Trump gets middling grades on Americans' top issues, Reuters/Ipsos poll finds by Reuters (Feb 23, 2025)
https://www.reuters.com/world/us/trump- … 025-02-23/
"Summary
** Americans prioritize economy over Trump's Gulf of Mexico renaming and Gaza plan
** Fighting inflation is a big motivator for 58% of survey respondents, but 32% approve of Trump's performance on prices
** Musk-led federal spending cuts are also important for voters, but many oppose endeavor
"The poll, conducted February 13-18, asked more than 4,000 U.S. adults nationwide whether they supported a range of positions staked out by Trump and how much the issues would motivate them to vote in the future. The results point to Trump putting considerable effort into policies that many Americans don't like, or don't consider very important."
Just to add more fodder from FiveThirtyEight (538) (Feb 19, 2025)

All just my view
Trump could solve every problem—world hunger, war, you name it—and his polls would never be spectacular. To me, that doesn’t say much about Trump, but it sure says a lot about our society
I found the Where American Stand Poll interesting looks like others are moving toward Trump's agenda. This gives me hope for our society.
I'm expecting to see a further dip in the coming days. Musk and Trump had an awful week. Stock market is in the trash, their voters are all over X whining and crying because they lost their civil service jobs they thought were safe as followers. Musk is calling people retarded, threatening to fire federal employees who don't respond to an email, Town Halls hosted by Republicans are overflowing with angry constituents. Bernie Sanders is on a "fighting oligarchy" tour and also drawing overflow crowds in places like Nebraska. People are increasingly unhappy. Turns out that people didn't vote for chaos and confusion.
Market fell for two straight days, definitely making it "in the trash". It should rise every day of the year, at least 1/4 point per day, for a yearly increase of 65% (plus results of compounding), right?
But to fall for two straight days...well, the sky will surely fall.
About $2,000. I expect to regain it next week.

I believe Kamala pushed everyone of Trump's buttons in the debate. She was in her former prosecutor mode. She was calm and looked at Trump many times. He never looked at her once. She acted as if she was in a court room and talking to the jury about Trump. She had him on the...

Do you wonder why Barr is so concerned about Trump's cronies to the extent of getting personally involved in their perils? As the AG is supposed to be the people's legal protector of the law, what business does he have protecting the POTUS instead?

Which State will be next to decide that their leaders and their State's Supreme Court are more mighty, more powerful than the U.S. Constitution and the Power, which, by design and by LAW, belongs with the American people? That's what this is.....right? A power trip? Let's be the one to outdo all...

Three things have happened in recent days that should have any logical person convinced that President Trump is a liar and guilty of the thing he's being impeached for:1. His lawyers have asserted that the reason for withholding aid to Ukraine had to due with the fact they were responsible for...

To say that Donald Trump did all he could to impede President Biden from accomplishing the tasks America hired him to do is an understatement. He stooped so low that he fired, at 11:30 AM the chief Usher at the White House and sent most, if not all of the staff home. Consequently, there...
