Should I tell my story as a Hub

   When I was 16 years old I joined a terrorist organisation and remained a terrorist for 12 years should I tell this story as a Hub.....I regret the bad things I done...should I share...True Story..

      Depends on how painful it would be for you-- and certainly you should not share anything that could come back to bite you now-- but that said, it would be a fascinating read for your fellow hubbers and maybe a catharsis for you as well.  I say go for it

   SimeyC, I am well known to that community and I have been forgiven by that community.....times have changed here now...we still have terrorists but they hav elost their power over people....

      I was more talking about those not in the community....people like me who are British - although I hope you see from my comment on your Hub that I'm not anti Irish....and I wasn't nasty (I don't think anyway!).
      
      It is great that a community can heal itself and forgive...it is important for future generations!

      actually I didn't - quite the opposite! I think the problem was that the whole thing really was anti-government, unfortunately a lot of innocent people got harmed.

    NewYorker, I can only tell my story from what I experienced.....it is the leadership of the IRA who are now in the Northern Ireland Assembly....they are now getting their salary from the British.... so I dont think anyone really knows what taling like the Britsih is anymore
