Should Trump apologize to Obama for his lies about being "wiretapped by him?

Since todays interview with Comey and Rogers proved there was no wiretapping of Trump Towers by President Obama, should Trump apologize to Obama formally and end the fiasco? It takes a big man to say he's wrong so we'll see just how big a man--or how small minded--he is.

Actually, I do not think so. When Obama was first elected, he blamed everything on Bush. Bush blamed everything on Clinton and it has been from the first elections. I think they should all learn to keep their mouths shut, until things have been proven. It would make our country look a lot better in the eyes of the world. Most other countries' leaders do not blame the previous office holder for everything that they do not like, they just quietly go about fixing the things they do not like.

My good friend Becky, I disagree as no other sitting President has accused a former President of felonious activity. Blaming a former POTUS for the economy and problems inherited is different than accusing a former POTUS of criminal activity.

Randy, did we ever have such a bad and nefarious president as Barack Obama? NO. In addtion to being the worst US president, he now is the worst ex president. What other ex president vowed to resist his successor? NONE. We know HRC is guilty, y not BO

Brad, if not for HC and Obama you couldn't find anyone to blame Trump's stupidity on. Why don't you simply try answering the question instead of blaming Trump's shortcomings on his predecessors?  If Trump is proven to have colluded with the Russians

Randy, Stupidity - name calling. Not a valid argument. What is the FBI going to find out now, that it is has been investigating 9 months. Time to drop the baby or go home.

HRC influenced the democrat primary, but you are OK that she got Bernie out?

Brad, the investigation has just begun. Hillary, nor her aides, didn't collude with the Russians as DT's minions did. Trump is an embarrassment to the US with his constant lies and I'll be pleased when he is gone. He's already a proven liar.

Randy, HRC and the DNC rigged their primary to get rid of Bernie Sanders, and the emails are proof of that. The DNC and the MSM colluded to give her an edge in the debates. There is no proof about Trump and Russia. Seriously?

hillary got more votes in the primary than sanders by 4 million. that cant be rigged, despite what russian intelligence wants you to believe.and nobody had edge in debate.we saw who they are. *sniff**sniff* stalker vs polished pro.

oh, i think apologizing is going to be the least of his worries. unless he does it via letter in a prison cell. according to spicey,  "no". its not over. and just listen to any number of russian-infiltrated media, and your head will spin in circles. right, trump?
trump never apoligized for birtherism...i think he still believes it. and look how he talks about obama...and hes systematically erasing everything obama did!
this guy is not nice. hes probly cool when hes on top of the world, but right now hes at the bottom. he cant hold a candle to barack--as president--and he knows it. and that kind of seething anger makes him dangerous. howard stern is right. this presidency wont be good for him. he has no clue how to care about people...never had to. he has no clue what hes doing. and hes got the keys to our car....driving it over a cliff. apologize? i bet hes not done it ever. something about  humananity is sorely lacking in that man.
    My Opinion.

according to john schindler, former nsa man, this is how it works:
RT-->Sputnik-->Breitbart-->Infowars-->Fox-->Trump..and besides hating hillary,we know putin was not fond of barack.i get the feeling trump is performing for vlad..apolo

"Delusional Donald" should ABSOLUTELY Apologize to President Obama before he's IMPEACHED but it will NEVER Happen because Drumpf LACKs Moral Character, a SPINE & of course any signs of Human Dignity, he's the LOWEST Form of Life & of course his apparent Sociopathic Mental ILLness doesn't help the situation ~ However, if President Obama decides 2 sue Donald for Defamation & WINs, I think Collective America would approve if the JUDGE adds a "RIDER" 2 the Judgement which FORCEs an Apology, on Global Television in Prime TIME ~ Poetic JUSTICE ~

No, Trump won't apologize, he doesn't have the class nor is he man enough to admit when he's wrong, AP. As a consummate liar he believes he's above having to say he's sorry for his mistakes. Just what we need for the leader of the free world.

Randy, you don't seem to have any valid arguments to back up your apparently very emotional, name calling attacks on Trump.
      What is your goal here?

Laws do not mean anything to the Cons, Chris. They are in a full defensive role to protect the Orange One's lies. They cannot do this for 4 years I predict.

I think Trump owes Obama an apology. But I also think Trump is more likely to say he regrets having accused Obama.

If I recall correctly, President Carter was the last President to formally apologize to the American people. He apologized for the failed attempt to rescue the hostages. He apologized on national TV at six o' clock in the morning.

lovemychrisposted 6 years agoin reply to this

according to mika brezhinski,"behind the scenes" trump does regret saying it. but imo,he cant say it in public. obama-hate is red meat to his base...only surpassed by their hillary-hate.

John, I don't believe Trump will ever refuse for anything he said, not even his blatant lies about the former president. Trump doesn't have enough class to be remorseful...
