Pay For Art To Play  Or Just Pay For Play...
"Obama’s ex-White House ethics chief calls Biden artwork arrangement 'perfect mechanism for funneling bribes"

"The White House said Hunter Biden 'has the right to pursue an artistic career just like any child of a president has the right to pursue a career."

"Former President Barack Obama’s ethics chief Walter Shaub is slamming a White House arrangement that would allow the president’s son Hunter Biden to sell his expensive artwork to anonymous buyers and with no disclosure to the public – a deal Shaub derided as a "perfect mechanism for funneling bribes."

Shaub first responded to the White House’s announcement on the deal Thursday, writing in a lengthy Twitter thread that the Biden administration is trying to "make sure we will never know" who the buyers are.

So instead of disclosing who is paying outrageous sums for Hunter Biden’s artwork so that we could monitor whether the purchasers are gaining access to government, the WH tried to make sure we will never know who they are," Shaub wrote while linking to the Washington Post's report. "That’s very disappointing."

Shaub doubled down on Friday, saying that the younger Biden’s new artwork career has "just got the absolute appearance that he’s profiting off of his father’s fame."

"He’s not selling under a pseudonym. He’s not waiting until his father is out of office. He’s not selling at any price comparable to what other first-time artists are selling," Shaub said in a recent interview."  Read more  ---   https://www.foxnews.com/politics/obamas … ing-bribes

In my view Hunter is a grifter, he goes from one scam to another.

Is Hunter putting Joe Biden in a compromising position once again?

Is Joe Biden already in a compromising position due to Hunter's deals with China, Russia, Ukraine, and Mexico, and who knows what other counties?

Not sure why the media is not up in arms in regard to Hunter's new career. They tracked every move of Trump's children. All that had held long-time legitimate jobs.

Sorry, Sarlee, but if I were either a buyer or Hunter I would not disclose the purchasers either.  Not in today's climate of investigation anyone remotely connected to a politician that isn't universally liked (meaning all of them).  Democrats started down that insane path and Republicans are happy to follow - the result is that anyone elected president will very likely ruin the lives of anyone connected to them.

I see your point. So, are you suggesting we just look the other way when it comes to Hunter Biden?  In a way what does it really matter, I mean one would be naive to think backroom deals are not done with presidents and their families.  Just feel this kind of BS does compromise America when presidents do backroom deals with foreign nations. Pay for play or blackmail could get sticky.

IMO --  I think Hunter is a  sideshow in  Joe's Carnaval that pulls in money for the "family".

Hunter is too close to the president to suffer any consequences anyway - none of the top tier ever do.

The son of a president is not an official position. What do you want to do, impeach him? He doesn't hold any office and therefore his actions are not inherently political just because of who his parents are. When scrutinizing certain actions by Trump's children, it is also not the same thing because they are making political statements, partaking in political campaigns, and trying to run for office in some cases.

OH THIS IS ABSOLUTELY RICH... TELL ME MORE ABOUT TRUMP'S CRYPTO SCHEME!

Again, Trump has a business he has had for decades. Hunter not so much. Trump has broken no laws regarding selling items or getting into Crypto. Crypto is the future. Maybe get back to me if he is charged regarding his business ventures.  Otherwise, your concern looks a bit odd.

How is his crypto scheme not a mechanism for funneling bribes, when it's all anonymous mind you, but anything to do with the Bidens certainly was??? And Trump's crypto foray is recent.  Years ago he called crypto a scheme LOL...
Like I said previously, all of the reasoning given, all of the criteria for the Biden investigations apply 100% to Trump.... Actually word for word from most Maga posters here. Not sure why we needed to go to Great lengths to discover if anything shady was happening with the bidens but we're supposed to quickly turn away from anything Trump.

So with the previous logic applied here, Hunter would have been a okay where he involved in a crypto scheme rather than art??

Let me remind folks, we have absolutely no idea who is packing Trump's crypto business... And let me guess... It doesn't matter.

You certainly captured all my fears with this Meme. Could not have written 500 words that could have pinpointed possible the problems Hunter poses with his hidden deals. He goes from one scam to the next very quickly. He is bold.

Yes, as many of us did in the third grade. No really, I almost fell off my chair when I heard Hunter was straw painting.  I can remember doing this in about the third grade.
