If you are on Medicare, are you worried that your coverage will be reduced or eliminated?

The GOP is selling this Tax Plan saying that it will ignite the economy, which will reduce unemployment, which will reduce the need for Gov't assistance.

Furthermore the explosive growth in the economy will rapidly increase tax revenues. Heck we might even get a surplus going like we had during Clinton.

BBBBBUUTTTT we also need to cut spending on benefits like SS and Medicare (that are paid for by employment taxes that surely will generate more revenues when the economy takes off).

Seems that even the GOP don't believe in their own plan, thus the automatic triggers  tax increases.

The Absolute DARKEST, Most EVIL Times in United States HISTORY are Upon Us Now with a Delusional, Unhinged 71 year old ROAMING Around in OUR White House ~ Drumpf's / GOP's "Tax Cuts & Jobs ACT 2017" is nothing more than a "Trump University Style BAIT & Switch SCAM" on a National Scale ~ Corporate WELFARE Tax Cuts on STEROIDs" which if allowed to become law, will agregiously transfer even MORE of OUR Nations Wealth to "DREGs of Society" such as Walmart, Apple Computer, the Despicable Koch Brothers & YES, WEIRDO Steve Mnuchin ~

In OUR Time of X-Treme Wealth INEQUALITY, this Scheme is nothing less than ABOMINABLE, an Unforgivable SIN for which ALL who unconscionably supported this Criminal Act, will pay dearly at election time & of course when GOD calls them ~

Dems need to Threaten a "GOVERNMENT Shutdown" until Repugnantkins make "SEVERE Modifications & Amendments" to this Dreadfully Abhorrent Bill, or TRASH it all together ~ A Government Shutdown will be "Child's PLAY" compared to the "Irreversible DAMAGE" this "Wealth SHIFT Scam" will cause in the long run ~

The extreme wealth distribution was started by the Democrats in 1913 and carried on through today. It was the Income Tax with its Internal Revenue Code. That code allows the rich both left and right to acquire billions while avoiding or reducing tax

I already answered that question, you just don't read, or understand.
Acting like the court jester doesn't give you any valid argument.

Once again you are not going to like my answer.
    Yes,it is an answer.
The question you ask doesn't solve the problem, even if these Entitlements were left untouched. Their mere existence is a continuing problem.

Compare what we the people give the public servants including congress in the way of retirement and healthcare. Yes, they also have to contribute FICA taxes, but this is offset by their FERS and FEHS benefits.

While FDR and LBJ created this Ponzi scheme, it still exists today because both parties keep it alive.

SS and Medicare are not Vested benefits, they have always been at the whim of congress. Just because today million of people Depend on them doesn't mean it is a great or even good system.

Why was a donut hole put into Medicare?
Why is there a lifelong contribution to SS as long as you earn a wage? This contribution continues even after you get SS benefits, as long as you earn a wage.
Why is the SS death benefit only $255?
Why are SS benefits added to your AGI?
Last I saw, the average monthly SS benefit was about $800.

The list goes on, but I hope you get the point.
This is no longer 1935, and we are not in the great depression, and we need to have congress pick up the tab for FICA and make a new system that will benefit the young.

Both parties in congress have been tapping into the SS and Medicare Trust Funds. These funds are not setup to get enough interest to pay for the benefits of those people retiring under SS and Medicare.

What your question is doing is asking for a bandaid for FICA Entitlements, when it needs a cure.

Again the left created this system and you are blaming someone who had no part in it, nor of keeping it alive.

A better system would be to level the playing field. No special and expensive retirement and healthcare systems for government workers and congress. A new plan for people under 40 is needed. And that plan would be the same in both the public and private sector.
Those people 40 and above would continue through the existing system and any shortfalls to keep it going for them would come out of congress. After all they are the ones that have ensured their system is a Ponzi scheme. That scheme requires new blood to continue. That is why in the 1980s congress added public sector employees into the world of the Ponzi.

Del this, claim you didn't read it, and make your usual non responsive.
But, I doubt that you can refute the content of my comment.

'SS and Medicare are not Vested benefits"?  I disagree. I paid into that system since I was 12 years old.    The GOP is stealing from me what I paid into. That's wrong. How can you defend grand theft?

What facts are there behind your disagreement? Check out vesting as found in FERS and see if you find  the same thing.
Both parties have been stealing from the Ponzi Tax scheme. These are TAXes, like Obamacare.

      Please reread my comment. Thx

If the GOP really cared about working Americans more so than big donors they would do it like this:

    (1) Rather than cutting the corporate tax rate and hoping corporations increase hiring, base each company's tax rate on its rate of job creation. Companies that increase hiring would pay a lower tax rate, while companies that don’t won’t: no jobs, no tax cut.

    (2) Tie each company’s tax rate to its wage levels. Companies that pay higher wages relative to industry peers would pay a lower tax rate.

    (3) Have companies maintaining a higher percentage of their employees in the U.S. pay a lower tax rate, while companies disproportionately reducing their American workforce pay a higher rate.  -

Couldn't the house democrats make that offering?
And couldn't congress also try to reduce spending instead of increasing taxes. Or in this case, preying on the entitlements. Why did congress raise the med ded from 7.5 to 10% both parties!
