"The Constitution, through the Fourth Amendment, protects people from unreasonable searches and seizures by the government. The Fourth Amendment, however, is not a guarantee against all searches and seizures, but only those that are deemed unreasonable under the law."
"Taking to his social media account on Truth Social, Donald Trump hinted that a big response is pending.
"A major motion pertaining to the Fourth Amendment will soon be filed concerning the illegal Break-In of my home, Mar-a-Lago, right before the ever-important Mid-Term Elections. My rights, together with the rights of all Americans, have been violated at a level rarely seen before in our Country. Remember, they even spied on my campaign. The greatest Witch Hunt in USA history has been going on for six years, with no consequences to the scammers. It should not be allowed to continue!" Donald Trump
Former President Trump's legal counsel said on the Mark Levin Show that he's preparing to file a Fourth Amendment-related legal challenge "very soon" against the Department of Justice in relation to the Mar-a-Lago raid.
James Trusty, a former federal prosecutor, said that Trump's legal team is going to "weigh in very strong and very hard," stating that they are going to be "attacking" the search warrant used in the FBI's raid on the former president's Florida estate.
"It should be something that gets publicly filed. So the whole United States will get to read this thing," Trusty said regarding the action the former president will take. As for the timing of the move, Trusty said Monday is a "possibility" but added, "it's probably going to be more like hours."
"It's coming very soon," he said.
My thoughts --- Well, this is one way we will all see the affidavit. The document will need to be outed by the DOJ to show the cause of the raid. Looks like Trump is not willing to drag on with yet another investigation. And well, using the 4th could quickly get him before the Supreme Court, in my view.
It is clear Trump is pushing back, and pushing back hard. I must say he found another way to skin the cat.
I mean the Democrats have well overplayed the "let's have an investigation on our opponent card before an election". The Jan 6th investigation was a farce, with no bang for the buck. So, they move to a new one. Yes, documents were taken from the White House. However, It well appears Trump was cooperating with the Archives as well as the FBI, and DOJ on getting the documents they wanted back to them. I always have admired how Trump solves problems. In my view, he hopes to bring transparency to this latest investigation and fast.
He certainly does not seem to be fearful of what he will upturn.
So, what are your thoughts, hope you will share. I mean it's a bit fun to speculate, and predict where this will all end up.
Talk about unreasonable searches and seizures, the Right certainly ignored the murder of Brianna Taylor in Louisville Kentucky a couple of years ago in a house break-in by cops without a valid warrant. But of course, if we ruffle the feathers of the "Golden Boy" we now need to resurrect John Marshall.
Don't count me in when referring to the unconcerned, when it came to Breonna ... I was so pleased to see her family win their laws suit. It's not the justice she deserves, but the family found justice in a court of law.
In regard to Trump, I think he is trying to get this into court, any court where he can see the affidavit, I think this may come back to haunt the Democrats. He is too anxious to get his side out.
I mean he has let people in twice to go through and take documents. Plus he has personal footage of all three times the Archive people, FBI, and DOJ has come to call.
I think this one was purely political, and they bit off more than they can chew. I think he dropped this news over the weekend to ensure big media coverage by Monday.
Alan Dershowitz claims Trump's 4th amendment right was violated.
Watching the Sunday morning show I saw an interview with Alan Dershowitz. He claimed Trump's 4th amendment was violated due to the raid on his home. He also went into a few examples of the problems he has encountered since sharing his legal opinion on Trump's rights. He claimed Caroline Kennedy refused to sit by him at a dinner party. She claimed she would not feel comfortable sitting next to him, due to " the support he has offered Trump"... Dershowitz claimed he has been canceled by the left. He has been very verbal about what rights Trump has under the constitution. He claimed his speaking engagements have been canceled, as well as many friends have deserted him, all due to his pointing out solid laws which Trump has on his side.
Do simply what are your thoughts?

Congressional Democrats spent more than $35 million on the Mueller report. It took 675 days, included nearly 3,000 subpoenas, and required 500 witness accounts. Despite being conducted by a far-from-unbiased legal team—one that has collectively donated at least 20 times more to Democrat as...
