New York Times hit piece on decades old Trump Taxes

Well it looks like someone decided to break the law and share Trump's taxes from the 1980's and 90's to a reported who breathlessly broke the decades old news in today's rags.  It's comical since Trump already admitted years ago that he was in trouble but came back stronger than ever - he even wrote a book about his turnaround.

Everyone makes such a big deal about taxes, even though they are not part of the requirement for the office & that the IRS likely crawled up his rear every year.

Does this change anyone's vote next election?  Is there any crime committed?  Do you care or not care?  I personally would rather see how every person in DC seems to become a millionaire on a small government salary.

This shows a lot about those pushing this old news, as if the American people were not already aware of this...

They have nothing else... they have to push the garbage they have... even if it made no difference to people 3 years ago.

With the White House finally saying enough is enough, and stonewalling Congress, which they should, after an FBI investigation, Special Counsel Investigation, and all their other investigations, if they have nothing by now, too bad, so sad... wait for the results of the 2020 election, and if the people vote him back in, live with it.

When you can't find any current dirt, you go back years and start sifting.  Or decades.

Remember Kavanaugh?  Had to go clear back to college years to even find accusations and STILL found nothing concrete.

Actually I believe the alleged and uncorroborated accusation was from a high school party, which neither he nor those who were supposed to corroborate her story could recall.

The current state of D.C. politics. If you have nothing legitimate that you can destroy a person with, create something, whether its accusing them of being a Russian Agent, or of raping someone from 30+ years ago with no evidence and no witnesses of the alleged party even taking place.

My bad - I believe you are right in that it WAS high school.

I see now several states are passing laws requiring a presidential candidate to release several years of tax returns in order to be on the state ballot.  Just another tactic to keep Trump out of office, a method to take the vote from the people.  A way to change our democratic, voting process into something they find more palatable.

Truly sad that we've come to this - if I can't have my way I'll FORCE it.
