Why Did Kaepernick Sit Down ?
Kaepernick did not insult our military. He sat down during the National Anthem. Exercising the very freedom men and women of service protect.
But the military should feel disrespected.
By a country who silently condones errors of impunity and the violation of American rights and freedoms by those in power who continue to suffer no consequence for their acts that result in the loss of the freedom--The very freedoms for which our service men and women fought.
Why are so many more people offended by him sitting down than by those in positions of power violating our freedoms?
It is ironic for a man who makes millions of dollars to be talking about oppression.
It is ironic for a half black man by a white mother raised by white parents to adopt the most militaristic black pride points as the basis for a black identity, though not as tacky as white Shawn King pretending to be black and starting a violent Black Lives Matter movement that attacks whites who don't virtue signal and demands segregation of black from whites for their comfort.
It is insanity or utter ignorance for him to complain about oppression and intolerance while wearing a T-shirt of Che, a man who along with Castro killed thousands of people fighting the communist regime.
I continue to hear that because he lives a fortunate life his compassion and advocacy is negated. Why is that? Does his status make the reality of our broken system less real?
Blacks killed by other blacks don't matter to BLM, though more are killed in one year in Chicago alone than all killed by cops. Ask BLM why THOSE lives don't matter, many actually innocent children versus thugs.
