Former President Barack Obama contended that the world would be better, more humane, more conscious, & ultimately more humane if women were presidents, prime ministers, & in other powerful positions. Obama argued that women have qualities of empathy that men don't have. Obama indicated that it is men in power who caused problems & havoc in the world. Obama maintained that it is old powerful men who refuse to give up power which is the cause of major problems in the world. I, for one, totally concur w/this premise. Do you agree or disagree w/former President Obama? Why? Why not?
Yes, I mostly agree. I suspect the world would be best if men and women were equally in leadership positions throughout all of society.
I consider it to be ignorant pandering. People are people. Women should have more voice in government but they would be no better, or worse, rulers.
