   How much racism do you think President Obama's terms CREATED  rather than cured?  Did he help or hurt the overall  cause of race relations ?

      Never was enthralled w/ Obama in the least.   Former President Obama was an ineffectual president.  He concentrated on inane social justice instead of improving the economy.   An intelligent president would put economic issues over social ones, don't you think?   
      
      As a result of Obama's presidency, many Black communities were worse off than ever.  Black social pundits & others contend that President Obama did very little for Blacks in terms of improving their communities.    Under President Obama, cities like Chicago & Detroit went into the hellish pits.   President Obama wanted to be THE SOCIAL, POLITICALLY CORRECT president & look what happened to America as a result!
      
      I don't think that former President Obama made racism worse at all.  The issue was socioeconomics.  He exacerbated the nanny state in America.  He wanted a more socialistic form of government.  He even raised minimum wage, wanting a more equal distribution of income, not realizing that minimum wage was a step up, not a career plan.

         The only positive decent race related point that I can come up with for Pres. Obama  was that he assumed his  re-ignition of  racism in America would work to incite from the ground up  ,throughout the system .....an "if I ignite it it will work through the entire system much  faster ." theory .   other than that  point , I believe his intent was to symbolically ' burn the city down'  as fast and as much as he could in his possible  eight years .
         
         If so , That was his best and only accomplishment.

      Obama was a social justice warrior queen, which is to say, he was a social Marxist. He made us look weak in front of Arab and Asian leaders, and that's something which Trump will absolutely repair. He literally didn't do anything worth doing, so far as I can tell. The most vicious lie in my lifetime was Obama's assault upon Libya, which he called a 'humanitarian mission.' Today all of North Africa is destabilized, and blacks are sold as slaves for around four hundred dollars. What an awful man.

         Obama did admit that Libya was his biggest mistake, for what it is worth, not a single dime.  Hillary was his Secretary of State, who laughed and joked, "We came, we saw, he died," when told the report (on camera) of Qaddafi's cruel death.  Such a cold heart.
         
         Libya would be just fine if Qaddafi was still alive.  But, the U.S. wanted the gold, and allowed the rise of radical extremists in Libya.  Millions have been killed.
         
         It is true that the black slave trade is ongoing in Libya, evil human trafficking.  Nothing new.
         
         The President of Africa stepped up to take actions to protect their citizens, after being called out on social media.  Last report I read they had rescued over 400 people that were returned to Africa, but how many have been lost...and may never be returned home.  Very sad.

      Let me make it clear, race relations in America have never really been good. There are just times when for a brief period, one slice of time is less contentious than another.
      
      "Good Race Relations" for the rightwinged white folks is where minorities take the inequitities and injustices and keep quiet about them? This is similar to all the NFL kneeling brohaha? Well, if that is your idea of improvement, I have a beachfront property in Colorado to sell you. And, you would probably buy it. America is still a place of racial contention, Obama or not, it always has been. So, ultimately, if we cannot have peace, neither will you. And from the correspondence and assessing the attitudes of so many on the Right, I am not encouraged about a change in this anytime within this century. So, there is my idea of great race relations.
      
      I think that GOP economic policy is just so much bunk, promoting a natural oligarchy or plutocracy. So, to try to bring Obama down in regards to that is just so much BullS***. What did Obama inherit from GW Bush?  Just like a earlier poster said, Trump is riding on economic improvement that resulted from Obama, since obviously the dirty GOP trickle down theories were an abject failure.
      
      So, what has Trump done to improve things? NOTHING!!!
      
      I so dislike having to be the wet blanket and so dour over the coming holidays. But, I am here to educate you and your rightwing buddies.

               What did he spend it on, horse? He saved several auto industries and many more companies the jobs they provided for many Americans and their families. Do you even know what a mess Dubya left Obama? And you were more than likely a Dubya supporter back then. If you're worrying so much about the National Debt then are you for the Tax bill which evey economist says will add a least a trillion dollars to the debt? If not, why?

                        Math lesson one  1+1 =2    , 2 - 1 = 1 which is less than  the original 2  ?
                        That is the extent of a tax cut , tax cuts equal less taxes . They don't cost anybody anything , Next week  lesson  number 2--- will be what happens in an equation over 2.
                        
                        I know tax cuts, cut into your liberal  gimme entitlements but ,  maybe it's time to work on acquiring an income  rather than rely on others .

                           The majority of the tax cuts go to the ultra rich, horse. They already have enough money to expand businesses which hire more people.                                     And yes, you are mistaken as to the reason they came.  Some to escape religious persecution (so that they could persecute others), some came as a business venture, some came involuntarily and populated a penal colony.  Some came as slaves  Precious few of the poor had the resources to escape that poverty.

                                       Yes, a refusal to answer says a lot. I've dealt with big tobacco as a farmer for many years. Like many huge industries, they set the prices among themselves and only pay a few cents above the govt support price and none will go over. It's the same among the big poultry producers, Sanderson, Tyson, etc. When big business colludes they cause the smaller producers to go out of business because they cannot compete.
                                       
                                       It's the same for other industries as well. How do we keep this from happening, Dan. When all of the money is controlled by a few--as is becoming the case even now--will you be satisfied?

                                          Those who believe that the top one percent stole it all from the bottom , are  blind to realization that the bottom ten percent didn't have it to to be stolen to begin with  ?    Those WITHIN  the top one percent change places as upwards or downwards as the bottom percentage .
                                          Nobody steals wealth or acquires poverty , it's all simply earned or lost .

      It will never end.  They are on an endless loop of Obama, Hillary, fake news.  We have tried.  As Randy said, let them squeal.  We can try to have discussions without them.  I stopped posting here once before because of them, came back when I noticed their absence, have been struggling to maintain reasonable discussions since then.  Ignore, ignore, ignore.  That is how I am going to handle it.
