Do any of you write counter-articles as a strict niche writing style?

    My most recent article was a semi-counter to an article I stumbled upon here on HubPages. This is the second such time I've used someone else's article as a launching point for my own ideas, and the thoughts don't really flow that freely. However, counter-articles seem like a really good idea to me.

    So I was wondering, who here writes or knows of authors who write nothing but counter-articles? In this day and age of fact-checkers using obscure details to call entire articles false like we regularly see on social media sites like Facebook, I was thinking there must be some authors I can observe who do nothing but counter people.

    Also, what is your take on so-called fact-checkers using one facet of an article or informational piece to discredit an entire, mostly-factual presentation?
