Has the GOP Just Become a Group That Wants Political Terrorism?

According to John Boehner, some in the GOP have become political terrorists.  In his words, they are people "...who spent more time tearing things apart -- never building anything, never putting anything together,” he said.

Was there not just a perfect example of this with the latest stimulus package?  When nearly 60% of their own party approved of the bill, yet not a single one could bring themselves to vote for it.

Who needs foreign enemies when we have a whole political party working against our own country making progress on our problems?  Not only working against it, but violently attacking it when they don't get their own way or passing laws to hurt those that take a stand against their anti-democratic stances.

And it's not just a few people noticing the dangers that the current GOP pose to the country.  It's a lot of people:

Who needs foreign enemies when we have a whole political party working against our own country making progress on our problems? In y view that would be a political party that hopes to do away with the Constitution, and hope to usher in a socialist party.  At this point, they call themselves the Democrat party.  I am thankful we have the Republican party standing in the way of all their socialist handouts to feed a base that clearly is clearly wacky.

I thought at first the OP was a little tongue-in-cheek as Biden tears down everything Trump built or improved, beginning with the improvements at the border and trade policies.

Or we can look at an "infrastructure" package...which was designed to waste $5 for every dollar spent on infrastructure in the efforts to promote Democrat policies.  It was nothing more than a political ploy to get what they wanted by building those massive socialist programs into something the country desperately needs (not unusual in our governmental process today and not limited to Democrats).

But I don't think so - the OP truly does seem to believe that Democrats aren't about tearing down the successes of Trump and/or Republicans.  I don't know how to respond to that except to say that TDS is alive and well.

JOe's infrastructure bill is in my view the worse bill I have ever witnessed. It will take the country down a path of failure, It does nothing but support poverty, not inspire growth. It will deepen the racial divide in the end due to Biden going backward instead of forward.  It could most likely denature our dollar eventually.  I have not one doubt at this point that the Democratic party has a speedy strategy to usher in a form of socialism with this sock puppet.

I regard to TDS, no cure on the horizon. Absolutely no help for many that caught this debilitating phycological disease.  They totally can't accept facts. Like Old Joe stated --- "We believe truth, not facts".

The old socialism claims.  You people really do need some new things to be afraid of.  That one is pretty pathetic.  At least you have brown people to be afraid of still.

Why's that odd to fight against your kind of xenophobia?  Where you claim to blame China for the virus as more Chinese Americans are being violently attacked.  Your brand of spreading hate adds to the danger that many friends of mine currently feel.

It appears that it's you guys that are in denial about your TDS (Trump Demagogue Syndrome) as my OP didn't mention him at all.

"Was there not just a perfect example of this with the latest stimulus package?  When nearly 60% of their own party approved of the bill, yet not a single one could bring themselves to vote for it."

You do realize the polls ask specific questions, and that is what the public responds to. In this case, most pollers ask simply if the citizen was for the COVID relief package.  None asking  -- Do you know what's in the bill other than COVID relief spending?

"Would you approve or disapprove of Congress passing an additional economic relief package that would provide FUNDS to people and businesses impacted by the coronavirus outbreak?" In response, 70% of Republicans said they approved, while 95% of Democrats approved.
        NOTE THE QUESTION ---

The question did not include the $1.9 trillion price tag, or mention Biden’s name. A subsequent question asked respondents if they think the economic relief package is "too much," "not enough" or "about the right amount." Among Republicans, 38% said the package is too much, while 27% said not enough and 34% said about the right amount.

Now consider Congresses job to represent the people. It is up to Congress to read the bill before approving it with a vote. One would need to assume Congressmen and women would read the bill and represent its constituents as they were hired to do.

In this case, the Stimulus bill was full of dangling pork fat.  I was proud to see the Republicans not support such a bill.  But I did my best to skim the bill, and become a bit educated in what was in it.

So, according to your own data, 61% of the GOP said it was either just right or should have been more.  Seems that you are in the minority of the 38% that saw too much fat, even after the specifics were listed and most was shown to either help the economy or to fight the virus.  Which often seems to be the case, that there are a few of you at this site who respond to every thing anyone posts because of the retirement boredom, but you represent a vast majority of Americans.  But you feel if you shout it loud and repeatedly (often saying the same ridiculous stuff over, and over, and over again) that it must be reality.

          News flash.  It's not.

First not sure where you feel I would take your opinion as a minority opinion. You are correct it does seem one needs to be repetitive with information. Some just can't comprehend facts well, and actually, it's sort of fun to keep supplying facts over, and over.  I have been lucky enough to retire many years ago, and I have been able to enjoy years of freedom. I consider myself blessed.

Not sure why you seem to have so much free time to hang around here, sadly I can guess due to tell-tale signs.

First, not sure you even understood my post about majority versus minority.  Which often happens here, that I write something that you cannot comprehend.

And feel free to embarrass yourself with guesses about why I can find time to post here.  Your tell-tale signs would be about as accurate as all those facts you claim to have.
