Just because hubbers are such great people I wanted everyone to read my latest hub.
It is a tribute to the wonderful lady I married 22 years ago.
Thanks and enjoy
You can find it as my latest hub
I just read it, and left a comment--congrats on 22 years with your wife!
I didn't mention it when I commented, but your story is eerily similar to mine and my husband's...except we got married two months after we met, lol...
Our 22nd is a month after yours, though--'88 must have been a good year, huh??? I already had two children, and we had a son together, born in '89, also!
How lucky to be still in love after this many years...
I just love hearing about true Love stories hope I get to find mine one day. Congrats! and thank you for sharing your gentler side
I have written a true story, its a sad one but the comments have greatly helped the family of this poor boy. I have kept it short and to the point. Your support by commenting would be appreciated as you will see that amazingly the boys sister has seen it and now is a regular commenter below the story. I will also visit ur hubs and comment to show my gratitude.
aaaa I love reading true love stories. they are always inspirational and I am off to go read yours now.
Dale that was beautiful!!!! I hope both of you have another 25 wonderful years!
What a great tribute to your wife-Specially in a Society where divorce is the norm, 22 years is a great accomplishment!
The norm is someplace that is going backwards.
From when we first met almost everyone that we know who married got divorced and some of them two or three times.
I like to think we defied the odds and in our relationship we are above the norm.
Thanks for the comment
Thank you everyone. I could have written a million more words but for now I will stick to this.
I know there will be more hubs about my lovely wife in months to come.
Thanks for all the comments. She will love them when she gets to read the hub
Yep 22 years is an achievement, I'm halfway there at 11 years and never get tired of my mrs, er well only when she nags but don't tell anyone shhhh!
Great hub by the way.
I read it and left a comment. I'm bumping this thread so that others will have the same pleasure of reading your hub. It's a great hub Dale. I wish you and your wife all the best .
Thank you very much everyone. Every word I said about my wife I meant but still I feel I didnt portray her properly.
Like I said before I could write a book and it still wouldnt be enough.

A must read for all men out there who need to muster much courage to express their deepest emotions. Cheers Dale!
you wouldn't happen to be from Norway are you? they say Norwegians make the best hubbies!
Anyway lucky you found your princess.. very nicely written hub.
Aww Dale, that is soooo cute! I'm so glad to hear about a happy marriage story. Sometimes all you hear about are nightmares
It really is a shame how many relationships dont last these days. It really is because divorce is the easy way out.
My wife and I could have taken this route at some tough points in our marriage but to us making things work were more important and I am so glad we made the right decisions.
so nice to see a man who proudly shows his love for his wife.
thanks for sharing with us. says a lot about both of you!
There's allot to be said for a woman who can please her husband, and still happy...after 22 years! Congratulations:) It is refreshing too, to here a man talk highly about his wife. Happy Anniversary!
Amazing way to show your love!
I know it wasn't easy, but you managed! Means everything is possible in this life.
Wow, you're so lucky! And your wife is so lucky to have you. May you have more wonderful years together. God bless you.
Dale you are a lucky fellow indeed. Zena and I had 23 years 10 months and 9 days of marriage before I lost her to cancer. Done some hubs about that too... Enjoy and treasure each and every day...GBY Both

From perhaps every human perspective, advice on issues about marriage tend to have the undertone of endurance... like it's just a neccessary 'evil' we all should pass through. Of course I know many people don't stay married for long but I think many hoped to. And the emphasis on the negatives seem...

Why Should One Get Saved From Sins At An Early Age Of 22 Years When One Can Wait Until 72 Years Old?
by Kenneth Avery 7 years ago
If you do all that you can for your wife or husband and it isn't good enough, then what do you do?In the same vein as the Japanese grandmother, allow me to ask, "if you do all that you can to please your wife or husband, and that isn't good enough, then what?"
