Trump sees Record High Approval even after heavy criticism over offensive tweets he published on July 14th.  Do you believe now that the Mueller investigation has concluded and the economy continues to thrive that his ratings will continue to increase?

I'm not sure what poll you mean unless it's the Republican Rasmussen poll. He still has a 90% approval among Republicans and only 33% among independents.

Adding and losing a few percentage points among Republicans each week doesn't mean anything.

lol, now that's amuzing Ken: As you publish this deceptive discussion while Robert Mueller IMPEACHES Donald live on global television, Bozo Trump's overall approval rating SINKS by about half a percent probably due to the impending Mueller Testimony and so many other of Donald's atrocities which will be catastrophic for this illegitimate oval office:

HERE in Reality, the only poll which has soon to be REMOVED and Indicted Donny Boy at around 50% is Rassmussen which appears to be a White Nationalist CONservative Heavy POLL because it's always so far out of whack with legitimate polls, and even this ridiculous poll rarely if ever gets more than a point above 50%: What does that tell you?:

So how does Rassmussen conduct their POLLS? By sending a sneaky little reporter with a pointy white hat and hood into Clan Hate Gatherings in Mississippi and asking attendees how Donny Boy is doing? lol, not too far fetched is it? irregardless, they STILL can't get above 50% consistently: Pathetic:

    Here we go.

As of July 22 2017 he is reaching new highs.

Thanks. On that poll, his approval among independents is still well below 50%, which is not nearly enough to get him re-elected.

Since polls vary somewhat with results, I suggest a better source is Real Clear Politics, which tracks all Trump polls.

I think that is an excellent idea, the average it is.

        So lets go with 44.6

The key is while the other 55.4 may not approve, does that mean that 55.4 thinks what the Democrats offer is a better option?

There are plenty of Libertarians, Moderates, etc. that may still decide to vote for Trump, or no one at all, rather than the alternative.

And the point was, that his numbers are going up, I am just curious as to why anyone would think they will go down at this time, after all the accusations and media hysteria of the last two+ years.

I'm glad we agree on the source. And I agree the other 55.4% won't necessarily approve of a Democratic candidate.

In response to your final paragraph, I will use something that I believe you have said before.

People vote for jobs. The economy is getting weaker. Trump's promise of a 4% GDP now looks like 1.6% with growing predictions of a recession next year.

If that happens, his approval ratings will drop far below what already are historical lows for a President. He will lose the election -- assuming he even gets the GOP nomination.

Even after press reports indicate Donny Boy has been is spending massive troves of money flooding social media on campaign ads, some of which I've seen and they are ODD, Whiny, BORING, Deceptive and Out Dated, he's STILL floundering in a pool of muck at about 44.6% approval because the American people already know EXACTLY what he is, a mad, mentally broke charlatan trying to KILL our HealthCARE System:

BTW: over night, CONservative Heavy Rassmussen dropped from 50% DOWN to 48%

    Jake,

Obama spent many months at or below 45% did that make him a "a mad, mentally broke, charlatan trying to KILL our HealthCARE System"?

Could you provide a press report link that "indicates Donny Boy has been spending massive troves of money flooding social media on campaign ads"?

I mean, it does seem a little odd since we are over a year away from the next election.

      Ken Aske Me:

"Obama spent many months at or below 45% did that make him a "a mad, mentally broke, charlatan trying to KILL our HealthCARE System"?"

lol, no Ken it doesn't because President Obama spent much of his precious time as president trying to PROVIDE HealthCARE to ALL Americans, he never tried to KILL HealthCARE like Bozo Trump and Communist Russian Loving Repugnantkins are trying despertely to do AS WE SPEAK !!!!:

Maybe if you and other followers of Bozo Trump fully understood this, you might flip over to the GOOD Righteous Progressive Democratic side:

That is a matter of opinion Jake, IMO Obama did not "spend much of his precious time as president trying to PROVIDE HealthCARE to ALL Americans"  the ACA made insurance unaffordable for millions more Americans than it helped.

Jake, you can't tell a person that is paying extortion to have insurance and has a $15k deductible for his family before it really covers anything that he is better off than he was prior to the ACA.

More and more people these days choose HSAs or HSPs over Insurance because many current plans out there aren't worth having, this is a result of the ACA, its government subsidies, and interference in a competitive marketplace.  Once that tax penalty was removed (by Trump) on people who did not have insurance, those people dropped their next-to-useless Insurance plans and went with alternatives, or nothing at all.

Obama spent lots of time and effort cleaning up after the last republican POTUS left us in a recession, Ken. Did you vote for Dubya?

This polling is important for several reasons.

    1. To win a second term, President Donald Trump will have to maintain his popularity with his base of support.  This has happened.  It could result in even more electoral college votes that in the first election.

    2. The Democrats will have to have a candidate that could take votes away from President Donald Trump.  This has NOT happened.  There is not a single Democrat who has inspired the Democrat base.  Not even most Democrats are inspired.  Quite the opposite has occurred.  The leftest agenda won't play well with many Americans.

    3. The rallies for President Donald Trump fills every venue where they are held.  Joe Biden struggles to get more than a few hundred people to attend when he speaks.

    4. If the economy remains good, President Donald Trump will be difficult to defeat especially considering the competition.
