Washington Post columnist warns Biden is about to make a blunder with China
The columnist warned that it would be “irresponsible” and a “huge political loser” if Biden abandons Trump’s China tariffs.

The Washington Post published an op-ed on Thursday warning that President Biden’s consideration of removing President Trump’s China tariffs would be a significant error.

The article, titled "Biden might be on the verge of making a blunder with China," warned that it would be "irresponsible" and a "huge political loser" for the Biden administration to abandon Trump’s China tariffs.

"The goal of President Biden’s five-day trip to South Korea and Japan is to show that the United States is committed to the region and to standing up to China," columnist Josh Rogin wrote.

"But some U.S. officials and business interests are calling on Biden to give Beijing a huge, unearned economic concession, claiming it will help the U.S. economy. Such a step would be a mistake politically, economically and for U.S.-China relations," Rogin continued. "Given the dire effects of price increases on Biden’s poll numbers at home, it’s little wonder the president is looking for ways to address the inflation crisis."

Rogin said the Biden administration is facing pressure from the officials at the Treasury Department, Wall Street, and the business community to remove the tariffs. However, national security officials worry that would give away too much leverage to China.

"The internal administration battle has now spilled out into public view, with the Treasury Department in favor of removing some tariffs, and parts of the National Security Council and the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative opposed. Biden is expected to decide soon."

Rogin writes that Trump's tariffs are not a cause of inflation, pointing to data from the Bureau of Economic Analysis.

"The internal administration battle has now spilled out into public view, with the Treasury Department in favor of removing some tariffs, and parts of the National Security Council and the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative opposed. Biden is expected to decide soon," he wrote. "Data from the Bureau of Economic Analysis supports the argument that removing some of these tariffs would have little, if any, measurable effect on inflation. The benefits to consumers are illusory."

With Biden going to Asia to promote economic relations with countries in the region, Rogin says Biden lifting the tariffs on China now "sends exactly the wrong message to the region at exactly the wrong time."

Rogin equates lifting tariffs on China to "surrendering on fighting China’s unfair economic practices".

Rogin criticized Biden for potentially breaking "his previous promise not to unilaterally lift tariffs unless China’s behavior improved."

"As China’s economy struggles under the erratic policies of its dictatorial government, Washington should be helping U.S. companies get out of China, not helping them to get in. We should do more to confront China’s economic aggression, not less," he wrote. "The good news: There’s still time for Biden to avoid this penny-wise, pound-foolish idea."

After becoming President Biden was quick to lift Trump's sanctions on Nord Stream 2  Russian pipeline:
20 May 2021  --   The Biden administration has waived sanctions on a company building a controversial gas pipeline between Russia and Germany.

The US also lifted sanctions on the executive - an ally of Russia's Vladimir Putin - who leads the firm behind the Nord Stream 2 project.

The move came in a report on Russian sanctions delivered to Congress by the Department of State.

Critics say the pipeline is a major geopolitical prize for the Kremlin.

The project, which would take gas from the Russian Arctic under the Baltic Sea to Germany, is already more than 95% complete when Trump sanctions were initiated.

Will Biden jump feet first into another blunder by lifting the Trump sanctions on China?

Opinion, do you feel if Biden lifts sanctions on China it will make inflation worse, and ultimately favor China's economy?

Every US Dollar China gained from our imbalanced trade with Communist China is another massive project in Africa and Asia that the aspiring governments there cannot afford to pay back even with the natural resources China covets. China is buying its world influence, and for too long a time America has provided the cash that buys their influence and domination of third world countries. That's not to mention the bribes it pays to those who approve such projects.

One has to remember, from warren Buffett to Goldman Sachs, the largest wealthiest firms in America have poured fortunes into China.

On top of that many international corporations, from Apple to GM are heavily dependant on China.

Until those financial institutions and international corporations pull out of China and reinvest themselves somewhere else, there is not a lot that the American government can do...

There is no Politician that is going to come along and put America first.  There is no one that wealthy or powerful, they destroyed Trump for his efforts to move business and investments back to America.... They will do so to anyone else who attempts it as well.

The people controlling our politicians and our trade agreements are beyond the concerns of average Americans.

Yeah, Joe --- Keep tweaking China's nose... DID THIS MAN JUST SAY IF WE NEED TO WE WILL GO TO WAR WITH CHINA?  Unfortunately, he did!

"Biden Says U.S. Military Would Defend Taiwan if China Invaded

President Joe Biden said Monday that the United States would be willing to intervene militarily if China were to invade the self-governing island of Taiwan, again sowing confusion over American policy in the region.

Speaking during a news conference in Tokyo alongside Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, Biden said Beijing was already “flirting with danger” with its recent military drills and other aggression toward Taiwan, which China views as its own territory.

The question came up in the context of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

“You didn’t want to get involved in the Ukraine conflict militarily for obvious reasons,” a reporter asked. “Are you willing to get involved militarily to defend Taiwan if it comes to that?”

    “Yes,” Biden responded.

“That’s the commitment we made,” he added."

The White House quickly walked his statement back. So, who the hell do we believe, and why the hell is this president not being more careful with his words?

My God, Biden, is dangerous to America, time for Congress to remove him.

We are facing him getting us into a WAR with China. And if we find ourselves in a war with China, we need someone that is  "all There", not a man that is clearly having cognitive problems.

      Here is the interesting thing.

All the things the Left-wing MSM harassed Americans with for 4+ years during Trump:
He is going to start WWIII
He is going to invoke Martial Law
He is going to destroy the economy

Biden is the one that will actually make those things coming true, it may seem like we have suffered four years of Biden already, but he still has more than two years left to finish making the world more miserable than it has been in living memory... and I am confident he and his handlers will do so.
