I came across an interesting tidbit today - in the Alabama constitution, section 182, they list a variety of reasons to deny a person the right to vote.
It includes:
Assault and Battery on one's wife (apparently it's OK to beat the husband).
Bigamy, or living in adultery
Miscegenation (you want to vote, better marry in your own race)
Crime against nature (unspecified, but suspect that means gays)
Infamous crimes
Moral turpitude (was Alabama where "Porky's" took place?)
But the very first one was that you lose your vote if you are an idiot or insane. Could this be used to deny liberals the right to vote? (Sorry - couldn't resist! )

Lol, be careful what you wish for. Liberal eggheads are usually the ones who design the tests.
Well, it seems certain they didn't write Section 182.
GA
Oh, I wouldn't wish for such a thing - never!
I just wondered if it would be a natural result, that's all.
But did you catch the Miscegenation and moral turpitude? Those are probably worse - amazing what our ancestors pushed through their law making sometimes. The desire to control how others live is overwhelming sometimes.
Yes, and I have no doubt that future generations will look back at some of our current laws with similar amazement.
True dat! I'm sure they will.
But some of them aren't so old. From Idaho, enacted in 1990 (yes, just 20 years ago)"
18-5003. CANNIBALISM DEFINED — PUNISHMENT. (1) Any person who wilfully ingests the flesh or blood of a human being is guilty of cannibalism.
(2) It shall be an affirmative defense to a violation of the provisions of this section that the action was taken under extreme life-threatening conditions as the only apparent means of survival.
Gotta love that "affirmative defense"! Don't go near the teenager that hasn't eaten in the last 2 hours!
If no one respects election results . What difference does it make if retards can't vote? And it's meant to be off color not an insult to be mentally disabled
I don't know about the rest of your post, but I did want to comment on Moral Turpitude and Beulah Ballbricker. I saw "Porkys ", it was up there with Animal House as a fun comedy.
The scenes were to take place in Florida.
Do you remember Ms. Ballbricker lodging a complaint with the Principal over a male student "flashing" in the girl's shower room? Ms . Ballbricker s plan to identify the "offending organ" before the principal and others while these guys try to maintain a straight face was among the funniest scenes ever.
Yes, that's right - Florida.
Yeah, I remember Ballbricker asking permission to inspect for the offending organ, while stroking the principal's had. It WAS one of the funniest scenes ever. It was a funny, funny movie. And one that immediately came to mind with that "Moral Turpitude" law.
Before one is allowed to vote, they must:
A. Solve a Rubik's Cube.
B. Recite the first 10 derivatives of E=mc².

Would you support a voting boycott next election to insist politicians fix America's voting issues? We've already seen what happens when most of the country doesn't vote - but, we're still here.
