Should we start a new tradition? Shut down government everytime...

    Our Congress blew our annual budget. This shut down has demostrated the country is fine for at least 3 weeks.
    Let me make this simple proposal.
    If Congress spend more money than our treasury takes in in any given year like our government has for the past so many years, we should have a shut down of non essential services at the end of the year for 3 weeks. This should help tremendoesly in incentive for Congress to be better at watching and spending our money.
    The past 21 days has shown we don’t need them...
    I feel sorry for the government workers not being paid, but I feel sorry for Americans paying higher and higher taxes and not getting a better government...

          Why does our government have 700 and 500 employees attending these conferences?

          I used to work for a large corporation in the research division...
          We have many technical conferences...
          There is only a handful of us that attend these conferences.
          The people presenting a papers goes and a few colleagues goes along for support. That is typical of most public companies...
          You can get the information and go back to your company and share any relevant information with colleagues back in the office...
          Why does 700 federal employees need to attend this obsecure conference?
          I am shocked...

      I'm sure the ONLY person enjoying this insane "Trump Shut Down" of OUR government which is sabotaging the financial well being of millions of Americans and weakening our defenses against our enemies is Vladimir Putin, after all, this is exactly what Putin expected to get from a puppet after helping to installed him in our oval office:
