When I was 16 years old I joined a terrorist organisation and remained a terrorist for 12 years should I tell this story as a Hub.....I regret the bad things I done...should I share...True Story..
Depends on how painful it would be for you-- and certainly you should not share anything that could come back to bite you now-- but that said, it would be a fascinating read for your fellow hubbers and maybe a catharsis for you as well. I say go for it
Experiences are experiences, you should never regret. I'm sure you learned a lot.
Ok just for you habee....It will take a while but I will go and do it now....I had told myself that if one person said Yes I would share....
I don't have a problem with you posting it - but be prepared to get some nasty comments - especially from the 'society' you terrorised.
SimeyC, I am well known to that community and I have been forgiven by that community.....times have changed here now...we still have terrorists but they hav elost their power over people....
I was more talking about those not in the community....people like me who are British - although I hope you see from my comment on your Hub that I'm not anti Irish....and I wasn't nasty (I don't think anyway!).
It is great that a community can heal itself and forgive...it is important for future generations!
Thanks for that SimeyC, and dont think that I am anti British I was just using the language of the day as it were.....
SimeyC you are so correct, many thousands of people butchered to feed the egos of small men....
SimeyC, just read your comment on my Hub, very fair comment, we still have terrorists active here but they are being heavily rejected by all sides of the community.....
Robie2 to be honest I am exhausted after that, I just wrote as I remember it, I could have written for days but I think you get the idea......
Hey, Irish.. You speak like british.. So can you tell me what being Gobsmacked means?
NewYorker, I can only tell my story from what I experienced.....it is the leadership of the IRA who are now in the Northern Ireland Assembly....they are now getting their salary from the British.... so I dont think anyone really knows what taling like the Britsih is anymore
Thanks Robie2, I have just told it as it was, if that is a wrong thing to do well...I could sneak about here and say nothing about myself...but I prefer honesty....I have just posted my recipe for Irish Steak...move on

If I see an error on someone's hub, should I tell them? Or is that bad HubPages etiquette?I'm talking about a spelling error or something similar.

If you tell stories from your past, are they true? When you tell a story from your past, do you spice it up a little to make it sound better actually twisitng the truth to some degree? If so, is there still value in the story especially if you are trying to make a point?

Can anyone tell me how I change my profile name on hub pages?
by Matthew Kirk 7 years ago
I've been here for a few months now and am starting to notice some genuinely poor quality hubs, and a decent number of air headed morons using 'question' button to ask some of what they clearly believe are life's important questions: 'What if then Sun suddenly disappeared?', 'what is the best way...

Should you tell people when their hub is bad or has mistakes?I always ask at the bottom of my hubs for comments good or bad. And I have left some telling people that they've done things like used the word rod instead rode for instance. Or maybe that they could link different parts of the same story...
