The subject of this point the issue of having children vs. being childfree. There are those who believe that those who don't have children are missing out on the most important thing in life. They contend that children are what make life worthwhile. They furthermore aver that those who are childfree are somehow selfish, even irresponsible. They see the childfree as incomplete persons. Conversely, there are those who believe that there is more to life than having children. They feel that many people who have children so do because of societal & familial pressure. They assert that one can lead a fulfilling life w/o children. Your thoughts on the matter? It is a free for all response..........
I was going to live a child free life until my daughter was conceived, lol. I am glad that I had my children (1-daughter, 1-son), but I do understand not wanting to have any. My daughter says she is never having children. I support her and will support her in the future whether she does or doesn't.
I never wanted kids because I thought I was too selfish. I found out that wasn't true, lol. Many people do not want children because they think there are enough people in the world. I think what ever you think you are entitled to your opinion. Having children is not for everyone.
