals' are as joined at the hip as you think. I have morals and common sense.
Ralph, you would have done this question more justice if you had stated the law. How can a person honestly answer a question if they don't know the source?
Perhaps you are right, I caught the story and it outraged me so much that I failed to bring in the rest of the details
I couldn't find the law, but I did find the court's interpretation of the case. I think they are playing down the doggie aspect and bringing charges for the sexual abuse of the girls. If they play up the dog's involvement it will change focus.
WHO in the hell can read this, think about it or DISCUSS it with a straight face? How much more horrific, degrading & SICK can the world get? Even my DOG doesn't want to hear this crap!........
And this may be just my opinion, but this isn't about "kids" and it's also not about god or "morals." It's about serious mental illnesses and the lunatics who resemble people.
How much lower can it get? We haven't hit the absolute BOTTOM yet????
Good grief, what a world of nut cases we live in!!
The sad part is that if you pee in the street, even as an emergency, it is against the law. Welcome to the Bizarre, another new Normal????
Now ya got it! No normal person would want to. Although there are stories about how lonely shepherds kept their sheep calm at night. Apparently they didn't just "watch their flocks by night." Pee in the street, it's public indecency. Serious business
OK...time for me to barf......That's BARF....not bark!
THANK YOU, this is beyond disgusting & into the realms of abnormality! What has this world....COME TO?!!!!!

How do you feel about marriage equality? For? Against? Why?
by ilmdamaily 14 years ago
Been grappling with this one for a while now. Can't seem to find a way out of it. Is what is "legal" equivalent to what is "moral"? The question is raised because the justification for the enforcement of many laws these days seems to be that it is "the right thing to...
