To Republicans & Conservatives only, what have the Democratic Party done for America?
By my standards, the same thing that conservatives do. They all serve personal interests and try to balance that with the image that they are helping America as a whole. The only difference being in the image they choose to represent, which is usually something "for the kids" or "underprivileged" as they engorge themselves and offer the scraps to their dogs over those struggling.
Now if we want to get historical, technically they were conservative but only labeled democrats, they helped to free the slaves and all other kinds of "progressive" endeavors.
