My daughter and her boyfriend got vaccinated and caught covid shortly after. I want her to cough on me , so I wouldn't be so lonely.

Indeed you must be bored and lonely to warm up the cold COVID soup.
Don“t know about the US and Canada, but over here in old Europe the show is over.

    In reminescence:
Roughly 1 year ago all of my greater family caught COVID after one of my grandchildren "importet" it to one of our birthday parties. I felt lonely because i had no symptoms while all others were sick. I was the only one boostered.

And on this Christmas same situation: All got the flu except me. Well - i had received my yearly flu shot in early November.

Being unvaccinated gets you into trouble. Getting the jabs keeps you out of problems. And temporary loneliness is the least problem.

We must of had very different experiences. All my unvaccined friends who didn't take the covid or flu shots, didn't catch the virus. In my adult life flu killed more people in Canada than covid has. Since nearly 85% took the covid shots and most did wear a mask, at least that tells me to stay away because they are sick. Many doctors around  the world are discovering skyrocketing heart disease and stokes. Also overall more of the population are dying unexplained.

"In my adult life flu killed more people in Canada than covid has."

So COVID is in the range of 20 times as lethal as the ordinary flu?  It killed in two years what the flue killed in 40?
Sounds like a decent ballpark figure.

Funny how the flu almost disappeared during 2021 and now it's back.

Our bodies need practice with germs and virus. CDC reports a person who catches covid with their immune system, is 9 times safer than taking the vaccines.  Masks are crap , unless your already sick or have Proper oxygen ventilation system. Good, if one likes being like dark Vander. Distancing is separating and labeling mostly healthy people. Can work, if your hate someone.

In my country no one died of other diseases. Heart disease and diabetes? Put it down as  COVID. Cancer? It must have been caused by COVID. Car wreck? Someone in the car had COVID though, so we will put it down as COVID.
No one dies of COVID in China but the US and Brazil have the highest numbers?

One guy died of a sky diving accident,  his parachute didn't open. It was reported that covid did it.
