Why Baby Mommas Prefer Child Support over Letting the Father Take the Kids?
So the mom raised the boys through the baby stage, now teenagers. The kids want to live with dad and mom says no, and prevents it. Is the money worth keeping the father from raising the kids? Why do baby mommas keep kids for monetary collateral?
* They are attached to the children and don't want to be visiting part time.
* Child support may be financially useful to her, but she may fight to keep the kids because she cannot afford to pay child support to HIM.
* They may not trust him to take care of the children full time.
* They are rightfully concerned he will outsource childcare to his mother, female friends and girlfriends. And his girlfriend is far more likely to abuse the child than the biological parents.
All great answers but they all sound like very selfish reasons. These are boys and teenagers, who want to be with the father and she deprives them the ability to do so. What can be done?
Mr. Blackmore, short of consulting an attorney, I don't know what else could be done until the boys are old enough to tell a judge "I want to live with Dad".

After 2 weeks...

Ok, I am trying to get some understanding here. Why would a man that is 49 years old impregnate a woman that he barely knows? He has no job, no money, owes 6 months back child support to his ex-wife for their 13 year old daughter and is at risk of going to jail. Why would a woman that...
