Everyone cares so much about solving the problems of other countries.

    ... well, Good!

    Right?

"China frequently provides low-interest loans to nations who rely on commodities, such as oil or mineral resources, as collateral. In these cases, the recipient nations usually suffer from low credit ratings and have great difficulty obtaining funding from the international financial market; China makes financing relatively available—with certain conditions."

" ... Much Chinese financing to Africa is associated with securing the continent’s natural resources. Using what is sometimes characterized as the “Angola Model,” Chinas frequently provides low-interest loans to nations who rely on commodities, such as oil or mineral resources, as collateral. In these cases, the recipient nations usually suffer from low credit ratings and have great difficulty obtaining funding from the international financial market; China makes financing relatively available—with certain conditions."

"Then on October 15, supervisors at the Chinese-owned Collum mine in Zambia, southern Africa, shot and wounded at least 11 workers during a dispute – showing that Chinese investment in mining in Africa can create serious labour-relations issues, as well as environmental problems."

    Background
"In the West, international development has come to be associated with governments, multilateral lenders, and NGOs in wealthy countries providing development assistance to poor countries. But for China, development is not primarily about aid. Instead, Chinese approaches to development are based on the country’s own headlong drive in the post-Mao years to achieve high growth and improve material living standards.

    ALSO:
"China has widened the gap on the United States in trade terms in large swathes of Latin America since U.S. President Joe Biden came into office early last year, data show, underscoring how Washington is being pushed onto the back foot in the region.

An exclusive Reuters analysis of U.N. trade data from 2015-2021 shows that outside of Mexico, the top U.S. trade partner, China has overtaken the United States in Latin America and widened the gap last year."

    ALSO:
"China's support for Russia's war in Ukraine is complicating U.S.-Chinese relations at a time when they are already beset by rifts and enmity over numerous other issues, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken told his Chinese counterpart on Saturday.

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi blamed the U.S. for the downturn in relations and said that American policy has been derailed by what he called a misperception of China as a threat.

"Many people believe that the United States is suffering from a China-phobia," he said, according to a Chinese statement. "If such threat-expansion is allowed to grow, U.S. policy toward China will be a dead end with no way out."

G7 warn of Ukraine grain crisis, ask China not to aid Russia."

All valid points and I feel this current administration policy are watering a poison seed --- China.

However, it is clear we are being led to look here, not there. The media as well as this administration are obsessed with continuing their obsession with Trump and pushing flaky far-left ideologies. We are speeding toward serious problems with China.

China has the world's best strategy to connect other countries, they don't publicise their efforts as other super powers do.

Why do the other countries fall for it?
They shouldn't. They should know that China has ulterior motives.
