No more OPEC control over US gas / oil prices , In August 2018 US homeland oil production broke production records 98 years old , we are now in a phase of wounding the controls over our economy not only by OPEC countries , but eliminating Moscow price controls , while OPEC is having horrible nightmares .
Obama was dead wrong , ".....You know , we can't just Drill our way to lower gas prices ....."
At Thanksgiving dinner today say "Thank You Donald Trump ".
Meanwhile Trump continues to deny the CIA assessment reported the Crown Prince ordered the murder of the journalist. He lied when he said the low fuel prices are due to Saudi Arabia as we only get 9% of our supplies from them. There's a glut on the market causing the low prices, that's all.
So why is one news media guy's life worth more than say a real American , Because the liberal anti-Trump media is keeping this story alive for selfish and political media mileage . Americans are killing near every day in foreign countries , why is this ONE man's story still alive ?
What is the US supposed to do ?
"Bombing begins tomorrow "?
This one man is more important than the others because that particular country seems to have done something no government should do.
Americans are killed near every day, maybe true, but in those cases, they are not killed by the government of the country. The murderers are treated as such by the law of the land they reside in.
If you cannot see this huge difference, you need to reanalyze all your thoughts because boy, you've got messed up priorities.
Only reason you know about this guy ? News Media .
If he worked for Exxon no one who give two craps about him , his killers or who "ordered it . By the way , since when does the left put all of it's stock into believing a CIA report , you guys generally hate all things USA government?
Nope, this is what I hate with your current government:
1. Pulling out of the Paris deal
2. Hypocrisy: Saudi not being honest is ok because they bring money into the US (according to Trump), and the jobs they bring in just keeps growing every month for the same deal. But Iran is a threat (they did nothing to be seen as a threat off late). Sanctions against Iran for no apparent reason and no country can trade with them, else they face sanctions from the US. But everyone is allowed to continue trading with the US, because Saudi is good for the US.
3. Messing with international trade, but this is something that will fix itself, it already is.
Can you be honest and ask yourself what would Trump do had this reporter been Iranian and ordered to be killed by the Iranian government (if the CIA said it). I bet there would be more sanctions without a second thought. You do not need to answer publicly.
I personally do not care about what happens within the country that is an issue you guys have to deal with. When it affects the globe that's a different story.
P.S: I do not trust the CIA, I trust the reports by the Turkish government and the fact that Canada a stable and smart government (mostly) that studied the report and saw/listened to evidence says that the Saudi explanation is not good enough.
I am not saying that Trump has to say the Crown Prince did it, there's no hard evidence yet. But they are not giving a good enough explanation and until they do, they need to be held accountable for that. The same way he would have held Iran accountable.
Have you heard about the case of the "Russian spies" in the UK? People do not give a crap about individual killings on an international stage unless the killings or attempt to murders were played at on an international level.
Being killed in a foreign country alone does not have international ramifications. It only becomes important when a head of state or a government has a role to play.
If this guy worked for Exxon and he was ordered to be killed by the King of Bhutan (because they don't like oil companies) it would be an international issue too.
No , The ONLY reason you and I know this guy is because he was a news media employee Period. I am sure that every day there is an American imprisoned or murdered in a foreign nation .
Quick fact ; Time Mag .*
2002 --2015 2,000 US citizens died by homicide overseas , # 1 place , Mexico .
You're all reacting to the news media prioritizing this one death .
Read all my replies again after clearing any thoughts you got of this thread and get back to me.
Are those homicides in Mexico committed by the Mexican government? Or is it speculated that the government had a direct hand in those murders? If yes, then they should be international news. Whenever North Korea had United State citizens as captives it was international news, even when those people were regular tourists and no one in their own country.
See the difference between these cases.
I'm not surprised that in today's international diplomatic atmosphere many of you cannot seem to grasp the idea that such instant and reactionary diplomacy isn't a normal way to act in these situations . If it takes six months , a year or two years to get to he bottom of REAL investigations , THAT is when sanctions and such are normally applied. The US doesn't act upon preliminary half truths and ideological agendas.
If the US or any nation reacted at the speed of TDS sufferers , we would be involved in a nuclear war BEFORE we fully know the details of any international occurrence. And let's face it , this isn't about this journalist , this is about any reason at all for adding to the Trump Resistance hate list .
One other important point , the middle east lives by totally different social , cultural , justice and diplomatic "norms " that the rest of the world does , How is it that all of a sudden Trump Resist Inc. knows more about all US diplomacy than the US State Dept .does?
Remember , IF Khashoggi didn't work for the WAPO , you wouldn't be in this thread defending the news media from TDS . You wouldn't even know about this "murder ", and you wouldn't be suffering from TDS yourself.
You said it yourself: "instant and reactionary diplomacy isn't a normal way to act"
But isn't this what Trump has been doing over and over again with this exception. I only pointed out hypocrisy, I never said you should act and do something. Again, go read all my previous comments.
It's not surprising that a blind follower of a single man cannot see things from any other perspective.
I just read your other thread Ed, you use the TDS retort every time you have no facts to present. And I see you brought up the Mexico thing there too, again without facts or any kind of evidence even potentially pointing to the government having a role to play in the homicides. No point conversing with someone who has blinders on.
So you either like and approve Trumps reactionary moods or you don't , which is it ? According to the leftist media The Iraq war began with such CIA reactionism .
Want to start another middle eastern crisis based on possible faulty CIA reports ?
Do you work for the news media?
Hahahaha. I am not going to comment on the weapons of mass destruction. You should do your own homework there.
And I do not like Trumps reactionary moves. Again, PLEASE READ PREVIOUS MESSAGES: All I am saying is he is a hypocrite and you are blind to that.
You need to decide what you support. Do you support Trump in everything he does just because you like him and think he's doing good? Or do you have a rational mind to be able to judge every move separately in its own right?
You have a great way of ignoring aspects you cannot argue against and picking stuff out of thin air to throw into the discussion to try and move the topic away from the original point, this is either because some part of you knows it's true and you don't want to admit it or you are just blind to the statements being made.
By the way , I use the TDS everytime that I spot it , what you TDS sufferers cannot see clearly is just how obvious TDS is in the entire personality of todays left , seriously it's like you're all wearing a costume that's painted in bumper stickers announcing it's presence.
TDS=Trump ____ Suckers is the new meaning among many these days referring to his followers.
Does he refer to Trump Derangement Syndrom, Randy? I really have no clue what he means. From your true definition of the term, I see that Ed suffers from TDS too.
ED's fun to play with Brandon, but no one takes him seriously anymore. What he means by his retort of TDS is that you're 'Too Damn Smart' for him to debate with. I get it all the time..
Haha. This is only the second time I have debated with him and both times when he had nothing to say he asked if I was American.
I wish he was TDS to see that the bigger countries and their politics have international ramifications.
Ha, ha, Randy, I wondered what TDS meant, too, now I see three good meanings. I guess we can take our choice depending on the usage?
I was weary of the constant TDS retort like it meant something other than being another Fox News insult, Miz. Pleased you liked it!
There's no sense debating with one of TDS who doesn't even know what it is , Are you an American responding from America ?
You blinded guy, read my first response. This is an international forum and the guy who leads your country is making international decisions. So, I do not have to be from America to voice my opinion.
I see that you cannot respond further and this is what you do when you have nothing to say. Peace.
Oh so you aren't American and you're also suffering TDS , Trump Derangement Syndrome , I feel bad now knowing that liberals here have spread the affliction well outside of our borders ..............
Peace to you as well .
You didn't know this? The rest of the world looks to you guys for the daily dose of sad comedy. Also, he was the only person to ever be laughed at, at the UN.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mJ1j2hNbSXI Don't miss the comments on this video too. You will see how the rest of the world sees him.
If he wasn't ruining the globe on so many fronts, it would just be funny.
No so many people in America really care about what the UN thinks anymore .......Who needs to be supporting the perfect socialism by OVER taxing the ALL providing capitalism ? Pay for your own UN sponsored defense for a change , Don't worry though , during the next" Hitler " America will come running once again .............
As far as Conservative America goes , we could get out of the UN now and it wouldn't bother us much .
Now you act as if you know what people in America think with absolutely no facts to back up you claim, ED. Are you that desperate? You really aren't the liberal deff for TDS are you?
And from the last statement, he seems to think that a country can stand on its own without having good relations with the rest of the world.
Based on the current standings, Ed can run for president and he'd win So much sense in what he speaks.
He's having a hard time realizing he actually voted for a lying, arrogant, conman and possible traitor. I think he identifies with him, Brandon....
I guess. Let me correct myself, I mean, I hope.
Funny thing is , Ed never has anything valuable to say BUT here are the usual forum trolls with the childish retorts , must be I strike a nerve at least making you think about something besides that which your party directs , No , demands that you to think ..............
I came and I have accomplished my task.

At this moment if you are watching CNN, they are showing over 10,000 people marching and protesting about Trump. If you watch Fox New, they are talking about all the great accomplishments Trump has done while being in the UK. And in the lower right corner of the screen, barely visible...

Right now it looks like Putin/Trump are in agreement about the hacking. Can this issue be addressed without being partisan? Is the future of US democracy at stake? What are Trump's advisors telling him?

I think harris lacks a lot in debate skills. She avoids questions from the press. Interviews she has done are very few. With the one national press interview done by her she was accompanied by her VP. It was taped. harris will have a difficult time answering questions...
