Here is a link to an NBC/Wall Street Journal poll.  It appears President Trump's approval rating actually increased after the summit with Putin.  I wonder why?  I think liberals are out of touch with the majority of American citizens.  They are probably more in touch with illegal aliens.  I can tell you I am among many who felt liberal and media reaction to President Trump's summit in Helsinki was WAY over the top.

It is simple, the majority of people, even those who don't like Trump, are so sick of the MSM BS, the constant over the top attacks on Trump.

In addition, I think a good portion of Americans (at least 25%) realize to one degree or another that the Clintons and their 'Deep State' supporters are corrupt, and did some very wrong, very illegal things.  Between destroying her server, phones, emails, reports of Uranium sales, Russian payoffs, etc. this 25% has too much intelligence and awareness to be able to ignore it all.

And lastly, the Democrats aren't putting anyone forward that inspires and distinguishes themselves as someone to believe in.

Trump is President as much because people are sick of the lies, sick of the politicians getting rich while Middle Class Americans continue to get poorer.

There are millions that have fled states like CA and NY because of over taxation (to support a failed welfare state) as well as displacement.  So long as people have an alternative to giving up over 50% of what they earn to various local state and federal taxes they will take it, if they have any common sense.

There are a lot of things contributing to why Trump is at 45% +/- and right now, those are the reasons why he will be re-elected in 2020.

        Excellent analysis.

I've hated mass media corporations my entire adulthood. I've always felt like they've been insulting my intelligence, and pushing degeneracy on everyone.

Every time Trump attacks one of those horrid fake news media outlets I want to sing the Star Spangled Banner.

Unfortunately in America at present there are two separate realities , The actual reality and the reality of fallacious politics and arguments  morphed into the alt reality of the left . Trump's popularity is on par with Obama's or anyone else's  although it is the news media that is "stating " otherwise.

Liberals in ALL of their arguments here and in other threads can't even explain why normally believable polls to them are heavily disbelieved at this point .
I can . It's because they are choosing to live in an alternate reality .

This may be the only deal breaker for a few.

Actually, in reality, he lost about 3 points in the republican leaning Rasmussen Poll from 47% down to 44% and then gained a couple back after his disgraceful criminal act of treachery in Helsinki, that's just a simple fact: Overall, he still flounders around at about 43% which is a precise match for Jimmy Carter's rating at the same time during his tenure:

Bozo Trump loses some of his cult crazies when he stops abusing them, then gains a few of his crazies back when he takes things away from them or commits another crime: It's a predictable boring monotonous circle of the same small handful of Trump fans who go in and out with the tide:

Remember when the nincompoops were screaming that if Trump were elected he'd start world war three? Well, since he's been elected he's gone out of his way to be friendly towards North Korea and Russia, and the nincompoops are screaming 'treason.'

Trump Derangement Syndrome is very very real. Hey look, I can see one of the affected here in this thread.

N Korea has yet to de-nuke and is now demanding even MORE from Bozo Trump, if he's not imprisoned by then given his most recent act of betraying the USA, give the orange jackass in chief another few weeks and he'll be back to his insane twitter attacks threatening 'rocket man' with nuclear conflict:

Bozo's head is always exploding behind closed doors but sure enough, it will explode again on Kim Jung Un when his little inept, fragile mind finally figures out he was played like cheap home made hillbilly fiddle: Fortunately for the world, I and I'd assume many others would be shocked to discover the underlying authorities actually issued him a 'FUNCTIONAL' button given his obvious mental illnesses and allegiance to our arch enemies:

But I have no fear, he'll convince his small little group of cultees of another alternate reality:

I think part of that popularity is due to the American public not having a great deal of patience for this obvious concerted attempt by the media and paid participants in internet forums and chats to demonize every move he makes. The undertones of hatred trivialize any point they attempt to advance.

No official acts by this administration bear witness to the media frenzy attempting to claim Trump is in Putin's pocket.  Their attempt to claim he was bamboozled by Kim is asinine.  We offer an olive branch and someone dips it in doo. That doesn't make us fools. It makes us the better nation. I applaud Trump, thus far, for his olive branches.

The Marxists of the left believe they can fool all of the people. All of the time. It was a Republican (Lincoln) who told them long ago that is just not possible.
