      By that same standard anything pagan, or even Christian/Judaic, and many more symbols are also NAZI symbols. Let's just ban symbolism and avoid these altogether. What a joke, lol.

         Hinduism still uses the Swastika much like many other cultures. It is unfair to ban symbolism based on what it was used for before unless they stand for the same wrongdoing, in that case, one must learn from history.
         
         As Valeant says, is it intentional or just stupidity? The rune on its own would be fine, but the colours chosen match the colours around the Nazi Swastika too. Let's not forget that this was a call to nationalism, much like that of the Nazis.
         
         Banning symbolism is a joke, but ignoring historical parallels would also be a joke.

      I have to sort of agree with you. While the symbols the nazis used were just "pagan" (from other religions) (like the swastika for instance) these people use symbols for nefarious purposes, perverting their original meanings. Having them upside down, backwards, or just having them in the wrong context. It is a form of magic. And it probably works.

         Though magic exists, that all depends on your definition of it. I've cursed and blessed many individuals over the course of my short life, and magic works without a doubt, but this magic doesn't seem like anything more than marketing magic.

            After pondering and reading I feel it is not intentional or a Freudian slip. What I find interesting is it was highlighted by the change in color of carpeting. What I found odd was the stage was not square to the audience as is typical. Snopes says essentially 'undetermined'.

               Could have they used this setup to have more space, as well as more, are seated surrounding the stage on three sides to offer a more a closer view?  This kind of crap shows the sad side of many in our society. Come On...
               I have been watching CPAC and being a Conservative find it refreshing. The majority of the speakers spoke about Conservative values, and where we go from here. Highlighting Conservatives believe in personal responsibility, limited government, free markets, individual liberty, traditional American values, and a strong national defense. Believe the role of government should be to provide people the freedom necessary to pursue their own goals. Conservative policies generally emphasize the empowerment of the individual to solve problems, and not rely on the Government to babysit one's life, and offer blanketed solutions.

      Yes that's my reaction too. I don't believe designers are stupid though..With elections, everything is thought through. The font, the colours, the logo, the stage set, the lightning, the wording...
      So, probably it's intentional.
      For a start, it started a conversation, something they probably wanted us to have. Another tweet-worthy topic. So Yes, I go for intentional.

   Someday, hopefully in the not too distant future, the left's obsession with demonizing their opponents with conspiracy theories will cease.
   
   It won't be too soon for me. If there is a symbol there is no doubt in my mind whoever choose it and/or approved it had no idea there was any similarity.
   
   And, having clicked on one of your links, someone needs to get glasses. The symbol you think you see isn't there.

               I'll be honest. I have no idea who that guy is, so I won't comment on him. I will say we are so polarized at the moment that ridiculous accusations are thrown out, daily, by our press for the purpose of obtaining clicks.
               
               I hear so many anti Semitic comments on the left, but they aren't called 'nazis'. So if he is being labeled a neo Nazi due to anti semitism I'd probably not agree with the label. If he claims to be a neo Nazi....shame on him.
               
               We have got to stop demonizing anyone who does not pander to our personal beliefs. It's like with Trump. People need to stop demonizing anyone who supported many of his policies and listen. We cannot solve problems by ignoring valid concerns.
               
               A large percentage of our population feels disenfranchised. No one is listening. What they do listen to is a minority of the population who have nothing better to do but reenact the movie 'Mean Girls' on Twitter.
               
               If people don't start respecting each other, start listening without throwing ignorant conspiracy theories around and genuinely attempt to see where the other side is coming from this will not get better.
               
               The OP has offered nothing but an ill thought attempt to sow discord with a foolish conspiracy theory.

      Maybe someday I will be educated enough to appreciate this kind of art.
