The Republican's Commitment To America
1. Fight Inflation and Lower the Cost of Living
Everyone knew that wasteful Washington spending would spur inflation. Millions of hardworking taxpayer dollars were sent to luxury resorts and ski slopes, even stimulus checks to prisoners like the Boston Marathon bomber. Yet after more than a year of crushing inflation, Democrats still have no plan to solve it. Americans can’t afford Democrats’ policies, but we are certainly all paying for them.
Total government spending has increased by over $9 trillion since February 2021
550% In June, inflation had increased nearly 550% under this Administration
.13.5% Year-over-year food prices are edging up 13.5%, the largest increase ever
Make America Energy Independent and Reduce Gas Prices
Not long ago, America was the largest energy producer in the world and gas was affordable. The Biden Administration then halted energy projects, shut down pipeline construction, and took every step to discourage the production of American energy resources. Americans shouldn’t have to choose between driving to work and putting food on the table.
Gas prices shot up more than 60% under the current Administration
While the Biden Administration canceled leases and discouraged oil and gas production on day one, Presidents Trump and Obama each approved 10 times as many leases during the same period of their presidencies
Electricity prices are up 20% since Biden took office
Strengthen the Supply Chain and End Dependence on China
The frightening supply shock of baby formula this year was the tip of the iceberg of a broken supply chain that has increased costs and left store shelves empty. Record inflation is driving increases in the price of everyday essentials, while our country remains dangerously reliant on foreign countries like China for critical supplies, medicines, and technology.
Nearly 80% of small businesses said supply chain issues have persisted or gotten worse in the last three months
In June, baby formula was out of stock in over 70% of the country
Fertilizer prices have increased 30% in 2022, after increasing by 80% in 2021
2. Reduce Crime and Protect Public Safety
As a result of “Defund the Police” efforts, law enforcement officers across the country are facing the toughest working conditions in years—to say nothing of the liberal prosecutors and district attorneys who fail to do their job and keep criminals off the streets. At the same time, illicit fentanyl is flowing into our country and robbing an entire generation of Americans from a chance at the life they deserve
The highest murder rate in over 20 years in 2021
20-year high of intentional killings of law enforcement
300 Americans die from fentanyl poisoning every week, the leading cause of death for adults 18-45
3. A Future That’s Built On Freedom
Make Sure Every Student Can Succeed and Give Parents a Voice
When schools shut down, teachers unions still got paid but students bore the costs. All studies show that “virtual schooling” has caused severe learning and development loss that will take years to make up. What’s worse, when parents tried to understand what their children were being taught and how their tax dollars were being spent, they weren’t just ignored—they were targeted by this Administration.

Overall confidence in public schools is now at just 28%
TWO DECADES
of progress in math and reading, scores were erased in 2022
The Biden Justice Department labeled parents seeking to attend school board meetings as
Achieve Longer, Healthier Lives for Americans
America is home to the best medical care in the world thanks to talented doctors and innovative treatments. But Democrats are determined to squander all these advantages by imposing a top-down, one-size-fits-all government approach from Washington that will only lead to rationed care and worse services
Confront Big Tech and Demand Fairness
The age of social media promised to connect us with new people and ideas. Instead, Big Tech has tipped the scales to silence and censor those with conservative viewpoints. Worse than crystalizing an ideological echo chamber, these apps have proven to be incredibly addictive for children with potentially devastating consequences.
“DOMESTIC TERRORISTS”
3. A Government That’s Accountable
Preserve Our Constitutional Freedoms
No administration should pick and choose which freedoms it will preserve and for whom. This represents a government totally out of touch with the values on which our country was founded. It’s time we remember that all men and women are created equal and endowed with God-given rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
More than 14 whistleblowers have come forward to publicly raise concerns about the FBI's politicization
Democrats are poised to hire an army of 87,000 IRS agents—to audit middle-class Americans
Government-mandated lockdowns wiped out 20 years of student gains in math and reading
Defend America’s National Security
President Biden has managed America’s security from a position of weakness and incompetence. He failed to stand up to the brutal Chinese Communist Party, sought to cut deals with the radical Iranian regime that would endanger America and our ally Israel, promoted Russian energy, and directly caused the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan that killed 13 brave U.S. service members. This America Last foreign policy endangers us all.

Hold Washington Accountable
Government should work for the people, not against them. But under one-party rule, Democrats have used their power to silence critics and avoid genuine scrutiny. When faced with obvious abuses of power, Democrats in Congress simply bury their heads in the sand
Restore the People’s Voice
Democrats have sought to undermine the constitutional principle of one-person, one-vote by rejecting common sense changes that majorities of Americans support. In the House, Democrats created a “voting-by-proxy” system that allows Members of Congress to get paid without ever needing to show up for work.
80% of Americans support voter ID requirements
90% of House Democrats have received a paycheck to vote from home, rather than showing up in Washington to do their jobs
We have a plan to defend Americans’ rights under the Constitution:
Uphold free speech
Protect the lives of unborn children and their mothers
Guarantee religious freedom
Safeguard the Second Amendment
How does everyone think this Republican led Congress is doing? Off to a slow start? misguided?
Jim Jordan has fired off the first subpoenas to members of the DOJ and FBI. The subpoenas are linked to a long-held GOP claim that federal agencies “targeted” parents of public school children. Mr. Garland and the FBI have strenuously rejected the GOP accusation saying their focus was on protecting school board members amid sharply escalating threats of violence, with no emphasis on parents.
Good use of time and money?
They also spent time on passing a house resolution against socialism. Another needed move?
So far, they've spent a lot of time skirting around all the issues they ran on. We've got nothing but a slate of investigations as far as the eye can see.
I think a lot of us are growing sour on Congress. A recent NBC poll shows
55% of Americans say congressional Republicans will spend too much time investigating President Biden and not enough time on other priorities, while a combined 63% have no to little confidence that Congress will conduct a fair and impartial investigation into him and his administration.
Just 27% of respondents had a favorable view of congressional Republicans, compared with 36% who have a favorable view of congressional Democrats.
Politicians need to read the room and adjust accordingly.

Let me count the ways... When describing the mindset of Democrats in regard to the current accusation that Republicans are responsible for defunding the police, one might use words such as hypocritical, dishonest, or just plain half-ass-backward. I will say one thing, in my view, the...

Now that Republicans are set to take the majority of the House, I think it is safe to say that the Democrats are becoming fearful about all the investigations Republicans have threatened to proceed with if they won the majority. It would appear Republicans could move ahead with revving up all kinds...
