This is from Vanity Fair July 16, 2021

In a push designed to treat unvaccinated Americans like an oppressed group, Republicans are reportedly pursuing a series of bills that would make it illegal to “discriminate” against those who choose not to get the COVID-19 vaccine. At least one state—Montana—has already signed such a bill into law, and according to Axios, others around the country are following suit.

Montana’s law prevents businesses such as grocery stores and restaurants from refusing customers based on their vaccination status. And employers in the state cannot consider an applicant’s vaccination status when making hiring decisions. In a similar move, Alabama passed a law prohibiting schools and universities from mandating COVID vaccine requirements for students, faculty, and staff, while other government institutions and private companies are also barred from stopping service to unvaccinated patrons. In essence, these types of laws give the same protection to unvaccinated Americans as those who face discrimination based on their race, religion, sexual orientation, and gender identity. “When we think about the normal discrimination statutes…we have protected classes based on something that is sort of inherent to you,” Lowell Pearson, a managing partner at Husch Blackwell, told Axios. “But vaccination status you certainly can control.”

In several states, Republican governors have passed mandates banning the use of vaccine passports, meaning businesses and venues cannot ask for proof that their customers are vaccinated. Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Idaho, Iowa, Montana, North Dakota, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, and Wyoming all have vaccine-passport bans.

Ironically, many of these efforts are taking place as the more contagious delta variant continues to spread, in states where vaccination rates are already at rock bottom. In Montana, approximately 43% of the state’s population is fully vaccinated. Around one third of Alabama residents have been fully vaccinated, and the state is currently experiencing an increase in COVID cases, according to The New York Times. Last week, CDC director Rochelle Walensky made it clear that those Americans who have recently died after contracting COVID-19 were unvaccinated. “Preliminary data from several states over the last few months suggest that 99.5% of deaths from COVID-19 in the United States were in unvaccinated people,” she said in a press briefing.

Despite the obvious danger, right-wing pundits with vast megaphones have continued to discourage their audiences from getting vaccinated. Last week Charlie Kirk, the cofounder of pro-Trump youth group Turning Point USA, launched a “No Forced Vax” campaign on Tucker Carlson Tonight, promising to “fight back against forced campus vaccinations” and supposedly launching chapters on campuses across the country. Kirk has compared vaccine requirements to South African apartheid, and GOP Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene has likened mask mandates and the treatment of unvaccinated Americans to that of Jews in prewar Nazi Germany. In condemning Joe Biden’s door-knocking campaign to get more Americans vaccinated, Tucker Carlson called it “the greatest scandal” he has ever witnessed, and his colleague Laura Ingraham slammed it as “creepy.”

It certainly is no surprise that more Republicans have opted not to take the vaccine. I have friends that for one reason or the other won't take it. The most common excuse is they feel it is a new type of vaccine that has not been used before, and many feel the vaccines were not tested sufficiently.

I think it goes back to the fact as a rule Republicans do not appreciate government overreach. And they really don't like the thought of any form of Vaccine mandates of any kind.  Many conservatives value autonomy.

I will be honest I don't know where you are going with your question ---  "Are Republicans protecting your right to die from the Delta Variant?

We are all responsible to make the decision to be vaccinated and be protected from COVID. As you stated in your OP ---  Last week, CDC director Rochelle Walensky made it clear that those Americans who have recently died after contracting COVID-19 were unvaccinated. “Preliminary data from several states over the last few months suggest that 99.5% of deaths from COVID-19 in the United States were in unvaccinated people,” she said in a press briefing.

People that are vaccinated have a very slight chance of contracting DELTA so not sure why it is you feel Republicans that choose not to be vaccinated are taking anyone's rights away.  You quoted that 99.5 stat.  People that are vaccinated have a minute chance of contacting DELTA or dieing from it.

"In the U.S., officials have said virtually all recent Covid hospitalizations and deaths were occurring among unvaccinated people."
      https://www.cnbc.com/2021/07/12/most-fu … says-.html

And undoubtedly there is a small number that has died from COVID even though vaccinated. No vaccine is 100%. And some recipient's immune systems are poor due to ongoing health problems that make them more prone to die if infected with a virus of any form.

The bottom line is we live in America, we have rights, and some are standing on those rights whether we agree or not.

I am against forcing anyone to put anything into their body that they don't want to. I took the vaccine, but I have seen not only long-term problems with the vaccine occur, but I have also seen long-term medications be flagged for causing problems such as Cancer.

We really do not have any long studies on any of the vaccines. So, I can see and actually felt the same fears as many that have refused to take one of the COVID vaccines.  So, have many physicians I am acquainted with.

        Sharlee:

I see the virus as an enemy of the people.  Not only in this country but in the world.  That's why it is called a pandemic.  Whether we like it or not, we are at war with an organism that is so small, it can only be seen with an electron microscope, but yet if not treated, it can be lethal, just like an enemy attacking human kind.

In my view, it is not a matter of freedom or government overreach, it is not even political.  It behooves each and everyone of us to be treated and follow the guidelines.

I believe what Fox News and MAGA news is doing is a disservice to the people in combating this enemy.  Carlson, Hannity, Ingraham, et al, think they are protecting the right of of those who don't want the vaccine.  I guess you didn't read this part of my post or you just ignored commenting on it.

"Despite the obvious danger, right-wing pundits with vast megaphones have continued to discourage their audiences from getting vaccinated. In my view, the misinformation, they are putting out is all most criminal.  They want their listeners to think they are helping them protect their freedom to choose.  When in fact what they are really doing is trying to increase their  ratings, so they can earn more megabucks.  It is almost like shouting fire in a crowded theater to either create or increase their fear of the vaccine.

From a scientific standpoint, the vaccine isn't even an antibody, like a Polio or a measles vaccine.  The virus multiplies by inserting its RNA into lung tissue.  The vaccine carries a messenger RNA that blocks the virus RNA so the virus can't reproduce.  It is nothing like a flu shot.  This is what Fox News should be telling it's viewers, not the B.S. they are putting out.

I'm all for freedom, but when their actions or inactions, put my health and others at risk, then something is wrong with this picture.  We have gone from getting the virus almost under control to having new outbreaks in areas where they refuse to get vaccinated.  In the Los Angeles area, until yesterday, we were not required to wear masks.  And now because of those new outbreaks as of Saturday at Midnight, we are required to wear masks again, to lower or risk from getting it from Anti-Vaxers.

I think I have mentioned this before. For those people who are dying and have died because of not being vaccinated, I think it will affect their gene pool.  It is a law of nature that is survival of the fittest and those who are able to adapt to change.  If they choose not to adapt, they will pay the price and I  blame Fox/MAGA news for a large part of the problem.

Here's my question then. Should insurance companies be required to pay for health care associated with those who aren't vaccinated? In other words, should that be a way for insurance companies to deny coverage?

I would say yes. If you refuse to get vaccinated and then you get COVID and need to be hospitalized, you should bear the brunt of that decision.

Insurance companies are all about risk/reward ratio.  They want you to stay well so that you don't file as many claims. The less claims that are filed, the bigger the profit for the insurance companies.

People who have insurance pay premiums. I don't think they can legally deny coverage based on not getting the shots. I think most care givers would still tend to sick patients even if the patient was not covered.

That's like saying you shouldn't get coverage for a car accident because you chose to drive a car.  How about people who were victims of cancer because they worked in roofing industry?  You chose to work in the roofing industry.  So, where does it stop?  How about if you survive a suicide attempt?  You chose to commit suicide.  You pay for your insurance, you should get the coverage.

I understand your point of view, the majority of Americans did decide to get vaccinated. However, some have fears of a vaccine that has never been used before with a short study period. Fear is a horrible emotion to deal with.

PP -- I guess you didn't read this part of my post or you just ignored commenting on it.

As I have said before I don't watch much media nighttime news. This is why it's hard to address the network news shows. These shows are more geared to presenting hyperbolic opinion-oriented views on current events. They all pick and choose what they want one to hear. They skew context.

So, if you have a particular Tucker show you found was egregious in regard to vaccines, please provide the youtube, and I will watch it. I have checked out a few of the Tucker shows that you felt he was being untruthful. What I have gleaned from Tucker's style --- he is very outspoken with his opinion of others, he slams one in the face as a rule with facts one might not want to hear. He does present guests to attempt to back up his theories.

PP --   In my view, it is not a matter of freedom or government overreach, it is not even political.  It behooves each and every one of us to be treated and follow the guidelines.

This is your opinion, we all have one. I believe in the freedom to make sessions on what goes into my body. Weighing pros and cons, and making a decision.  Our mindsets differ severely... I am very much conservative, very fact-oriented. My degrees are in health science and biological sciences. So you might guess my mindset is very much science-based.  I know a lot about viruses in general, as well as DNA and RNA. So, I might say my decision to take the vaccine was a hard one.
I needed to look past the fact that DNA and RNA play a very big part in Cancer.  Denatured DNA is a big part of Cancer growth.
To put it simply --- Cancer is actually out-of-control cell division. It involves a change in the DNA structure that causes an alteration of the normal DNA regulating mechanisms. The malignant (cancerous) cells no longer respond to normal regulatory signals --- So, I am somewhat leery of a vaccine that sets up shop in our RNA.  Hopefully, we as a society don't find out in a couple of years these vaccines attributed to a very large increase in Cancer.

I don't see a problem in wearing a mask to lower the chances of getting DELTA.  Although the cases in people with the vaccine are very low, if one feels more comfortable wearing a mask, they should wear a mask. I, at this juncture, am still distancing in public, I am not socializing with friends that have made the decision not to take the vaccine. You see, I look at it this way --- they have the right to make up their own minds on whether to get vaccinated which would give them good protection against the virus. However, I have the right to protect myself from people that can carry large loads of the virus and spread the Virus.  In my view, one needs to make decisions that lead to protecting themself, and don't worry about what others choose to do... Because in the end, they have the right to make up their own minds.  I am not losing sleep over something I can't change.

Will this all affect the gene pool, who knows. Keep in mind, we that who took the vaccine have no idea what it may do in a year or two. The body is very smart when it comes to foreign objects, and sometimes just does not know how to handle them, and decides to try to kill the bad guy. Problems can occur when the body kills the good guys too...

I am aware of the divide. As I said I believe conservatives, in general, have many different mindsets than liberals. AS I shared, I have friends that are physicians that will not take the vaccine. I think some people are fearful of long-term health problems, some are just fearful of anything that comes out of Government.

My common sense told me I could be dammed if I don't, and maybe dammed if I do. But knowing a bit about viruses, I know this virus is like no other, and we will not get rid of it if we don't stop it with a vaccine. It would literally be around for many many years if left to run unchecked.

It can also mutate into something far worse than we have seen. I wish more information on the science of viruses would be reported on, give truthful information on how dangerous mutations can be. We have no idea if DELTA will mutate into something worse.

Question --- Would you be on board with a federal mandate that would require all citizens 12 years and up to be vaccinated, unless a Doctor offers a reason their patient should not be vaccinated? Would you be willing to have a mandate for all children to be vaccinated?

M- They have the right to make up their own minds, but their minds are being influenced with misinformation and lies about the virus from Fox and MAGA news.
I wouldn't care if if it were just a few individuals, but their audience is in the millions 24/7 and that influence represents a very powerful force in their decision making.  The more people who become anti-vaxers, the greater the probability of the virus spreading and even mutating again...So I am making it my business, at least from a personal concern as to how it affects human kind.

I watched youtube and checked out the Factcheckers at Politifact.

Politifact did their homework and very much proved Tucker's comments were not factual or could not at all be proved as true. His comment in regard to the vaccines is very one-sided, that is clear. And his delivery could very well work to make some think they should fear the vaccine.

His bit on females in the army -- I found a more complete longer clip from that show. He appeared to be trying to make the point we are lagging way behind China in regard to their military, especially China's naval power. Pointing out the pure fact that they have a very much larger fleet than the US. He was very angry at a speech Biden had given. A speech where Tucker clearly thought Biden looked foolish talking about maternity clothes and hairstyles instead of address the problem that we lag severely behind China in regards to military and equipment needed to protect America.

I have said this before in regard to Tucker, he is very hyperbolic, and I will agree many that who would tune in could be very much disturbed by what he is saying, and how it says it, and take it all as factual. Tucker has a way with words that's apparent. Many like shows that the hosts are very controversial.

Opinion shows in my view ar dangerous... Many don't look beyond the hype.

PP -- They have the right to make up their own minds, but their minds are being influenced with misinformation and lies about the virus from Fox and MAGA news.

I don't see much that can be done about the nightly talk jock shows. I find all three of the popular networks bias, and promoting propaganda.

PP --  The more people who become anti-vaxers, the greater the probability of the virus spreading and even mutating again...So I am making it my business, at least from a personal concern as to how it affects human kind.

The greatest probability of spread will be among the unvaccinated if we are being told the truth about the virus, and the vaccine remains effective. It will be unvaccinated that will become ill, and in the end, it will be them (the hard way) that added many millions to the herd. I certainly don't prefer this outcome. But I am not sure all of our personal concerns matter.  So, how are you intending to change anything via personal concerns that affect humankind in regards to those that refuse to be vaccinated?

Perhaps you should try to keep yourself and yours healthy by continuing some forms of mitigations as I do.  Try to stay clear from friends and family that won't take the vaccine, this will work to cut your chances of even getting a weakened case of DELTA.  And social distance when in public until we see where this new strain is going, can't hurt to
                be careful.

You did not answer my questions in regard to mandates.

You do realize how frequently the CDC walks back their advice? And my question has nothing to do with the CDC or any other one's opinion on mandates. I asked your opinion, and I had hoped to learn your opinion on Government overreach and citizen's freedoms.
                    That's where I was headed.

So, from your answer I take it you are down with whatever you are told to do by the CDC.. It would appear you are alright with taking away a person's right to choose what goes into their body.

I will point out something important only because I find your reply to my question is interesting in regard to individual ideologies. And I have been trying to point out that our ideologies differ. It is apparent you are a liberal;, and in the case of mandates, it appears you would leave that decision in the hands of the Government, and follow their request without a problem.  I, being conservative, would not be on board with taking away anyone's right to refuse the vaccine.  I am pro-vaccine at this point and think more truth about the virus, and the importance of taking the vaccine is a better path than mandating a vaccine with mandates.

This vaccine debate really shows the differing mindsets between liberals and conservatives.

We actually had long studies on coronaviruses for years. This was just a new strain of an old virus. Unvaccinated people don't have the right to get other people sick because they are carriers of disease.

Fox News had the strictest laws about making their employees be vaccinated before coming back to work. If a person was ill with a deadly disease and wanted to die, would you support their right to die then? The hypocrisy is astounding. The R argument "My body, my choice" is the same. R Women as a rule don't support a woman's right to choose when it comes to unwanted pregnancy.

Could it be time to just accept most have made up their minds in regard to getting vaccinated?  The division is clear, and the bar is not moving...

Both sides have dug in, both sides have presented solid pros and cons. Offering relative information to back up their opinions.

This vaccine was hoisted on us, with little information and had a short human study. This and the fact that we also know little about the actual virus as of yet could certainly work as a deterrent to taking the vaccine.

Many seem to feel we have heard little from the CDC that we can trust, due to them changing up their opinion frequently. This works to deter, not encourage one to take the vaccine. Even in fact the CDC responsibly changes its information due to a changing virus. Laymen can't digest this, perhaps due to the fact have never had to face such a complicated scientific problem.  My point -- At any rate, the decision to take a brand new type of vaccine to fight an unknown virus was a hard one.  We all have different ways when it comes to deciphering pros and cons.

Maybe it's time we realize either side could be wrong. Playing the blame game gets us nowhere. Just another thing to divide us. Maybe we should start thinking about all the divisions we now are dealing with. And asking ourselves what's causing them.

In regard to Tucker, some find him "creepy". I find him outspoken, he hits ya in the face with opinions one may not like to hear. Hit nerve-type journalism.  But, I will be dammed, he sure makes one think. His commentary smacks one right between the eyes.

But I do care how he Hannity and Ingraham have such a huge audience  that they can influence with their misinformation and propaganda. And they do it all for the huge salaries they earn from their sponsors. Welcome to capitalism at its finest.

The people who are not wearing masks and not getting vaccinated don't realize and/or don't care they can be spreaders of the virus and a lot of it is because of the misinformation that is presented by Fox News.

As far as the CDC and the scientific community, you and I understand  this virus is still unfolding, but their are others who want certainty everyday.   They don't realize as they learn new information, they have to change their position on policies and procedures. Now they have approved another dose for those who have survived with underlying conditions.

I watched AOC being interviewed on CNN.  She said she was afraid that during Jan. 6 she was going to be raped and die from the attackers.  I'm sure Tucker's  audience had a big laugh about that.  You call it all about being hit between the eyes.  I call it exploitation of an audience for ratings.

In my view, that is what keeps us divided.  There are two America's.  There is the left America and the Right America. Each "country" has their own values and belief systems and never the two shall meet.

Please note the context of my comment in regard to Tucker. I was not approving or disapproving of his opinions.  I simply comment on his style of journalism. I can't judge if what he is saying is propaganda. I don't tune in often. I have watched a couple of his clips on youtube due to you requesting me to.  It appeared he was hyperbolic but relied most of the time on his opinion of what he feels are facts.  I just don't rely on talk jocks when it comes to factual news --- any of them.

PP -- " The people who are not wearing masks and not getting vaccinated don't realize and/or don't care they can be spreaders of the virus and a lot of it is because of the misinformation that is presented by Fox News."

I think you are compartmentalizing people unduly. I tried to point out individuals use different ways to determine pros and cons when it comes to the vaccine. I know some very intelligent people On being my cardiologist have opted to not take the vaccine, and mitigate using other precautions.  And there is and has been misinformation from just about every organization like the CDC, FDA, and TV Dr. from day one...  This is one of the big problems why many have lost trust in information altogether.

PP -- "As far as the CDC and the scientific community, you and I understand  this virus is still unfolding, but their are others who want certainty everyday.   They don't realize as they learn new information, they have to change their position on policies and procedures. Yes, the virus is changing and we just did not know enough about it from day one. So yes, my common sense and educational background tell me that all that many call flip and flops are simply due to just not knowing enough about this virus, and making the CDC going with the flow of new studies that are starting to surface. What it seems many can't understand is this virus is not typical, it is not in any respect flowing the path most viruses follow.  It's like a new animal that has never been recovered --- we don't know what it will do.  In regard to  --  "Now they have approved another dose for those who have survived with underlying conditions."

I was just had lunch with a physician friend, she had COVID in the first months of the outbreak. She was donating blood plasma every month to be used therapeutically on COVID Pts. She was told last month her titer was too low and her plasma would not be sufficient  She also at that point took the vaccine, hoping it would bring up her titer, it did. It is my hope that the Government starts putting out information on just how long the COVID antibodies last after the vaccine and after one has had COVID. It appears that again this virus is not following what is expected in regard to holding on to antibodies. I will check my titer in Sept, and get a booster with my Dr if need be.  I think the Government should be out front with offering boosters to all that show a low titer and want to get a booster. In my opinion, by Nov we will have a new mutation that will hit hard and hit all ages. I hope I am wrong.

I agree,  There is left America and Right America. Each "country" has its own values and belief systems and never the two shall meet. I actually think there is a third, one that ignores all the hoopla and tries to just make calm sensible individual decisions taking into account considering their own situation.

As far as Tucker, Hannity, and the rest you have the right to turn them off. But do you have the right to make other stop watching their shows because you feel they are promoting propaganda? WE have always had free speech, and I would never want to see us lose it.

I respectfully had a good look at your article. I can see that even though AOC was not in the Capitol she had reasons to be very frightened.  While the riot was occurring a man did pound on her office door, she could certainly hear all the violence that was occurring just across the street, and she had a history of being overpowered and raped.  It was unfair for any journalist to assume just because she did not come face to face with a rioter that she would not feel afraid or threatened. Shame on them!

We would have been so much better off in regard to handling the virus if we let virologists and physicians take control of speaking to the nation. I have question:

Many people participating in this discussion seem to be antivaxers.
Now i read that in places where hospitals are overwhelmed, they start to set up remote monoclone antibody treatment sites.

That seems to make sense. Give Covid patients a shot of this medicine and send them home before they can even enter the hospital door.

But again. This treatment is also experimental. Possibly even more experimental than vaccines are. So - are antivaxers willing to get the stuff that already saved the former guy in the White House?

I just drop this info in here about the Delta variant:

          https://www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1101 … 21261991v1

This study found out that apparently Delta is tricky, because Delta seems to hide/suppress symptoms for a few days. People with Delta are infectuous some days before fist symptoms develop.

This may explain the higher virus load for the Delta variant (has more time to develop before discovery) and it may explain the rapid spreading, because more infected people run around uncontrolled without symptoms.

          Makes sense to me.

Let's do a stake holder's analysis. The factors are rights, responsibilities, harms, and benefits.

I have the right to become vaccinated and wear a mask. I feel it is my responsibility to be vaccinated and wear a mask to not only protect myself from getting the virus, but to keep others from getting the virus.  The harm that can come from that is that their is a very small chance I can still get the virus. I feel the benefits outweigh the risk.

Antivaxxers and non mask wearers have the right to not get the shot and not wear a mask. They only have a responsibility to themselves to maintain their freedom of choice.  They do not feel responsible for others well being. The benefit is only to themselves.  The harm is they can infect others as a result of their freedom of choice.

Democratic law makers feel they have a responsibility to make laws to protect the people from getting the virus. The constitution gives them that right. The harm is their laws can infringe on the rights of others for their freedom of choice.  The benefit is the protection from the virus for everybody.

Republican law makers feel they have to protect everybody's freedom to choose. They have the right to do that.  Their responsibility is to those who think they are losing their freedoms.  The harm is by protecting others right to not get vaccinated not wear masks and not showing proof of shots when asked is not only protecting the rights of others from the possibility of being infected by the virus, but also spreading the virus.

We are currently a country divided by antivaxxers and vaxxers. It is no longer, "we the people to form a more perfect union" as the preamble to the constitution states.

Just consider when your immune system doesn't get to practice with all the many germs or viruses daliy surrounding them. When a super virus comes along and they drop dead because their bodies have not been practicing.

Airlines are putting penalties, fees on their employees if the don´t get vaccinated. It is a pure financial calculus. Refuse vaccination and the likelyhood of serious illness and hospitalisation is much higher. This will cost the airline money and they requestreembursement from their employees. Of course employees are free to not work for that specific airline. No laws of free enterprise and capitalism violated.

The CDC seems at this point to be giving sound information. Although we now have Fauci disputing the CDC. Fauci was Trump's worst mistake when it comes to the virus, he contradicts himself almost daily from day one when he told us

I don't want to see people running around in masks. To now wanting us to mask up again, and make sure our children are also masked.

In my view, people need to make their own decision when it comes to getting vaccinated.  No one should be forced by a mandate to be vaccinated.

One death from this vaccine is a crime. Its just a stupid cold germ. You gotta get healthy and stay healthy, which means stay off the sauce, the sugar, the white flour and the chemicals/additives/preservatives which are in most of the processed, adulterated foods we consume.

Instead, eat whole fresh vegetables, grains and legumes. We humans will be healthy and strong if we eat what nature has provided for us. When the intestines and bowels become clogged with the overly-processed foods we consider harmless, they become a haven/heaven for GERMS. How the germs love the filth of purifying, decaying waste just sitting there in the intestines. This is where the Covid 19 virus (plus variants,) germs, bacteria and the multitudes of microbes that invade us everyday

                                            F L O R I S H !

During this time, it is important to eat green vegetables of all types, even for breakfast. Raw, baked and/or steamed vegetables will keep the intestinal tract clear. It is also important to walk or run every day. Our intestinal track is very long and meat gets trapped in it for days. If you insist on eating meat, make sure you eat it with foods which contain enzymes, like raw greens and salads.

I do not think its a good idea to talk to people you don't know without wearing a mask or stand too close to them for longer than five minutes. Wear a mask and stay out of crowded areas. Yoga and stretching helps energize the body. Be happy by watching movies which make you laugh or lift your spirits. Also, drink enough water, wash your hands and clothes and let the sun shine on your skin, (preferably your stomach area which helps the body absorb vitamin D3,) everyday.
You will stay well and not risk death and other side effects, such as paralyzed legs or strokes by taking the vaccine.

In 2019, My father got a flu shot at the doctors office. A month and a half later he got another flu shot at the pharmacy. They did not ask him for any medical records / history of what vaccines he had taken. He died two weeks after the second flu shot. I believe it inflamed his heart. He had been in very good health for a 90 year old. He took the vaccine as a precaution, but with a bit of forgetfulness took the a second one too soon after the first. Fatal mistake.

Here is even a better explanation of how the vaccine works.  This should be presented to all the anti-vaxers so they can be educated to what is really happening when their body gets vaccinated with mRNA and how it deals with the virus.

I believe this is the best explanation so far and it should even be put on national television for everybody to see and understand, why it so much different than an antibody flu shot.

Can you explain the increase in "breakthrough" infections?  People who have been fully vaccinated are testing positive in the tens of thousands.  Some news reports say having the vaccine will lessen the symptoms, BUT the virus still has a 99 percent survival rate, according to the CDC.

The virus has mutated away from the original strain, the vaccine is somewhat less effective. It will become even more ineffective with the next mutation. Soon we will be back at square one.

At this point, the vaccine is working with DELTA to produce a milder case of the virus. Hopefully, the next mutation gets weaker. This virus is not following the typical path most viruses take.

It's an individual choice.  99 percent survival rate is important information.

To put it in perspective, that is a higher survival rate than if you have a heart attack.

"Studies have found that survival rates for people hospitalized for heart attacks are approximately 90%2 to 97%.3 This varies based on the type of heart attack, which arteries are involved, and additional factors such as age and gender."

As valid as surveys on heart attack survival are, what does that number have to do with the 99%/1% that you mentioned? Nothing.

Numbers can only be compared if adjusted to the same rules. And the rule for the heart attack survey is: hospitalized.

So why don´t we look at survival/mortality rates for hospitalized Covid19 patients and then compare: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7920817/
That survey found out 17% mortality for hospitalized Covid patients. Me think that is another mangnitude, far more dangerous than a heart attack, which in itself is dangerous enough.

I am saying germs of all types multiply in the intestines. When the intestines and intestinal-track stop flowing properly, there is a back up of waste matter. Then, those germs / microbes flourish and multiply to dangerously high levels. Ordinarily, The immune system can fight off the the microbes by killing them, but when the level becomes too high, it looses the battle. Disease results, as germs get into the blood stream and affect areas of the body where they should not be.

If children are tested routinely, the picture is clear. In the UK the 7 day incidence for children is some 1200 per 100.000, 10 times as high as for example the current overall US infection average. With due respect, your statement is plain wrong.

It is another question and the topic of this discussion that kids don´t get really sick from Covid19, symptoms are more like catching a cold. This could be tolerated if all others are protected by vaccination. Certainly worth a discussion.

We should not get ourselves deluded by anecdotal fails of vaccination protection. With now 3.8 billion doses administered worldwide, what are we talking about concerning vaccination sideeffects and failures?

But, in fact, immune cells known as memory T cells also play an important role in the ability of our immune systems to protect us against many viral infections, including—it now appears—COVID-19.

An intriguing new study of these memory T cells suggests they might protect some people newly infected with SARS-CoV-2 by remembering past encounters with other human coronaviruses. This might potentially explain why some people seem to fend off the virus and may be less susceptible to becoming severely ill with COVID-19.

The findings, reported in the journal Nature, come from the lab of Antonio Bertoletti at the Duke-NUS Medical School in Singapore [1]. Bertoletti is an expert in viral infections, particularly hepatitis B. But, like so many researchers around the world, his team has shifted their focus recently to help fight the COVID-19 pandemic.

Bertoletti’s team recognized that many factors could help to explain how a single virus can cause respiratory, circulatory, and other symptoms that vary widely in their nature and severity—as we’ve witnessed in this pandemic. One of those potential factors is prior immunity to other, closely related viruses.

SARS-CoV-2 belongs to a large family of coronaviruses, six of which were previously known to infect humans. Four of them are responsible for the common cold. The other two are more dangerous: SARS-CoV-1, the virus responsible for the outbreak of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS), which ended in 2004; and MERS-CoV, the virus that causes Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS), first identified in Saudi Arabia in 2012.

All six previously known coronaviruses spark production of both antibodies and memory T cells. In addition, studies of immunity to SARS-CoV-1 have shown that T cells stick around for many years longer than acquired antibodies. So, Bertoletti’s team set out to gain a better understanding of T cell immunity against the novel coronavirus."

"To better understand immune memory of SARS-CoV-2, researchers led by Drs. Daniela Weiskopf, Alessandro Sette, and Shane Crotty from the La Jolla Institute for Immunology analyzed immune cells and antibodies from almost 200 people who had been exposed to SARS-CoV-2 and recovered.

Time since infection ranged from six days after symptom onset to eight months later. More than 40 participants had been recovered for more than six months before the study began. About 50 people provided blood samples at more than one time after infection.

The research was funded in part by NIH’s National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) and National Cancer Institute (NCI). Results were published on January 6, 2021, in Science."

        https://www.nih.gov/news-events/nih-res … y-covid-19

"The immune system can distinguish between normal, healthy cells and unhealthy cells by recognizing a variety of "danger" cues called danger-associated molecular patterns (DAMPs). Cells may be unhealthy because of infection or because of cellular damage caused by non-infectious agents like sunburn or cancer. Infectious microbes such as viruses and bacteria release another set of signals recognized by the immune system called pathogen-associated molecular patterns (PAMPs).

"When the immune system first recognizes these signals, it responds to address the problem."

"The immune system is complex and pervasive. There are numerous cell types that either circulate throughout the body or reside in a particular tissue. Each cell type plays a unique role, with different ways of recognizing problems, communicating with other cells, and performing their functions."

An economist prooved statistically, that some guy getting drunk in a bar should drive home with his car. The probability of dying by falling down on the concrete sidewalk is higher than getting killed by drunk driving.

I can´t take all this discussion on not getting vaccinated serious any more.

Eventually it will be like the joke from the 80ties when first Sony Walkmen saw kids on the streets running aroung with headsets. The narrative was: This problems solves itself, because kids paying attention to their music and not to traffic will get run over more easily.

I think you understand what i mean. And yes - the topic is very serious. Only - the discussion response is not (in my understanding).

    T CELLS / Natural Response

"After people recover from infection with a virus, the immune system retains a memory of it. Immune cells and proteins that circulate in the body can recognize and kill the pathogen if it’s encountered again, protecting against disease and reducing illness severity.

This long-term immune protection involves several components. Antibodies—proteins that circulate in the blood—recognize foreign substances like viruses and neutralize them. Different types of T cells help recognize and kill pathogens. B cells make new antibodies when the body needs them."
“Several months ago, our studies showed that natural infection induced a strong response, and this study now shows that the responses last,” Weiskopf says.

“We are hopeful, (HOPEFUL? yikes !) that a similar pattern of responses lasting over time will also emerge for the vaccine-induced responses.”

I am not a Republican or a Democrat, or otherwise supporting any of those political careerists. So, playing with statistics for fun -- vaccines are said to be effective from 72% to 86% -- meaning that about 14% of those fully vaccinated could potentially die of Covid-19, unprotected.
And then, it coincides with the percentage of about 14% of potential mortality from Covid-19 for everybody, whether vaccinated or not.
Logically meaning that we are all playing Russian roulette, whether relying on  our natural immunity or the one received from vaccination.
Personally, I am betting on my natural immunity, because it is called "nonspecific", ready to face ANY unfriendly microbe, as opposed to vaccination which is "specific" and ready to face only a small range of Covid family.
Since viruses mutate in 10 hours, they may trick limited antibodies from vaccine, but can't trick a well nourished natural immunity. It's the one not having been greatly reduced by fearmongering by the authorities.
Want real science? Study some psycho-neuro-immunology to find out how prolonged fear affects our immunity.

Val:  Do you know if the immunity from the shot interferes with your natural immunity? mRNA is not a weakened antibody.  It's part of genetic code that blocks the virus from replicating.

What I'm asking is can your system have natural immunity at the same time it is getting immunity from the shot? In that way it covers both types of attacks

So you are saying, it's a toss-up from fear of getting the shot, lowering your immunity or fear of not getting the shot lowering your immunity.

I don't know about a virus mutating every 10 hours.  I understand a mutation is caused when the virus replicates, the copy is not exactly the same as the original.  There are three types of mutations: the copy will increase the survival of the virus; or it will be benign and do nothing, or it will decrease the survival of the virus. Mutation is a form of natural selection and survival of the fittest.

I also understand that it takes so long to produce antibodies like the flu vaccine is because it takes years for the virus to mutate to become weakened.  mRNA does not have to go through that process because it is  a genetic code, not a mutated, and weakened virus.

My wife had been plagued for years with a rash that doctors could only say that it was her immune system going bananas. She got her second Moderna shot in March and has not had an outbreak of that rash since then.  I don't know if that is a coincidence or not. But something must have boosted her immunity to that allergy.

ValKaras, there is nothing like  ..."science" you PREFER to believe...
Science is not for believers, it is for those who reckon and make conclusions.

Maybe 5 months ago there was little proof for the science you question.

But not now. In all countries with significant vaccination the death toll is down and infection rate is down. With more than 3,8 billion doses administered, most of the doses in developed countries, the evidence of effectiveness is overwhelming.

And the USA choose to have a real life laboratory to proove correlation between virus spreading in more vaccinated and less vaccinated states.

You accept shots against anthrax, pox, pneumonia, TBC - because you may need it for travelling, but not Covid19 vax? You accept Tetanus vaccination even for kids (mostly a cocktail of tetanus, influenca B, diphteria, polio, hepatitis B), because otherwise they are not admitted to Kindergarten, but not...

Ok, stick to your natural immunity. If all people ever thought that way, why do we need vaccinations in the first place. The method of vaccination was developed centuries ago. Would have been totally unnecessary if natural immunity always took care. With due respect: Pure nonsense, your comment.

Why are 99% of those hospitalized with Covid not vaccinated?

Castle:   So all of that is the reason you are not getting the vaccine?  You are using the same ploy the gun people use. "More people are killed by cars than mass shootings.  You can be killed by knife and forks.  Why aren't they banned." What you are calling the "propaganda machine" is really a giant excuse and  distraction for you and others not getting the vaccine.

All the antivaxxers believe that their immune systems will save them from becoming ill from the virus.  However, what makes one sick after being infected from the virus is your immune system overreacting to the infection.

It's called a cytokine storm and causes your body to become overwhelmed from the its own immune system trying to fight off the virus. Underlying health conditions do make this worse.  That's why people with underlying conditions are more susceptible to being infected from the virus.

People should be educated with the science, not the politics. This is why unvaccinated people die from the virus. It is their own immune system attacking them.

When you get an allergy, it is your immune system generating histamines to deal with a foreign substance. It causes an allergic reaction including rashes, coughs, sneezing, and many other reactions. That's why we have antihistamines that you buy in a drug store to shut-off the histamines. But a cytokine storm has no off switch. The purpose of the  vaccine is to stop the virus from replicating before your immune system goes into a cytokine storm.

Your point is a good one. Not many will discuss how we rid ourselves of COVID before it becomes something we can't get rid of. I blame our Government and media for not concentrating on the fact that this virus will likely mutate, and continue to mutate until we can stamp it out with a huge herd. A herd that could be easily formed with the vaccine.

We don't know what another mutation will bring, it could be catastrophic.  The government needs to put forth facts on what typical viruses and that mutations can't really be predicted.  Here in the US people are much confused due to the daily walk backs and flip-flops...

I think the media should concentrate on what could come of this, not stats...  Many are just considering the stats, and feeling comfortable with the numbers. Not realizing this virus needs to be stopped due to its very virulent unpredictable nature.

OK, I did some research, I was about to argue that the vaccine would not help with "stamping out" Covid.  And in truth, as we see it has mutated already, there is a good chance it might not... but to be fair I found this:

syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) and Alphainfluenzavirus are RNA viruses that cause coronavirus disease-19 and influenza, respectively. Both viruses infect the respiratory tract, show similar symptoms, and use surface proteins to infect the host. Influenza requires hemagglutinin and neuraminidase to infect, whereas SARS-CoV-2 uses protein S. Both viruses depend on a viral RNA polymerase to express their proteins, but only SARS-CoV-2 has a proofreading mechanism, which results in a low mutation rate compared to influenza. E1KC4 and camostat mesylate are potential inhibitors of SARS-CoV-2 S protein, achieving an effect similar to oseltamivir. Due to the SARS-CoV-2 low mutation rate, nucleoside analogs have been developed (such as EIDD-2801), which insert lethal mutations in the viral RNA. Furthermore, the SARS-CoV-2 low mutation rate suggests that a vaccine, as well as the immunity developed in recovered patients, could provide long-lasting protection compared to vaccines against influenza, which are rendered obsolete as the virus mutates.

So the question now becomes why don't they come out and tell people this?

The effort from DC and some Governors to communicate to Americans seems to be "DO IT because we ordered you to do it, or else" as well as "You'll have to carry ID showing you got your vaccine".

If the President had a 10 minute Address the Nation program that all the networks covered and he explained (more thoroughly and more layman terms) that one quoted paragraph above so that Americans understood what was being asked of them... I bet there would be far less resistance.

I still wouldn't let my two sons get it, because the reaction to the vaccine is more likely to be harmful, even fatal, to them compared to the risk of the virus, but that too could be explained in the Address.  Or they could hold off on boys 18 and under getting the vaccine until they discover the causes and find a resolution to the problem.

Now Biden did come out and tackle Covid in such an address months ago:

                    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sZBquj94CGU

But there was no explanations like I noted above. In fact that was so tough to watch as he rambled on and occasionally lost track of what he was talking about... maybe we need him to get up there, say a few words, and then hand it off to a Medical expert to explain, using a couple charts.

When more experts are presented that explain why the vaccine is safe, and explain that it will curb Covid... unlike their inability to curb the Flu, I think a lot more people would support it.

Right now, still have a lot of doubts, and all the research I have done has done nothing to alleviate my concerns... because there are still a lot of debates and concerns throughout the Medical field (CDC, WHO included) regarding Covid and the Vaccines.

But I also see a significant difference in the flu, which is contagious for a day, as opposed to Covid with a ten day period.  Also, the death rate for Covid is currently 3x higher than the flu.  So, while similar, definitely some differences that one should consider.

Chriss57 -- Nobody's comment here is a "pure nonsense". We are all civilized commenters respecting others' right to a different opinion. That's what freedom of speech is all about. Furthermore, yes, science certainly IS a "matter of belief", ever since it has become a dogma of the mainstream -- according to some medical scientists who have been silenced in style of a Medical Inquisition.
There are totally scientific, yet different intellectual tastes involved between academics in fields of medicine, physics, history, origin of man, nutrition...etc. Nobody is holding the bag with the ultimate truth, and the same goes for those in business of vaccines, which, by the way, haven't been tested by an independent lab, but by the labs of the producers.
And, if vaccines are really so safe, why is it that their producers are not liable?
In the US alone every year about 350,000 people die from so called iatrogenic causes -- or the ones referring to medical and pharmaceutical screwups. Why are this vaccines to be viewed out of those statistics? Because they are as "scientifically based" as all those drugs and treatments that kill all those 350,000 patients each and every year?
None of the statistics in department of vaccinations matter one bit, because many factors are involved in someone's benefiting or not from vaccination, Seeing it as universally effective is against any empirical logic. Namely, any psycho-neuro-immunologist will tell you how this prolonged fearmongering has lowered people's immunity. So, it's not so much about "how lethal" the virus is, but how weakened our immunity has become -- whether from prolonged fearmongering, isolation, financial uncertainties, or from any preexisting genetic predisposition or ongoing diagnoses.
Again, too much is at play in all this, and we just can't use a broad brush here to paint vaccines in some vibrant rosy colors.
The bottom line is -- to each their own, let everyone be responsible for their own health without being coerced into doing what is against their logicalness..
After all, what are those vaccinated worried about -- they can't get sick, for if they can, why did they get vaccinated?

Relying on your own health and immune system to fight a deadly pandemic is nonsense. Period. You simply can´t meditate or lifestyle the virus away.

With respect to the numbers you gave on the US: I read that the average life expectancy in the US has dropped 1,5 years in 2020, now at 77 years from birth. I think we can assume that your 350 kilo screwups per years was already accounted for in previous years. As far as i understand the life expectancy drop was assigned to Covid19 and intensified drug abuse (some 50/50) https://www.npr.org/sections/coronaviru … w-ii-covid

I know that a lot of folks like you with resistance to vaccination are still out on the streets and endanger their fellow neighbours by catching and spreading the virus. It is not about personal choice. It is about protecting others.

Mike -- A friendly response to your line of thinking...
I haven't been for a yearly medical checkup for some 15 years, and during all this covid-racket I've been quite exposed to the virus, without getting sick. You see, I don't believe that medicine is necessary for my survival.
Actually, talking about survival, that Darwinian phrase "survival of the fittest" may apply to the animal and plant kingdoms, whereas in humans it is "survival of the most conscious".
When you study epigenetics, you come to the new medicine of mind being in charge of cellular level of vitality. Virus is merely an agent, or carrier of information and a certain energy frequency, which cannot affect a cell with its genome expression in higher frequencies. We are constantly sending emotional signals to our cellular intelligence, upregulating, or downregulating our genes' expressions.
"Natural immunity" is just another phrase -- there is so much more involved when we look at human nature in a holistic way, not a reductionist, mechanistic way of medicine. We are much more than a bunch of chemicals helped by another bunch of chemicals.
We are conscious beings -- or else we are allowing ourselves to be a biological robots programmed by the authorities of a whole garden variety.
Just because medical and political authorities are so loud these days, that doesn't make them correct.
Many of those vaccinated may be helped by sheer placebo effect, feeling that they have taken a sip from a Holy Grail.
I am not against vaccination, I am only against myself getting vaccinated.
And you don't have to "feel sorry" for our kind. We are not ignorant, we are brave, we are the ones having faith in the course of the nature -- our human nature.

ValKaras, a virus can´t live without a host.

So the goal of all efforts to fight the pandemic is simply to let the virus not find new hosts.

One measure is to wear masks, for 1 major and 1 minor reason:
major reason: passive, protect yourself from incoming virus loads,
minor reason: active, prevent spreading through the air, why minor? Because this does not prevent spreading through direct contact (that is what washing hands is for).

The other method to not let the virus find a host is have potential host vaccinated, thus not letting the virus get a hold on your organism.

A last word, this not about you (antivax) or me (vaccinated). It is about others. If you get your shot and drop out as potential host, this will have the virus run dry. It is about solidarity.

There is a small statistic probability that you might get the virus after being vaccinated. But that is almost anecdotal.

Anyways this discussion will soon be void if more and more private enterprises exercise their rights to refuse customers, employees without vaccination.

Ok, i understand that in the US some states put legal obstacles in the way of this. Will only amplify the differences between vax and antivax states.

Eventually fear of getting the virus with serious consequences will override fear of getting a vaccine.

And yet, leaders want people to put an experimental drug into their bodies.  Doesn't make any sense.

The 4 billion doses were administered mostly in countries, who could care less about the politicising that you encounter in the USA. And fatalities and hospitalizations are down.

The narrative from the leaked memo seems to be: Treat vaccinated people the same as unvaccinated people with respect to testing and mask wearing, because vaccinated may be unsymptomatic spreaders of the Delta variant. That makes sense to me, not what you made of it... "the Delta Viarant is focused on those who have the vaccine"...

A typical vaccine has gone through 15 to 20 years of research and testing.

This would typically be on GENERATIONS of lab rats and other animals, to see the long term side effects (if any), to identify risks, to see if changes occur to future generations that can be traced to the vaccine.

This particular new vaccine, is a NEW TECHNOLOGY, this form of vaccine has NEVER been used on humans before.  There have been NO long term tests done on generations of lab rats or any other animals.

We will only know what damage this vaccine causes to people who get it, short term, long term, and in future generations, in the years ahead....  there is no documented history to work off of... its impact on our genes is completely unknown.

If that doesn't fit your definition of 'experimental', what does?

Then don´t use anything that is not tested for a long period of time.
With a smile: I thought this kind of thinking was reserved to nanny Europeans.

For now the vaccine prevents damage from people, not causes damage.

From my childhood experience with Polio vax, to smallpox vax scratching (required for travelling in the 60ties and 70ties ..to the USA..) to regular flu shots, none of those vaccines took years to develop. And now the Covid stuff? I got a cross vaccination (1st shot Astraseneca, 2nd shot Biontech/Phizer) without even noticing anything at all.

Every morning, noon and evening we let into our body lots of artificial stuff (simply by eating and drinking). What is the big deal about getting vaccinated? Except this being a political (lifestyle) expression.

Ken, my job took me to many places on this planet. And until the late 80ties, for most remote locations you were required to get vaccinated to be eligable for visa. Nobody complained, getting a vaccine shot was part of the job.

So today with vaccine development watched so closely and held transparent, why have any issues with it?

I probably get 2 shots in october, 1 regular, updated flu shot and 1 Covid19. If i don´t get into serious trouble, i still have 2 arms by then, so nothing to worry about.

With the latest preliminary information on vaccines and the Delta variant i suppose the virus will stay with us and we will have to adapt. Adapt either by accepting vax shots regularily or by going through infection at some time and after antibodies are worn out again and again get infected.

About the experimental nature of mRNA? The development was derived from mRNA cancer treatment vaccines. In other words, the BioNTech people in Mainz didn´t start from scratch. They only adapted their development to the Covid19 virus. That is why they were so fast.

We followed this development from the very beginning in Jan. last year. The brain behind, the chief medical officer is the wife of the CEO and she is a local of my region. Was interesting to see how she jumped into public focus.

On this point you are wrong.  I will illustrate the polio vaccine.

The research on the polio vaccine started in 1947.  The first polio vaccine was administered by Jonas Salk to his family in 1954.  That's seven years.   It didn't become available for the public until 1955...which is eight years.  So, lets see where we are with this vaccine eight years from now.  The polio vaccine was NOT an experimental vaccine.

RMN: if i understood correctly then the time between mass testing and admission was 1 year for Salk´s vaccine. However production methods must have been archaic, so in some cases active viruses were injected and caused real problems and suspension of the vaccine distribution.

That was in the 50ties. At that time  i must have been one of the guinea pigs in the first years of mass administration, when i got the vaccine. Anyways, you are right, vaccine developments don´t pop up instantly.

But that was also not the case for the mRNA vaccines of today. At least BioNtech had long history of RNA modified immune response vaccines.

They had their  "prototype" ready in Febr. or March 2020. What took time was to go through all the test stages and approvals. The management of BioNTech teamed up with Phizer to get the firepower of a larger international company for production and distribution. Until 2019 BioNTech was a fairly small, family run business. Too bad i didn´t buy stock when they went public in 2019.

An update and explanation on the leaked CDC findings:

          https://www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1101 … 21261295v1

This study looked at the dynamics of virus loads in an infected person. The study found out that initially after infection the virus load (especially delta) is similar for vaccinated and not vaccinated people.

However vaccinated people reduced their virus load much faster than unvaccinated.

This explanation builds a bridge between the CDC wording and the real world effectiveness of vaccination. After a day or 2 the vaccinated people are no more infectuous while the unvaccinated are.

I understand, this doesn´t make matters less complicated, but the new study findings make very much sense.

CNBC’s All-America Economic survey showed 48% of American adults approved of the job Biden is doing as president, up a point from the first quarter. But his disapproval numbers grew as well, to 45% from 41%.-Just 22% give the economy positive marks now and are optimistic.

          https://www.politico.com/news/2021/08/0 … ing-502439  Poll:    ---    Biden’s approval rating falls on Covid-19 concerns
The Quinnipiac survey found the president’s overall approval rating fell to 46 percent as some Americans lost faith in the pandemic response.

Please check out Rasmussens polls. They give daily polls for several poll takers.

He is tanking in the polls weekly. In regard to his job performance with COVID  --- He is failing.... He should not be offering cash or incentives. That speaks down to people. he should be offering true information on the science of viruses.  If more people had solid information on viruses they might make a more educated opinion on getting the vaccine. Biden divides, takes down to American's. He has failed with pulling the country together to fight COVID. He has pitted one against the other, as IMO he set out to do.

American's are waking up to the ploys of divide and conquer, and it shows in the polls.  The old divide and conquer ploy is just that --- old, and warn out.

Many of my friends who are mothers are afraid of having their children take the vaccine because of a possibility it might cause sterilization. There are no guarantees in this vaccine which does have side effects such as Bell's palsy.

As Americans we have a choice. And, making people show their card as proof of having taken the vaccine is going against the HIPAA mandate of 1996. I am sure there will be a lot if busy attorneys if this keeps happening.

This is a power play and since most people listen to the controlled media and not doing any research of their own. And, not watching the truth on a few YouTube channels. Listen to Dan Bongino on YouTube--get the truth and be educated in the times we are living.

Republicans aren't doing such things.  They are seeing the madness of instituting draconian measures.    Democrats are doing the OPPOSITE.  New York City is instituting draconian measure which REQUIRE people to present VACCINATION ID in order to go to museums and restaurants.  How TYRANNICAL is that?   The COVID-19 vaccine isn't safe.  There have been evidence of people dying from the aftereffects of the vaccination.    Republicans are protecting people's freedoms.  Republicans haven't devolved into dictators like Democrats have. The vast majority doctors guess each case is delta variant. Then assume authorities say 99% cases are from unvaccinated patients. Which is a complete fabricated lies.
Try calling up any authority on delta Variant and tell them you think you got delta variant because your unvaccinated, they won't test you because there isn't any test lab for delta variant or any politicians or hospital who can direct anyone.

They are completely brainwashing and fear mongering the public time and time again.

The delta variant of the virus has genetic differences from the other variants. These cause its spike proteins to be different. The spikes are what latch onto our cells and enable the virus to infect us. There is a test for the delta variant, as I mentioned before. Here’s an article that I just found that is related to British Columbia, where I live. I’ve included two significant paragraphs.

            http://www.bccdc.ca/health-info/disease … 9/variants

“The BCCDC Public Health Lab performs whole genome sequencing (WGS) on most positive COVID-19 cases. This gives scientists more accurate information about all of the COVID-19 variants in the province.”

“Information on VoC (Variants of Concern) types is collected for public health surveillance and is routinely reported to health officials across BC.  The type of VoC a person has does not affect the medical care they receive. Therefore, this information is not routinely reported for the purpose of patient care.”

That could mean politicians and multimedia mass cluster of confusing of where ever the wind blows. Nothing Real or  biological confirmed or no site or physical place to test delta variant.

Okay, I understand what you mean now. I don't know of any place where I live where people can ask to be tested specifically for the delta variant of the virus. As one of the articles says, it seems that the patient and their doctor are told whether or not the patient has a COVID-19 infection, not what variant they have. The test for the delta variant does exist and is performed, however, so that data can be obtained by health officials.

Those that gather together on a plane without one Democrat in the bunch wearing a mask.

Or the feigned necessity for all people to be vaccinated and wear masks, as we allow millions of migrants to flow across the border without being vaccinated, busing and flying them to cities throughout the country at taxpayer expense.

Or the call to save the world from Climate Change, while just the other day the President gathered for a meeting with the UAW and GM & Ford execs to talk about one day, maybe, possibly, having half the vehicles produced be EVs... by 2030...  doing nothing to put pressure on the Legacy Auto Industry, as they and Oil/Energy Companies do everything they can to stall that reality.  EU and China will be 90% EVs by that time, easy.

"Conservative lawmakers and activists have used the term "critical race theory" as "a catchall phrase for nearly any examination of systemic racism", according to The Washington Post.[10] In September 2020, after seeing a piece on Fox News in which conservative activist Christopher Rufo denounced CRT,[69] President Donald Trump issued an executive order directing agencies of the United States federal government to cancel funding for programs that mention "white privilege" or "critical race theory", on the basis that it constituted "divisive, un-American propaganda" and that it was "racist".[70][71][72] Rufo's use of the term propelled the controversy into the mainstream; he wrote on Twitter, "The goal is to have the public read something crazy in the newspaper and immediately think 'critical race theory'."

Considering many of those democrats on the plane who chose to disregard health regulations ended up getting Covid, not sure one should choose to use them as validation.  They might have actually proved the opposite, that the regulations in place to wear masks would have actually help to protect them from the virus.

And saying millions of migrants are being allowed to flow across the border is quite the exaggeration.  So if someone is basing a justification for ignoring health guidelines on that lie, that says more about their ability to accept clearly false information.

Thank you for validating those facts.

Democrat politicians disregarded their own rhetoric, as they always do, traveling with total disregard to social distancing and masks.

The President rants about all people needing to be vaccinated, but has a "help them cross" unofficial policy when dealing with the border.  Biden forced out the head of the U.S. Border Patrol, even as we hit a 20-year-high in illegal border crossings.

In May alone, the Border Patrol took more than 180,000 illegal immigrants into custody, the highest one-month total in two decades.
Those are the ones accounted for.
As we take in so many new people, not a one is receiving vaccinations.

And when it comes to that suck-up fest to the UAW and Legacy Auto industry Biden had the other day, there couldn't have been a more public slap in the face to all those who are truly trying to make change away from the Oil industry and ICE vehicles.

Truly sad, the one thing I really believed was going to see serious effort to move forward under Biden/Democrat control, EVs and Renewable energy... what a joke, what a betrayal to those who believed they actually gave a crap about that.

All they care about is creating a new Carbon Tax so they have one more tool in their arsenal to steal away your money.

Hard not to confirm it since there's photographic evidence of them sitting on a plane without masks.  There's the big difference between us.  When presented faults, we acknowledge reality.  We don't hear a man say he sexually assaults women, then side with him when he denies being a sexual assaulter.

In May, 38% of those taken in were repeat crossers thanks to the Trump policy of deport them for Covid reasons.  So instead of 180,000, around 40% are the same people being caught over and over again.

And as soon as Biden offers immigrants vaccines, then all we get to hear from people like you will be how he favors immigrants over Americans.  Well, Biden is doing the right thing by trying to vaccinate America first.  Funny how it's only America first when it's your guy in the Oval Office.

And on top of the long Covid issues, it's the mental and emotional toll on health care workers.  It's the danger that teachers will be in.  It's front line grocers.  You see, some less selfish Americans are considering their fellow citizens during this crisis.

Plus, natural immunity isn't quite as good as being vaccinated it turns out:

Just heard an interesting question posed.  For the Anti-Mask, Anti-Vax people, what is your solution to ending the pandemic?

And before you say herd immunity, realize that those who took the vaccine for the alpha variant are susceptible to the delta variant which is 50% more transmissible.  And there are beta and gamma strains out there currently as well.

Are you just expecting to sacrifice 340 Americans per day to a new strain, which is how many is the average per day that die of the disease so far in 2021?  Covid is three times more deadly than the flu by deaths per day on average.

So what's your plan to slow down or end the pandemic?  We'd like to know.

This is not the first pandemic.  So, it's time to look to history.  I don't like the NYT, but this writer is good.

"In other words, an end can occur not because a disease has been vanquished but because people grow tired of panic mode and learn to live with a disease. Allan Brandt, a Harvard historian, said something similar was happening with Covid-19: “As we have seen in the debate about opening the economy, many questions about the so-called end are determined not by medical and public health data but by sociopolitical processes.”

It’s good to bring up this topic, but it’s irresponsible not to mention which versions of the vaccine are involved and what the frequency of observed blood clot formation is. People need complete information in order to make a decision about getting a vaccine.

The online document in the link below was given to me as an information sheet when I received my first dose of the vaccine. Look at the “What are the possible reactions after the vaccines?” section. You’ll notice that it says that blood clots have been associated with only certain types of the vaccine, and it gives the frequencies of the clots. The frequency is a very low percentage but should still be noted.

Anyone concerned about blood clots should look at several reliable sources of information and compare the reported frequencies. They should then consult their doctor if they still have questions.

Mike, I wonder if you might answer a question for me? I have a feeling at some time very soon we could hear about another strain of COVID beyond DELTA.  I can't predict the virulence of what strains will come due to us not destroying COVID altogether. However, here is my question --- If a strain comes along that shows itself to be virulent enough to kill millions of all ages in a month's time, would you consider it enough of a crisis that would warrant taking the vaccine?

I am curious, would the stats and fact a virus is killing many more people of all ages, including children sway you to take a chance
on the vaccine even still believing it to be an experimental vaccine?

Mike --- A heart attack affects the person having the attack, it can not be pasted to another.

        I agree with this too.

A few days back my wife told me they just reinstated wearing masks at Publix, Walmart, CVS, etc. in our area... I am unsure what she was reading, state, regional, don't really know.

We were out and about the last couple days, and when in stores, almost no one is wearing masks (maybe 5% of the people) everyone is still acting as normal, going to restaurants, cruise ships and tour ships are running again... she says to me "I don't understand why people aren't wearing their masks"

I said to her, people are sick if it... they are done with it.  Until people start dropping dead on the streets from this, don't expect them to go back to wearing masks and sheltering in their homes... and I doubt any business that tries to enforce it will remain in business... least not in our area.

Val, I happen to pick up an interview with Dr. Refield Today.  Dr. Robert Redfield was interviewed by Martha Maccallum .   He is a very respected virologist. I was shocked to finally hear a virologist make the admission that he felt in the next few months we will see a mutation that is far worse than we have seen. I heard the same rumblings from Dr. Fauci last weekend. I follow Redfield because I respect his opinion flong before COVID. He has been pretty much correct all along in regard to these viruses. He feels it was a leak from a lab, and via gain of function made to infect humans at a rate like few other viruses we have witnessed. He certainly put his opinion out on a limb...

I don't think it's a problem you breathing around vaccinated people. It's breathing around both unvaccinated that is literally giving this virus a chance to stick around and most likely become a much worse virus to handle. One that even the current vaccine will not work on. We could be back at square one with a virus that is like no virus we have ever witnessed.

Today  Dr. Robert Redfield has interviewed Martha Maccallum on Fox News. Dr. Redfield is a very respected virologist. I was shocked to finally hear a virologist make the admission that he felt by this winter we will see a mutation that is far worse than we have seen. I heard the same rumblings from Dr. Fauci last weekend. I follow Redfield because I respect his opinion, and he has been pretty much correct all along in regard to viruses. He feels it was a leak, and man-made to infect humans at a rate like no other virus.

If you are interested to watch this clip of Dr.Redfield he gives a good description of what he feels the COVID virus ultimately is, and unfortunately where it will go next if we don't control it.

It is not wise to create a virus that can't be handled or controlled.  This is one of the reasons the world should be looking for answers, and retribution to make sure this kind of research is stopped.

The cat is already out of the bag, with millions dead... Time to make sure this kind of research is stopped.

I knew sooner or later the virologist would be coming clean on how the virus was created, and where it now might head. Redfield is getting out there now to keep egg off his face.  He pretty much has said the same thing from the very beginning, and he was not listened to. And it is odd. he is a true virologist.

From the beginning, he has concentrated on the science of the virus.

I keep thinking of the quote "Those who forget history are condemned to repeat it" by George Santayana in 1948.

"Welcome to 1938: First, they came for the unvaccinated"

It's time for alarm bells. It's time for me to play the part of Paul Revere: "The communist tyrants and dictators are coming! The communist tyrants and dictators are coming!" They're coming first for unvaccinated Americans.

This is 1938. I'm a Jew. I now understand just a little of what it felt like to be a Jew in 1938. No, it's not the Holocaust. Nothing can be compared to the Holocaust. Ever.

First, "the papers." Vaccine mandates and vaccine passports are just like 1938, when the Gestapo demanded papers from every German.

Republicans asked for "papers" from migrants who had broken into our country. Criminals. Democrats said, "No, that's racism." Republicans asked for "papers" once every two years for federal elections, to prove you have a right to vote. Democrats said, "No, that's racism."

All for the crime of being unwilling to inject an untested, rushed to production, experimental, "for emergency use only" shot into our bodies.

What happened to the war cry of Democrats: "My body, my choice"? It only applies to murdering babies, but it doesn't apply to dangerous experimental shots we don't want injected into our bodies.

Weren't Jews injected with experimental drugs by the depraved Nazi government? Wasn't that a key part of the Nuremberg trials? That no government could ever again inject experimental shots into the bodies of unwilling citizens? Isn't that a basic human right?"

Yes, Kathryn being healthy is always the best defense against natural viruses. Like the common cold... But not sure a healthy body will in the long run be able to handle this particular virus. It may be man-made, made to work its way through mutations, and make many very sick.

A virus that can't be handled as easily as some others we have known.

Just as natural selection has shaped the evolution of humans, plants, and all living things on the planet, natural selection shapes viruses, too.  They need a host organism in order to reproduce. The human immune system does use a number of tactics to fight viruses. The virus's job is to evade get through the immune system,  and then create more copies of itself, and then use the new host to spread the illness to others.  Characteristics that help a virus do its job tend to be kept from one mutation to another, the strongest characteristics are kept, the weaker ones are a discarded The mutation is as a rule more able to infect quicker, and in many cases make the host sicker.

The virus needs a new, healthy host for its new mutation to survive.  If the population has built up a herd that has antibodies, the virus will fail because it can't find new hosts.  If it continues to find hosts it will mutate again and again --- and can get worse in its strength and even choose different parts of the body to destroy.  You are correct there will always be a bit of the first virus, but it soon becomes the smallest part of the virus as it mutates to new and different strains.

If one has antibodies to a virus, these antibodies lock onto the outer surface proteins of the virus and prevent it from entering or hurting the host.  A mutation virus will be less likely to be affected by the antibodies due to the new difference from its prior composition.   If the virus is left unchecked it will mutate for many years.

For example, in 2009  H1N1 hit Mexico and the US. It was a very bad virus that did not discriminate by age. It killed many. Today you will find the vaccine for H1N1 still being incorporated in the yearly flu shot. It has never really fizzled out. We are very lucky H1N1 mutated into less virulent strains over the years.  But COVID is a far worse virus when compared to H1N1.

In my view, we need to treat this virus as an unknown, we just are beginning to learn its origin, and that it possibly is some scientists are now saying it shows components of a man-made virus. Just not sure where it will head.

I hate to tell you this, but your rebuttal confirms what the other doctor was saying.

That doctor literally agrees with what the first doctor said, he says we will never be rid of the virus, even when he goes on to disagree about the vaccination part, he actually is confirming to a large degree what the other doctor said, but that would take "some unpacking" as he said... so I will leave it.

What I did like that he said, was that the rise in outbreaks in the southern states has nothing to do with them being Redneck Republicans, and everything to do with people escaping indoors to get away from the heat... the reverse of what we see in Northern states where they are going outdoors much more during the summer.

          Isn't science grand?

As simple a thing as recognizing that people (especially older people) stay indoors during the summer in Southern States, while up North they are going outdoors... and then in the Winter up North they stay indoors, while down South they spend more time outdoors, helps explain the increase in outbreaks, when they occur and why.

MOST importantly for me, he too states that kids shouldn't be getting the vaccine, shouldn't even be getting tested for the virus as it is literally no threat to them.

          1. Valeant profile image75
Valeantposted 3 years agoin reply to this

I also noted some agreement, but in the second one, the point was made that the goal of the vaccine was never to eradicate the virus.  The goal is to prevent people from becoming so ill they need hospitalization or dying.  As we see with those enter ICU's now, the vaccine is accomplishing its goal as close to 99% of people in the hospitals are unvaccinated.

And rebutting the facts about masks stopping the droplets, where the virus exists, which masks do help with seems very important.

In regards to children, you'll have to weigh the long term damage the virus can do as the research comes out versus the side effects of the vaccine.  Especially the data coming out about those losing their smell and cognitive issues.  That happened with me.  I'll go to write a certain word now and it comes out as jibberish from time to time.  My brain and hands don't always work together when writing and I need to go back and edit things.  I'd keep an eye on those long Covid effects before deciding you're willing accept your children getting Covid.

PeoplePower, Valiant, Crank, and others who believe all people must receive this vaccination or they are essentially murdering other people.

I get it, you look for stuff that supports your value and belief systems because when you find it, it makes you feel better and then you don't question it and want to share it.  It's the effect of too much exposure to mass media propaganda.

The Psychological impact of repetitive messaging allows the media, through television primarily, bring people in global separate locations together by exposing them visually to the same ideas and concepts.

Propaganda has a way of bringing out latent drives and traits within an individual. An example of this would be a prejudice about an event. Propaganda will reinforce the individuals feelings by proclaiming the same trait openly.

This is used by preying on fears and embellishing facts, such as telling people a virus is fatal to over 10% who get it, when in reality it is fatal to nearly no one below the age of 45 (without other serious health issues) and to less than 1% of the overall population.

The possible negative reasons that may be behind this: power, control, political gain, profit (you can bet those Pharma companies are making billions off of this)  are ignored, people who are susceptible to propaganda convince themselves that these issues are not relevant.

Most people over the age of 60 have been so programmed by years of indoctrination into our socio-cultural system in America that they do not recognize that Journalism and News are no longer beholden to the freedoms and ideals they held a quarter century of more ago.

MSM News today is completely owned and controlled by Billionaires and International Corporations, the messaging is chosen from those in control, any efforts of individual journalism and reporting have been left to "crackpots" and "Conspiracy theorists".

Anyone that doesn't believe the Corporate sponsored messaging is a loon on the extreme Right or Left to those who have bought into the system and do not question its authenticity, in fact, many of these people see those who would question or doubt the MSM propaganda as a serious threat, not just to others, but their own reality/sanity.

Most humans are not designed to be able to accept a reality where the truth is that their corporate controlled government and corporate sponsored and controlled news sources are lying to them constantly.

As humans are social animals they feel a need to belong and to have faith in the social system with which they belong.

Ken:  Do you even read the article?  If you didn't that proves that you can't handle what it says about your Dr. Stock.  Remove yourself from the politics.  The virus doesn't care about your politics.  It would exists if there were no Fox News, no MSM and no propaganda.  It only wants to get to your lung tissue  so that it can replicate and survive.  If we were living in prehistoric times and it existed, it would still behave the same way.  We have to keep it from replicating in our lungs, so that it can't thrive.

"Most humans are not designed to be able to accept a reality where the truth is that their corporate controlled government and corporate sponsored and controlled news sources are lying to them constantly."

So it is all one big lie and we will either survive or die from the virus regardless of masks and vaccines because corporations are making mega bucks off of lying about the pandemic and it's all about government control?  That is so sad.

                  Does it?

Hmmm, I wonder what the actions of Governors like Cuomo and Whitmer would have been if no politics were involved?

Would they have ordered people sick with Covid into Nursing homes to drive up the death rate if not for politics?

Would they have locked down their States and passed draconian measures if not for politics?

Anyways, to me politics has nothing to do with my reaction to the virus or the vaccine, I have had the same outlook on it whether it was Trump or Biden.  My opinions come from past experiences with "experimental" or "new" vaccines, such as the Anthrax vaccines they forced on military personnel.

I don't watch ANY TV NEWS so I am hardly influenced by FOX or CNN, I value my sanity too much to expose it to the nonsense they put forth for consumption.  What little I see of any "news" is not from TV sources.

I am not the one whose opinions have been warped by MSM nonsense.

I am not the one that titled this thread "Are Republican protecting your right to die from the Delta Variant?"

What is right for you and your situation, is NOT right for me and mine... the difference is I am willing to accept your decision to do whatever you want to yourself, and you want to force others to do what you think is right.

Cuomo's actions, before it was realized that Covid spread through ventilation systems, was not to 'drive up the death rate.'  He made a mistake and it cost lives.  Trump hid the truth from Americans about Covid and it cost lives.  DeSantis' and Abbott's mask mandates restriction will cost lives.

You have been at this site arguing the big lie, so while you are not getting your news from TV news, your sources are dubious, at best.  Again, same lie made in 2016, proven false.  Yet, you buy it again in 2020.

You may believe seat belts are not right for you.  You may believe you are so well trained you could discharge a weapon in a public area without causing physical harm to anyone.  You may believe you can handle your liquor and drive.  Thankfully, there are dozens of things where you think they are right for you and yours, but you would clearly be wrong.

                Ken,

I would love to see  Dr. Daniel Stock's rebuttal to this article.  I'm sure he could provide even more insight.  So, this factcheck is an opinion piece and nothing more.  There wasn't even an attempt to get a response from Dr. Daniel Stock against the allegations made against him.

Does anybody understand journalism involves getting BOTH side to story?  Providing a way for those who have accusations made against them to respond?

What a shame people are so gullible to believe this "hit piece" as it is nothing more.

Did Stock provide a way for the NIH and CDC to respond to his allegations?  No?  Then his was an opinion piece as well, just one that got videotaped and shared.  Many trained doctors have some issues with his 'opinion' he gave during this meeting.

What a shame that people are so gullible to believe the arguments that Stock's videoed 'hit piece' made against the NIH and CDC, as it is nothing more.  See, your own arguments apply to both sides of this coin.

Well, it is a bit of a difference.

Dr. Stock was giving a talk and not engaging in a debate.  The CDC and NIH were not the topic of the talk, they were only part of it.

The article from factcheck was focused on Dr. Stock and made direct accusations.  It was a one-sided, unbalanced article.  It was not journalism, but a "hit piece" pure and simple.

As I said, I do wonder what Dr. Stock would say if given a chance at a rebuttal  against the accusation made against him.

He is now in the public eye, I'm sure he can find a platform to speak out if he needs to.  He chose to enter the public arena when he spoke at a public event.  And Dr. Stock made direct accusations as well.  The only difference is video versus an article - both are media.

And Most people I see are wearing medical masks, there no control anyway. Adverage person holds on to a mask for a month. Dragging their droplet or toxicity gathering inside. Then spreading it everywhere they go on tables, desks and handling it all the time with their hands. Not washed enough and working 8 hours days not designed for this.

No proof that vaccines work. All I know the speed of Covid deaths even in the slowest season. Had double in speed since the vaccines roll outs and top vaccines speaker claim it will get ten times worst.

By smoking it's legal in every country in the world. Do you really not know of any? Amazing. Search laws restricting smoking.
Tobacco deaths 100 million not banned in every country in the world.

                Self consumed.

To all you antivaxxers and anti-maskers out there who think your immune system will protect you from the virus, I have some questions for you.

Since you have superior immune systems, you should be able to kiss someone on the lips who is dying of the virus and because you have so much faith in your immune system, it won't even affect you? Yes or no.

You would also be willing to be in a room with known people who have the virus and let them cough in your face while you don't wear a mask?  Yes or no.

For those of you who think that by not getting vaccinated and wearing a mask, you are doing your part to deny big pharma their huge profits? Yes or no.

I have news for you.  Welcome to capitalism at its finest. Big pharma could care less whether you get the vaccine or not.  You can thank their lobbyists and  republicans who believe in deregulating corporations and their policies for their huge profits.

That's why we had the financial meltdown and people had to walk away from their houses when their variable interest rate mortgages reset so high they couldn't afford their homes.

I'm more concerned about Hannity, Ingraham, and Carlson getting their huge salaries from their sponsors by putting out propaganda about the virus and influencing millions of people with the wrong information than I am about big pharma and their profits.

As far as losing your liberties and freedom, try going to the Capital now as a tourist and see how far you will get.  Thanks to Trump and company and his domestic terrorists, I'm sure they won't even let you in.

Many years ago we we were able to sit in on a Supreme Court trial and watch the House of Representatives in progress as tourists. Try that now.

For those of you who think this vaccine is experimental, it has been in the making for over twenty years as the human genome was being decoded.  That is how the vaccine works, it is a piece of genetic code that stops the virus from replicating.

Why is it statistics show more people who have been vaccinated survive more than those who have not? Why is it that antivaxxers who gather in large crowds become super spreaders of the virus?

          https://www.scientificamerican.com/arti … 9-spread1/

As far as the vaccine harming you, statistics show that the harm is insignificant to the benefits received from the vaccine. It's like your chances of crashing in an airliner, yes it can happen, but it is statistically insignificant compared to you flying safely to your destination.

These are just a few questions and ideas for you to ponder. I'm looking forward to your answers.

The answer is easy. No. And most people know that. No vaccine is 100% effective.

CDC: COVID-19 vaccines are effective at helping protect against severe disease and death from variants of the virus that causes COVID-19 currently circulating, including the Delta variant.

                  But you knew that.

              It's just the beginning.

This is the attitude of the LA city council.

"LA's plan comes from Council President Nury Martinez and council member Mitch O’Farrell.

In a prepared statement, Martinez claimed, "It's our responsibility to protect the public, that includes protecting them from the unvaccinated. The decision to not get vaccinated doesn’t just affect you. We have kids under the age of 12 who are not eligible for the vaccine yet, and someone’s decision to not get vaccinated affects them as well."

O'Farrell claimed those who choose not to take the experimental vaccines are "immoral."

Let that attitude sink in for a minute.

The head of the LA City council believes those who choose not to put an experimental vaccine into their bodies immoral.  People who recognize a drug that nobody knows the long-term effects or long-term side effects it could cause.  They don't want to be forced to put something like this in their body.   A vaccine that when taken still makes it possible for a person to get Covid and die from Covid as well as spread Covid.

Since you didn't read or chose to ignore it, here it is for all the world to see.

"Council President Nury Martinez and Councilman Mitch O'Farrell introduced the motion last Wednesday.

"This is not a vaccine mandate ... we're not going to deny anyone the ability to access essentials, food, medicine, etc., regardless of vaccination ... but what is immoral is choosing not to get vaccinated, choosing to listen to some delusional rant on Twitter,'' he added."

Here's your problem, you don't GET IT, what happens historically to individuals when the people in power call them "immoral?"  There is a bigger picture here you don't seem to have the ability to see.  Maybe this is an advanced level of thinking...but as I said before...this is just the beginning.

The only reasons why our guns haven't been taken away is because of "paranoid folks" that fight their every effort to do so.  And despite that, in some states they have lost many rights to own, carry, or use to protect themselves any firearm.

The only reasons why our country hadn't long ago adopted Socialism/Marxism/Communism is because "paranoid folks" have fought against those trying to make the country so.  I imagine AOC, and many like her, would be just as happy as can be if she could install her version of Socialism as the only government in America.

I think the correlation between people having concern over the vaccines, and believing they will be rounded up into gas chambers, well... I'll leave that one alone.  I think that's overreach on your part.

If they get vaccinated instead of believing in conspiracy theories and various things that don't exist, they can enter. When they are not a massive risk for infecting other people and killing them, they can enter. They are preventing themselves from entering.

People who are vaccinated can spread Covid just as easily as those who are not vaccinated.  So, then, what's the problem?

"Now it has — and the data is sobering.

The study details a COVID-19 outbreak that started July 3 in Provincetown, Mass., involving 469 cases. It found that three-quarters of cases occurred in fully vaccinated people. Massachusetts has a high rate of vaccination: about 69% among eligible adults in the state at the time of the study.

It also found no significant difference in the viral load present in the breakthrough infections occurring in fully vaccinated people and the other cases, suggesting the viral load of vaccinated and unvaccinated persons infected with the coronavirus is similar."

Actually, it unburdened radio talk shows and others so they could provide people with programming that they wanted rather than programming they didn't want.  They tried a liberal radio network with Al Frankin, it bombed terribly because nobody wanted to listen to it.  Radio, news, etc. is performance based and doesn't go against market demands if it wants to be successful.

The variants came out when the vaccines came out with double the speed of covid deaths to date. I'm ok if people want to be a continuous scientific experiment that killed all the animals tested . More vaxxers are dying more than nonvaccinated. Why would your owners tell you the truth? They want to increase their slaves especially big Pharma who makes it more profitable than oil and gas.

About 75% of covid deaths in Canada are over the age 80. CDC states its only 6% its purely from covid. What chances did the 80 years old died from the other 2 or more of the 94% of health conditions. It's all scam. People are not afraid to die, they far more afraid to live, drugs store and liquor stores on too many corners.

There is no test sites for delta variant. Its all made up or guessing by pre programed doctors for money.

Being a natural path, I would buy Dexamethasone, from a drug store. Along with zinc and strong vitamins D and C. That will do it like in a few place around the world and odd place Africa they have eliminated covid deaths.

How do they test for Covid Delta variant?

To detect the delta variant, a specific type of COVID-19 test is required — genomic sequencing. Genomic sequencing decodes the coronavirus' complete set of genes and searches for new mutations. It also matches known variants. Labs at some state and local health departments have access to genomic sequencing.Aug 3, 2021
