Is Donald Trump really concerned about America? Or is he just self-promoting? (continued below)

And being, president, is just one of his pet projects, like his casino/hotel projects.Trump Towers etc?

What indication has he given to support the premise of this question. None.
While this question would certainly be applicable to Hillary Clinton, it is not for Donald Trump.
Benghazi and the Email gate along with her attitude about being above the law answer the question about Hillary Clinton.
What indications are there about Donald Trump? I can't think of any.

He donated money to veteran's charities, jet usage to people needing transportation for medical causes, hotel space for families of murder victims before he was in politics out of his own pocket.
He has seen acting out of a sense of obligation to the community when it fits his political beliefs, long before it got him social points.
What resonates with working class whites is when you focuses on jobs shifted overseas, like being the ONLY candidate who talked to workers at a Carrier AC plant that said we're shutting down to move to Mexico. His attack on illegal immigration that mostly competes with the working class, which has a higher rate of unemployment and those on disability because they can't find work (which doesn't in unemployment stats) resonates.

I don't get it "working class whites is racist." Sounds like a descriptive socio-economic grouping for census concepts. Of course I am too lazy to fit into such a class.
