CDC New Considerations for who should get tested for COVID
People who have symptoms of COVID-19
People who have had close contact (within 6 feet of an infected person for at least 15 minutes) with someone with confirmed COVID-19
People who have been asked or referred to get testing by their healthcare provider, local external icon or state health department"
CDC's Explanation of why they have updated COVID test guidelines. --- "Not everyone needs to be tested. If you do get tested, you should self-quarantine/isolate at home pending test results and follow the advice of your health care provider or a public health professional."

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) now says asymptomatic people no longer need to get tested for the COVID and added a quiet change recently made a change on the CDC website in regard to the new COVID testing guideline.recommendation
In Michigan where I live, we have been conducted from 39 to 40 thousand COVID tests per day. Now with the CDC has new test guidelines I would guess we will be cutting that number down, and our case infections will drop, as the death toll has dropped over the past month and a half.
Seem's like once again the CDC
has flip flopped on testing guidelines? Thoughts---
Sounds political, from the CDC, to me. But then what isn't, today?
Not sure this is political but the science of the numbers, and due to an increase in testing and decrease in the death toll, maybe showing that the need to test so many is unnecessary. Plus, one can test, and be negative and conceivably contract the virus the same day they leave the testing venue. The numbers on the spread are also down in most states. We have a few states that are not doing as good as should be. In the end, I think the death toll could be the number that could be used as a political chip, not the testing number at this point. The Dem's are depending on that death toll to make claims Trump did not do a good job handling the virus. While Trump could use the fact the death tolls are down due to his response to the virus. Makes one wonder how either should be using this once in a hundred-year virus...
I am hoping to hear something the task force on why the CDC has set new guidelines on testing. Michigan has continued to test as they did before the guidelines. It still is up to the Gov to determine the testing they feel will benefit their state.
This CDC and Prevention new guidelines is welcome. But it is best every person get tested first. This to detect potential carries and spreaders.

Hospitals are paid more for Covid 19 patients“So, hospitals get an extra $13,000 if they diagnose a death as COVID-19,” a widely shared meme on Facebook claimed. “And an additional $39,000 if they use a ventilator!” One post of the meme, shared by hundreds, was captioned: “And then we wonder why...

Do you feel welfare recipients should be drug tested? If so, why?Clearly from the image below, I'm personally against drug testing for welfare. In fact, I can't think of one good reason to support it. I'm not looking to debate anyone, I'm interested in hearing other opinions on this, especially if...
