The Republican Party's and Conservative's Pride

I have been following up on many events in the political world recently and I have been seeing a trend, not just in the year 2020 but throughout history. This trend is that the Republican Party has prided itself in being the best party for America. In addition, the Conservatives in government and society have stated that they know what's best for everyone when it comes to putting less emphasis on Civil Rights and regulating whether abortion should be legal or not. They also do not shy away from taking shots at the Democratic Party or the Liberals in society because they label them as too radical. However, the Republican Party is not perfect nor will it ever be perfect.

I will admit, as a Liberal Democrat, I acknowledge that my party is the party that advocated for the right to own slaves and had Presidents like Andrew Jackson who called for the complete extermination of Native Americans in the nation. My party has flaws, but the Republican Party should not talk down to the Democratic Party as if it is any better. Republican Presidents have almost all had some kind of racist agenda. President Lincoln, called for the hanging of Native American Chiefs on the false claim that they killed a white family and when he wrote the Civil Rights Act, he denied Native Americans protection from this law. President Theodore Roosevelt, created the Gentleman's Act of 1907 which banned any and all Japanese immigration to the US because the Republican Party does not support immigration and claimed Asians to be "too different and unAmerican." President Herbert Hoover, did nothing as the US fell into the Great Depression and even stated he would do nothing because "if American's can get themselves into a Depression, then they can get themselves out of one." President Reagan, allowed the AIDS epidemic to sweep the nation and created an economic system that gave more money to the rich and did nothing to help those in poverty. He also supported the anti-LGBTQ+ movement and made the LGBTQ+ community a group of sinners.

While I acknowledge the fact that the Democratic Party has flaws, Republicans should acknowledge the flaws of their own party as well. We have a Republican president in office who can't take the slightest bit of criticism and reacts as if he were a 5- year old boy. We have a Republican President who works against Communities of Color and the LGBTQ+ community. We have a Republican President who did not believe COVID was real until it caused the death of thousands of Americans, yet he still wants to reopen and "go back to normal" as if it is not still around. So to any and all Republicans, before you attack Democrats and Liberals, take a good look about what your own party has allowed to happen.

... why do you take a defensive stance?

An opinion is just an opinion. Everybody has one. What's it to you?
    It's just THEIR opinion.

Some people want to label white privileged women who speak their minds in public "Karen."
    What's that to me?

Will I let their label/opinion stop me from bursting out with conservative truths in public whenever I see fit?
    NO!

The democrat party is being led astray by the deep state left. I do not talk down to you. I pity you. I pity you that you do not realize it
and make a united effort, (with other democrats) to change the course away from the weight and downward pull of heavy, heavy Marxism.

How in the world did AOCortez get reelected recently?

    COME ON!!!
