Ohio incident caused 8 injured by knife, attacker is killed. Where is the call for knife control?

With each mass gun shootings, the politicians rush to the microphone and call for more gun control. Where is the call for knife control? Or car control since he drove the car into a crowd before attacking with a machette.

How about we talk about it when you get anywhere near 400+ mass stabbings in a year?

Also worth noting that while 11 people were attacked there have been no fatalities... compared with, say, Dylann Roof attacking 10 people with a gun and nine of them dying.

But please, yes, let's pretend it's the same.

I am not pretending anything. Just pointing out the hypocrisy. By the way guns don't kill. People with guns kill, just as people with knifes kill and people driving trucks through crowds kill...

You're disregarding the context in which people call for gun control. It's not because of a random incident here and there, it's because of a pervasive and recurring problem that does not exist with knives.

      I guess Aime F, you haven't seen this? https://www.theodysseyonline.com/libera … fe-control

No, I haven't seen the random article citing an anonymous source saying knife control should be a thing. What's your point?

Gee,I guess u still think they'll wait to talk about it when we get near 400+mass stabbings? The Point,NOT SO,which shows u that mass murders, guns or other, really has nothing to do with it.Stabbing deaths/year r the lowest they've ever been.

You're referencing a very small number of people, a number that isn't even given in the article, and one that can't even be verified by a real person. Not a great source.

You didn't read my answer to the Q&A.Liberals actually are picketing for knife control, but here it hasn't become a nationwide movement because that would be ridiculous… supporting a gun ban is just as ridiculous as supporting a knife ban.

The politicians rush to the microphone?

Not the politicians, just the liberal politicians. The so called progressives. And why do they not call for knife control? Well probably because they live to stick a knife in the back of anyone who tries to compromise with them, like they stuck a knife in Reagan's back when they refused to close the border after agreeing to so he would approve amnesty.

    But wait!

Now a call to surrender knives, ongoing for years, is in full swing. Via Citizen Action: The right to bear arms might be under attack here in America–but in the United Kingdom, police are trying to do something even more ridiculous: they’re attempting to ban knives. The British police have recently joined forces with liberal grassroots activists in the UK, launching the “Save a Life–Surrender Your Knife” program. Knife crime has been climbing recently in major UK cities like London. The program involved several weeks of “amnesty” for “pointed knives.” Civilians can turn in these apparently dangerous weapons at their local police station in exchange for “amnesty,” apparently, even though knives (rounded or pointed) aren’t illegal in the United Kingdom.

Knives also fall under the Bill of Rights protection you know. So of course an effort to ban knives will probably become a reality in the US too, simply because liberals cant stand the bill of rights.

Worried though,Yoda is not! A lightsaber, as long as Yoda has.

Haha, that's funny. When will people realize that the problem is not the weapon but the people wielding them? The 2nd Amendment is needed to preserve our freedom 1st and foremost.

Another Muslim man murders a bunch of people, and the liberal reaction is let's ban the weapon instead of banning the import of more people who see it as a moral right to kill those who don't agree with their religion, Islam.

...or control of low-class middle eastern immigrants. few people know that the muslim problem is due to their inbreeding, not their religion. we have a giant region on earth where people believe it's preferable to mate with a cousin than with a non-relative, is it any wonder so many of them have scrambled eggs for brains?  the simple abolishment of a cultural practice would fix the problem in a few generations.    i'm an ashkenazi jew and know this problem well. it was a huge problem in our community for centuries until we embraced genetic testing and exogamy.
