For Conservatives only, will America become better or worse under a Biden presidency?

My gut tells me it will mimic the Carter presidency. A guy who is perceived by many as a nice guy, whose pessimistic outlook will negatively effect the economy.

Agreed. I also think it would be the pendulum that swing too hard left that wake up the whole country. America was never a progressive country by majority. In fact, the silent majority is mostly conservative on a host of issues. Biden, will be like Obama and push too hard to the left with disastrous results. Our country will survive it. It always does.  The next mid-term election will swing back.

Well, you asked for an opinion --- It will become stagnate, unorganized, and lots of crazy... Need I go on.

I'll be a fiscal conservative for this one.  The stock market is really overvalued at this point, and with all the money the Fed pumped into the economy, we're looking at a sharp downturn - at no fault of Biden's.

But if Biden can get things moving with getting the country vaccinated, perhaps small businesses can get up and going again and that can offset the retraction many economists are predicting in the stock market.

In speaking to Jack's point, Biden may go left on climate, but he'll be fairly moderate on most everything else.  That will appease the Bernie wing of the Democrats and allow him to work across the aisle to get things moving for all Americans, not just be so inflexible to say, 'my way or the highway.'  His plan to offer a public option to healthcare, while also preserving private insurance sounds like it could benefit liberal and conservatives alike.

What the GOP only wants to tackle when a Democrat is in the office is the debt and deficit.  And the reason why I would have voted for Kasich over H Clinton was that I thought he could run an efficient government from a budget standpoint.  The country is in long need of someone like a Bill Clinton from that standpoint, who left office with a surplus.  Biden is definitely not that guy, and beyond Rand Paul, it's hard to find many from the right either.

These are not going to be happy times for America with Joe Biden at the head. Somehow this man does not inspire confidence and I hope he can complete his term because the alternative of Kamala Harris is even more terrible.

I hope the Democrats win a majority in the Senate. Here is the thinking. Over the next two years, they will have unfettered access to power. Once the American public see what they intend to do with the country...and actually pass legislation to achieve them, they will revolt and throw all of them out in two years. Happy New Year!
